Fish was awesome, desserts were okay, and the starters were amazing! Unfortunately, everything else wasn't. First course (risotto) and the other main course (beef) took almost an hour to come out (50+ minutes). Me and my friend also found it difficult to get the waiter's attention, meanwhile the restaurant was not that crowded (there were about 7 or 8 tables booked, we counted). It took more than an hour for our drinks to come out (we ordered Sprite, a soft drink). And after that, the waiter asked again if we wanted anything for dessert (we already ordered, along with our other dishes), so we were under the impression that he somehow forgot the order. However we also saw the waiter taking notes while we were ordering, so we're not really sure what and/or why this happened. Maybe there were problems in the kitchen. Maybe there was a problem in the front of the house. I guess I'll never know. Thankfully the waiters are kind. Still, we do not think this is normal for a restaurant of this price range. Shame, because we loved the fish and the octopus. We wish you luck in the future.

If you are staying at the Hyatt you’ve got no excuses not to go. Laidback open air concept with that indoor outdoor feel. Only drawback is you will have to deal with some mosquitoes. Food and service was excellent. The standout dish for me was the octopus. Slight crisp and meaty chew to it with some type of radish purée. Must try!!

4.7 stars. We had breakfast here both mornings during our stay at the Hyatt Centric Murano Venice. Wonderful breakfast spread covering hot, cold and in between for those unsure of just what they want to eat. The team here too was superb with their high level of service provided. This definitely is one of my all time favorites in the world when it comes to hotel breakfasts!

During my vacation in Venice, Osteriva proved to be the best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to dine at. The refined and welcoming atmosphere, combined with impeccable service, makes this place a must-visit for anyone seeking a romantic and luxurious dinner. We were two, and we were 100% satisfied: from the careful presentation of the dishes to the high quality of the ingredients and the balance of flavors, every course was a discovery that pleased even the most demanding palates. Osteriva is the ideal place to celebrate special moments, thanks also to the elegant and intimate environment that invites you to spend an unforgettable evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience a unique gastronomic journey in the heart of Venice, far from the usual tourist spots. A true gem that made our vacation even more special. I would also like to thank the director of the Hyatt hotel, Mr. Armando, for recommending this restaurant to my partner in order to surprise me. Mr. Armando is a person of great professionalism who truly knows what needs to be done here in Venice.

Everything we experienced was thoroughly positive and we will be glad to dine here again. The dishes were delicious and quite different to what other restaurants offered. Their wine can be quite pricey but it reflects the quality selection.

The service is a mess. Two staff members were arguing in front of the hotel when we walked in. The restaurant manager and the severs don't communicate and one says one thing that the other says is not possible. But to be told by the restaurant manager that something is possible only to be told by the waiter that it's not. Additionally, the servers seem to be in training as there were several mistakes made - brining the wrong beers, spilling wine on the table, forgetting to bring new cutlery after the initial course. For some reason the restaurant manager decided to ocercompensate by brining a whole plate of cutlery - photo attached. Food was fine. Tiny portions of for the price. The fish had bones left uncleaned. The service was so slow that we had to check in several times. One of the managers did eventually comp some of our drinks. The bathrooms are... interesting, with the male bathroom doors' locks not fully working. For such a hotel and expections this experience was very dissapointing. Killed the whole vibe of the evening. Otherwise the restaurant is beautiful and everything is on theme. I hope this is not the typical experience. I love Hyatt as a chain and their restaurants and service.

great place for dinner. great advices from staff. Raw gambas were excellent. We share a fish and that was enough as a main course for two.

This restaurant is part of the Hyatt Centric Hotel and serves excellent food - mainly seafood. Our waitress was very nice and helpful and made us feel welcome and appreciated. We would return despite the high price tag.
