Let’s start with the positives – the food was good. The restaurants were also great. The wines were pretty okay too and some of the cocktails were decent, although the menu was fairly limited. They weren’t limited with measures however! The coffee in the buffet was terrible though – that really should be addressed.|The hotel itself is pleasant and well set up. The main issue is that it is almost completely geared up for French guests (which make up the vast number of guests). Yes most, but certainly not all, staff can speak some English but it was such a barrier. We sent our child to the kids club for 1 morning but they didn’t engage him at all so we didn’t send him again. They also didn’t speak much/any English. On a related note, they also didn’t have any forms in English for us to sign for insurance purposes, which wasn’t great. |My wife did yoga in the pool area but that was all in French, so wasn’t as enjoyable, or easy to understand as it could have been.|The pool and evening entertainment also didn’t always happen as advertised – a couple of times we went to the area for a kids disco that didn’t happen. That was terrible as our son was generally pretty bored so was looking forward to some entertainment. |Also, there we were told off a couple of times for eating in the bar area, which is next to the eating area, which seemed unnecessary and pretty arbitrary.|The hotel shop was expensive too. There was a little market 70 metres up the road which had a good range of stuff at reasonable prices and the lady there was very sweet!|Overrall, the experience was average and certainly not 5*.

Fabulous hotel. Amazing food. Every facility was kept really clean. The entertainment team were excellent. The evening shows showed incredible dancers, choreography and acrobatics. We also loved our spa treatments. We had a lovely family getaway.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are renovated and very clean, which made our stay comfortable. The food was varied and tasty, with options for everyone.||The only downside was the quality of the drinks at the bars – especially the non-alcoholic ones, which were not at the expected level. Also, the lack of freshly squeezed juices was a bit disappointing.||Overall, I would recommend the hotel for its services and conditions, but it would be great if more attention was given to the drinks selection.

With mixed feelings the hotel not fully met my 5-star expectations though the potential is definitely there. It is a lovely designed place, nice people, good vibe and excellent food. Main issues: -> some superior rooms desperatley need a renovation as this one has mould on the wall in the bathroom -> restaurant garden starts literally 1.5 meter from my doors generating late hours noise that can well prevent from sleeping -> speaking many languages fluently I still had some issues to align with animation team oriented foremost towards french speaking guests and not always inclusive -> some hours (17-19:30) there is literally no food available despite all in option and due to location in the middle of no where going outside is also not super easy so when you actually happen to return from excursion around that time you would need to wait even for a snack -> I'm not sure if number of umbrellas and beach loungers is fully sufficient in peak season outside of adults only areas and private pools.

If you've booked this holiday, have no fear; it's a very attractive, clean hotel. I have all faith you will enjoy yourself.|The food is very nice. Breakfast and dinner have much more choice than lunch. There is always something you'll find. The alcohol is alright. The cocktails are disappointing. Cheap spirits and suryp. |My son and I had a swim-up room, which was really spacious, 2502. My parents paid the same for a swim-up room, 2506. This was really small and didn't even have a front door. They had to come and go from the terrace. I guess it is just luck of the draw. It was a lovely pool and well worth the extra money.|It is the first 5-star hotel I have stayed in that doesn't have a waitress/waiter service taking drinks orders at the bar or pool. Also, they did not supply milk in the room for the tea/ coffee facilities! At first I rang reception who delivered some. After that I used to take some back from breakfast in a paper cup. You get a bottle of water in your room each day. If you want a bottle at the bar you have pay. |The spa is beautiful and the massage I had was perfect. I personally would rate it 4-star plus. There are too many basic things missing. You get a robe and slippers in your room, which everyone needs in 30 degrees. I'd rather just have had more than one bottle of water. Call me crazy!

I stayed here recently with my family and had a really good time. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. There was a choice of restaurants which you had to book in advance which is normal practice in all hotels. The staff were excellent especially in the A la cart restaurant were we found the manager Konstantinos to be very friendly and professional . He was always there to assist with any queries and advice if needed. There is a gym, and spa if feeling energetic. Yes there is a charge but again normal practice. We will certainly re visit this hotel as a good time was had by everyone.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ostria Resort & Spa, Crete. The food was incredible, the room was clean and spacious, and the facilities were top notch for both children and adults. The evening entertainment was also wonderful, especially Thursday night's cabaret, which none of us will ever forget. The only negative was the slightly poor wifi signal in our room, which sometimes cut out and a lack of power sockets. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay there a pleasant one! :-)
