Nice Austrian restaurant. The style is Viennese, hence somewhat sophisticated, the food is good and the atmosphere very nice. The service is fast and efficient. The wiener schnitzel is good but not exceptional. The desserts are excellent. A bit pricey, maybe, but definitely worth a visit.

Serving the best Schnitzel along with freshly made potato salad. Portion was just right. I felt that they served the best Schnitzel as it was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It is not easy to serve excellent Schnitzel in Vienna being an National Dish of Austria & the competition is just so keen across Vienna and whole of Austria. Given that the all time popular Figlmuller restuarant is just 1-2mins down the road. Very good service and highly recommended to make a reservation before coming to the restaurant. Many folks were turned away who did not have a reservation booked. Restaurant gets crowded after 6pm. Much cheers to the lady service captain who served us, gave us good recommendations on what to order. Very friendly & polite too. Apple strudel is a must order here to end this great dinner at this restaurant.

We got lucky with this one. We originally planned eating schnitzel somewhere else but that didn’t work out and went down the street to find the last table available at this charming place. Waiter was very friendly and fast to serve. Weiner Schnitzel was absolutely yummy and I highly recommend you order the mixed salad with it on the side. It was an absolute delight. Wine recommendations were on point as well. Food was quite reasonably priced considering food quality & location

We have eaten in Vienna for over a week now, and this place had the best schnitzel that we have had. The spargel risotto, and beef dish was awesome as well. The service was super. The atmosphere is era 1970sh. I will go back. It was so much better than the more social media popular locales.

Went there Thursday two weeks before Christmas, should be a crowdy evening and the restaurant was empty besides 2 occupied tables. When we walked in, the waiter escorted us to a table. Once trying to sit, a tall woman which was clear shes in a higher positions who asked us to leave saying there's no room for us. It's crucial to mention she heard us speaking Hebrew outside the restaurant - since she came in while we were talking before entering. This act was shortly made us feel so unwanted, and only for our origin. Before, we never experienced anything like this in Vienna, or any other country. And we know how to see racism when it's there. Poor and rasist decision on her end. We will never come back there.

Great Austrian home-style food, not typical tourist food. Amazing lamb and schnitzel.

My fiance and I just stumbled across this place while walking through Vienna and decided to stop for dinner. Out waitress was awesome and my food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend.

Our hotel recommended that restaurant for one off the best in Vienna for there Wiener Schnitzel....very disappointing , almost no meat, salty , no taste plus extra charge for potato accompagnement that was bathing in oil. We could see the manager not very friendly, plus the servings of wine and desserts wine were very small...to expensive for what it is!

Stayed next door to this place for 3 nights and ate here twice. Between the two dinners we didn't have a single dish that wasn't excellent. The Wiener Schnitzel stood out, though. Bare bones presentation and focus on simply the best meat. The owner stood outside the restaurant and chatted with us. He seemed to know a lot of passers by. Felt like a true locals place. We regretted every time we didn't eat here because it was overrun with tourists and bad food.

Visited here on the recommendation of the concierge at the Ritz Carlton. The Schnitzel was excellent, as was the side dish of dumplings. The surprisingly had an excellent Austrian Cabernet. The service was decent, not too friendly, but efficient. The smell of smoke was not appealing, but that is the norm. I would go back for the food next time in Vienna.

Very good food and very good service. We "cried" a bit that they do not have apfelstrudel in the menu and somehow they managed to bring us a portion!
