Otello alla Concordia

The staff were so friendly and wonderful! The wine was beautiful and cozy friendly atmosphere. When it came to the food - the starters were great. We had the fried zucchini blossoms and bruschetta. Several of our dinner party ordered carbonara - and were disappointed that the integral egg in the pasta dish (for all of them who ordered it) came out scrambled. I had the beef ravioli and they were nice and very savory. The pasta was fresh made and perfectly al dente. The tiramisu ordered was also really egg forward with less coffee notes than I would expect (but this might just have been their interpretation as I understand tiramisu can vary the ratio of ingredients depending on the establishment) .

Ate dinner here in September 2025, it was a wonderful meal! The food was delicious, the recommended wine was phenomenal and the ambiance was so nice. We sat in front of the restaurant - it was the epitome of a meal in Rome. Cannot wait to go back!

Food was overall just ok and we had to wait for a long time on Saturday night. Our server Raphaela was great though, very funny guy. Made the experience better.

I would have preferred to come for dinner, but since we had limited time during our Italy tour, we stopped by for lunch. The place was clean and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Rafael and a young colleague whose name I unfortunately missed were very helpful. We tried Rafael’s favorite seafood pasta and the roast lamb, and it was a delightful meal. Thank you very much. I hope to have the chance to visit again.

An authentic Roman restaurant. All things considered, overall the best restaurant we visited in Rome. Pasta dishes obviously prepared with love to be the comfort food that you want, original and delicious. The mixed fried vegetables (starter) were also delicious and crunchy. When they ask you if you'd like some focaccia, make sure you say yes! Thin, hot, with a perfect, moderately crunchy crust, with a discrete rosemary aroma that makes it irresistible. We had apple pie and zabaione for desert, which were both perfect. Out of the restaurants we've visited in Rome there were a couple more that we rated as excellent, but there's something about Otello's originality and attention to detail that makes it stand out for me. Definitely going back next time!

As a fan of the 1999 film “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” I recognized the name Otello as soon as I saw it, and later discovered it was Italian director Federico Fellini’s favorite restaurant, which is likely why it got name-dropped in the movie, given that Anthony Minghella was inspired by Fellini’s work. I ordered an antipasto with focaccia. Great food! I also noticed a lot of locals were dining here, which is always a good sign! :)

This restaurant had been our second choice but was, in fact, number 1 Very good choice of meals for vegetarians and especially if you eat fish. Starters exceptional main course pizza was unusual but excellent, too. Dessert beautiful. Wine very nice and tasty. Service prompt and proffesinal Great choice of wines. Our 1st choice for Rome

Another hidden gem within the bustling city of Rome. Incredible pasta, pizza, and extremely fresh seafood. Bruschetta was made exactly as it should be. Fresh ingredients, attentive and friendly staff, and charming atmosphere. This is a must go restaurant!!
