I'm still hopelessly addicted to Japan, and today I dropped by Otogo, a hip onigiri shop in Sydney CBD. The shop's modern vibe is cool, and their service is seriously top-shelf, complete with a fancy touchscreen menu.
I went for the cheapest option because, well, I'm a budget baller on a mission, and scored two onigiri and one karage for a sweet AUD 10.50. I picked the karage mayo onigiri and eggplant onigiri because, duh, they were free, and came with a complimentary karage and yuzu drink that basically made my day.
This whole experience has me reminiscing about my recent Japan holiday.
A friendly warning — onigiri has a lot more rice than sushi, lol! Don’t underestimate that cute little triangle.
