Otta Camping og Motell

I can only recommend this camping and motel in Otta! We were welcomed warmly by the owner. We could rent bikes for 100kr and use the laundry machine for a small supplement. The cabin was clean and cosy. And what a view on the river ! We loved our stay here.

Clean facilities. Everything looks in good order and not outdated. Most camping spots are along the river. There is a road on the other side of the river, but trafic is acceptable.

I recently stayed at Otta Camping and had an amazing experience! The location is perfect, nestled along the beautiful Otta River and just a short distance from the town center. The facilities are excellent, with plenty of electric outlets, clean shared bathrooms, and convenient washing machines and dryers. The campsite offers a variety of accommodations, from tent spaces to cozy cottages and motel rooms. I particularly enjoyed the free fishing along the river and the stunning sunsets. Being so close to Rondane National Park was a huge plus, providing endless opportunities for hiking and exploring nature. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Otta Camping for anyone looking for a serene and well-equipped camping spot in Norway. I'll definitely be returning!

The campsite is beautiful, very clean and a haven of peace. Special thanks to the campsite manager. We needed to inflate a mattress and had forgotten the pump, we stopped him on his bike and asked if he had a pump available, he said he would be back shortly and even went into town to get us one. A truly kind person and it would be nice if there were more people in the world like this kind gentleman.

Small, cozy campsite near river. Price is fine, showers (10NOK 6 min) and toilets a bit old but VERY clean. Kitchen is fine. Great starting place to go Rondane hike. Would come again

We camped at the edge of river, very nice view, very clean toilets ans shower. The owner maintains a high standard quality of services. We loved this camping site and we recommended it to our frienss. Definitely will return back

This campsite with cabins has everything you need. There are two big kitchens, with lots of crockery, kettle, oven, hob and all. The cabins also have cutlery, crockery, microwave, hob and fridge. This campsite was rather busy and loud, but in the cabins it was fine.

We travel with a caravan through Norway. This campsite is a good choice. We had a place on the edge of the river. The rippling sound of the river is very soothing. From this campsite it is easy to do your shopping in the village and to make trips in the mountains. There was no reception. You find your own place and put the money in an envelope. The kitchen and bathroom are well organized and clean. Showering is done with a coin of 3 or 6 crowns. Warmly recommended.
