Otto & Frank

An absolute must-go if you're in Zagreb. We went there for lunch, then came back for dinner AND breakfast during our trip because we loved it so much. It is 100% worth waiting in line for, everything is SO DELICIOUS, the hype is very real. They're famous for breakfast but the real stars are the lunch and dinner menu (the Zagreb breakfast is really good tho). We loved every dish we tried, but all the very traditional foods like the homemade blood sausage or mlinci were stupidly good. I'm still dreaming about the pork belly and mashed potatoes. The DESSERTS oh my god...that pumpkin dessert...a dream. They also have a really impressive drink menu, with delicious specialty coffee too. Also, really worth mentioning: the whole staff was very nice and professional, always make sure you're having a good meal. Every time we went, if was a different waitress and they all were great! The place itself is comfortable, chill music, great vibes.

Very welcoming elegant, and yet homey type of restaurant near the main square in downtown Zagreb Croatia. The staff here at Otto and Frank is patient, kind and very friendly. I enjoy the egg on toast 😋, since I am Ketovore, I didn't eat the toast. They served coffee but like everywhere in many countries in Europe. They serve lukewarm coffee not hot coffee. You don't get free refills on anything you can order to drink except water. And the larger coffee cups are half the size of the average coffee cup you get in the United States. Half coffee and half warm milk is served everywhere. It doesn't difficult. To find any place that has a normal American size coffee cup. And it's difficult to get anybody to serve coffee steaming hot, which is the way. Coffee is supposed to be But that's the way it is throughout Europe. Lukeworn coffee, that's half coffee half milk. And no refills, unless you pay for each refill. That's my biggest complaint about being able to enjoy coffee while in Europe. But I would recommend Otto and Frank's restaurant to anybody who is visiting Zagreb Croatia.

We had brunch at this place two mornings in a row. Everything was excellent, especially the French toast! Special praise for the waiter who truly enhanced the whole experience with his great energy and positivity!

Tasty breakfast with eggs in a city where egg breakfasts are difficult to find. Only a couple options but both great and both shareable (though we didn’t) if you are just into a light breakfast.

Was recommended this place, and I tried the Zagreb Breakfast. It was alright. Though I feel the ratio of things was a bit off. It was a lot of salad and bread and very little else. Still tasted good though. Service was alright, but they seemed confused, I put my order in with a waitress and three minutes later a waiter comes to take my order. And the table next to me got their order delivered twice. Someone forgot how to communicate haha. I'd come here again but probably go get something else than the Zagreb breakfast.

Came here after searching for recommended brunch spots, and to sample the breaded poached eggs! Super tasty food, really hit the spot. Good coffee & fresh cool iced tea.

Great food, we chose the Zagreb breakfast and Banana Nut Bread… both of them very tasty, especially the Banana Bread!
