Otto Restaurant

Had my 21st here in their small dining room with 20 of my best friends, and I couldn't have spent it anywhere better!! The aesthetic, vibe, service, food and time we had there was AMAZING. It felt like a dream! Ambience was so good. They had set up dried flowers already which was so nice. The windows beautifully lit the place and it was even better with a pretty sunset (+ rain). There was also air conditioning which is always a plus😛 We had control over the aux so when it came to the later end of the night, we were able to transition from jazz to break down music💃🕺 Service 10/10. Our person (she had short hair wi the glasses) assisted us in setting up a high table for my cake to be displayed and mounts for my 21st balloon (which I brought. She also helped us with pouring champagne for my guests (which I had included to our package) which took stress off of me😅 So attentive and amazing! She wasn't all up on us too and had a perfect balance of stepping in when needed and leaving us be on our own😆 Food was obviously the best. We had the set menu and dessert option and all I heard the entire night was how fire the food was! It was a shared set menu which is so good because instead of having one dish per person and everyone just sitting there eating their own food, it broke the ice between my friends who didn't know each other because they were asking if they liked the dish or if they've tried it out already. I loved the goat cheese spinach dumplings and it was highly WANTED that night😆 Overall would recommend to anyone who'd want to celebrate their birthday/special day/any day here!! Would definitely come back not only for the venue, but also food (+ my friends who were influenced by the great pasta)! :)

Booked a table for 4 for a family celebration. Food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Service was excellent despite being a very busy Saturday night. Definitely one of our go-to places for special occassions or when we have visitors craving Italian-inspired food. The espresso in my Affogato was a perfect finish to my meal. We also had a couple of glasses of Prosecco with our meal. My boys favourite dishes were the lamb ragu and beef cheek canneloni. Parking is a little tricky on Krd but possible to find street parking for our 8pm booking, with 15 minutes grace for our booking.

My husband and I celebrated a special evening here during our honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The ambiance was cozy and romantic, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Every bite was a delightful journey of authentic Italian cuisine, crafted with precision and care. While exploring K Road's dining options tonight, my wife and I chanced upon Otto, where Sonny extended a warm welcome and presented their menu. Their contemporary meals (rooted in Italian tradition) were truly splendid, creating a memorable experience. I savored the lasagne with smoked mozzarella and cherry tomatoes, while my wife enjoyed spaghetti with zucchini. The flavors were irresistible, and our Tiramisu dessert was uniquely flavored. The staff (Iyumi, Sam, and a gentleman (sorry I forgot to ask his name) are exceptional as well! Highly recommend! Until the next one!

Oh god I love this place. Some of the best vegetarian food I’ve eaten in Auckland . But good for meat-eaters too according to my partner. The dumpling (nude gnocchi ) is the standout dish but I love the risotto too. Front of house are friendly and professional. Chef’s a bloody genius, the manger is lovely. I’m gushing I know, but it deserves it. Enjoy !

Passing through Auckland for work, was craving some italian food. I did not expect to have one of the best ragu pasta in my life, and I had my fair share of those in Italy. Had to come back to try other dishes, and the gnocchi was also excellent. Service was also great, special thanks to Pascal for helping me get a seat just before kitchen closure !

1st time at Otto, absolutely loved it. Can't wait to go back. Amazing food, casual & relaxed. Good value. Cool interior. New favourite restaurant ❤

Clever eatery doing just about everything right in food, service and efficiency from just 4 on the pass-well done and will recommend or definitely visit again. Even helped us celebrate our friend`s 60th birthday request
