O’Two Hotel is a great choice in Cape Town with an excellent, very convenient location and genuinely welcoming staff. A special thank you to Mercy, who went above and beyond helping us arrange airport transfers and a day tour with the fantastic Nazmie Buzz — highly recommend using him for anything you need while in Cape Town.
We stayed in a king room, which was spacious, comfortable, and had amazing views. One small note: we asked for extra pillows and were told none were available, which was a bit surprising for a hotel of this caliber, though it didn’t materially affect our stay.
The location is a big highlight. There are two great spots right outside the hotel — one with more of a breakfast / coffee vibe and another, Bobo, that’s perfect for lunch or dinner. The hotel is also very walkable to both the V&A Waterfront and Sea Point, and centrally located for easy Uber rides to the CBD, Kloof Street, and Camps Bay.
There is visible construction at the pool and rooftop area, but we didn’t hear any noise during our stay, and it didn’t bother us. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the rooftop beyond early mornings, but the 360° views are epic — especially if you land at night and step outside for the first time, when the WOW of Cape Town really hits you all at once. I’m sure the construction will end up being a great addition to the hotel once completed.
Overall, friendly staff, a great room, and a fantastic base for exploring the city. We’d happily stay here again.
