I recently spent a rejuvenating 7-day yoga and wellbeing retreat at this stunning Caribbean resort, and it exceeded all expectations.||||Setting & Arrival||The resort comprises approximately 36 charming buildings, thoughtfully scattered across the grounds with direct views of the breath-taking water. Arriving by water taxi, I was delighted to find the hotel immediately accessible - no lengthy transfers, just a seamless transition into paradise.||||Accommodation||My room was a serene haven, featuring a grand four-poster bed, a comfortable lounge area, a fridge, a coffee machine, and ample space to unwind. Each morning, drawing back the curtains revealed an awe-inspiring view, with the soft sands mere moments away. The traditional Caribbean architecture throughout the resort added an authentic and beautiful touch to the experience.||||Dining & Facilities||The on-site restaurant offered a varied menu, catering to various tastes with delicious options. The team members I encountered were consistently friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall sense of welcome and relaxation.||Two nights a week there is entertainment/music in the restaurant, which was great fun. ||||Overall Experience||The tranquil and peaceful setting of the resort provided the perfect backdrop for a week of wellness and reflection. The combination of stunning natural beauty, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service created an unforgettable experience. I have returned home with cherished memories that will last a lifetime and a deep sense of gratitude for the time spent in this Caribbean haven.

The rooms need renovation. They are clean, but the chairs had stains on them. The doors didn't shut well, but the AC worked. The beach area needed to be cleaned. The beach chairs needed to be replaced. The whole property needs basic cleaning and renovation. The Ferry from St Kitts dropped us off at the hotel dock, and the dive boat picked us up at the hotel dock, so the convenience of the property is great. The office staff were great and the restaurant/bar staff were wondeful. At night the sunsets are awesome, so we had a $100 room with a million dollar sunset. And one last thing, apparently, the owner let his cows and a bull out on the property at night to graze on the grass. That is great, but in the morning, there are cow paddies are everywhere... Crazy place in the world.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet getaway that feels authentic. The cottages are quaint, the small beach is serene. The rooms would benefit from some straightforward updating. For example, some electrical switches didn’t work, the bathroom is well-worn, a living area chair had lost most of its seat padding. But it was all very clean and comfortable enough. The restaurant food is good, reasonably priced. Just don’t be in a hurry for your meal. The front desk service was great - friendly and efficient at handling our scooter and taxi boat reservations. Location to the water taxi pier is very convenient. The cost (in high season, February) seemed high but there isn’t anything comparable with a secluded beachfront on Nevis.

We stayed for four nights as part of a Swimtrek group. Our room type was the basic room on the beach. The room was spacious and clean with excellent air conditioning and equipped with a refrigerator freezer. The front desk was exceptionally helpful and took care of all our transportation and and restaurant reservations.||I've stayed at many fancy resorts and no place beats Oualie for value. ||Oualie does not have many facilities, but if you are looking for a beautiful tranquil location, this is the place to stay

The Oualie Beach was perfect for us. We love natural and authentic hotels and these cottages really made our stay special. The staff are genuinely helpful, they share their humour and stories and we enjoyed their service immensely. |There are no fences around the perimeter, nothing to spoil the ambience, it is beautifully unspoilt. Our accommodation was absolutely lovely, we loved sitting on the balcony with a breeze blowing through. Our housekeeper Leone made our special event so memorable as she arranged balloons, flowers, tassels and towels in a 60th birthday tribute. She even set the TV to play Happy Birthday. |The food was great and I liked the service at the bar.|We visited in a group for the Nevis to St Kitts Cross Channel Swim, however I hope to return to Oualie for longer next time.

The Oualie Beach Resort was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some rest and relaxation. |Pros:|*Cottages were nice and comfortable. |* Nice screened in porch to allow for sitting outside in shade or at night|*Cottage had a small refrigerator and small coffee pot|* OnSite restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced|* Resort had activities available ( did not see anyone using them, however)|* Water taxi available at resort dock (make advance reservations)|* Staff was very friendly and helpful at arranging for taxi service, tour services and general information|* Resort had live music on designated evenings|* Taxi service available to go to other parts of the island|* Electrical plugs same as USA (120 volt)||Things to consider:|* Resort was very quiet. Seemed like visitors went elsewhere all day. Not much going on there during day.|* Bar on site, but no drink service to beach area|* Not sure if this is the norm, but resort seemed to attract an older, retired crowd. Not a problem for us, but might be a deterrent if a younger couple or group were looking for a place with similar age groups.|* Water was lovely, but beach was small and had as much grass as sand. Not a nice wide, white sandy beach.|* Nowhere to purchase snacks/drinks besides the restaurant/bar. |* Limited, repetitive menu at restaurant. |* Chairs on screened porch, not comfortable for relaxing. ||All in all, we had a lovely stay, but we were looking for more to do by our second day. We ventured out to other areas on the island and were happy to come back to our cottage at the end of our day for quiet and rest.

We had a good holiday at Oualie Beach. The staff were pleasant (special mention to Michelle and Terian) and the food was OK. Sunday night live music in the bar was good but the Tuesday night session was really great. Room cleanliness was good.||On the other hand there was certainly some scope for making our stay more enjoyable. There was a general lack of comfort in the room and in the shared areas. Only one comfortable chair in a double room was just not enough and some weird sun loungers on the balcony were tricky not what we expected. Beach sun loungers were OK and there was plenty of shade under the trees…. better to have trees that unsightly sunshades. I would have expected some beach chairs and small side table to be provided.||Although the staff were pleasant enough there didn’t seem to be a ‘happy customer focus’. The hotel seemed to be suffering from a lack of maintenance and comfort. The most irritating aspect of our stay was the use of cut down wine bottles being used as glasses…. ugly, cheap and unhygienic.

We visited Oualie on a swim trip and could not have enjoyed it more. Nikita and Stacy greeted us warmly, our room was comfy, and the view of the ocean out the front door was unbeatable.|The Tuesday night live music was an added bonus as was Germaine the bartender. We loved the low-key nature of the Oualie, and all of the staff
