Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in North Goa is a beautiful and peaceful place. We visit this church every time we come to North Goa. The location is excellent and very easy to reach, right in the heart of Panaji. During the evening, especially around Christmas time, the church looks absolutely stunning with decorative lights. The view is awesome, and the overall atmosphere feels calm and spiritual. The white architecture, long steps, and lighting make it a perfect place for photos and quiet time. Overall: A must-visit place in North Goa, especially in the evening and during Christmas for the best view and experience.

One of the oldest churches in Panjim also known as the white panjim church.. beautifully decorated and lit up during Christmas. Has these amazing steps where u can stand and click photos of this beauty having multiple staircases. Was closed at night when we went during Christmas.. just opposite the church there was wonderful, innovative decor with lighting and fireworks too on 25th December. Lovely festive fervor here during Christmas. I'm told all the fun is more on 24th Christmas eve..beautiful place and amazing vibe!

Recently, I visited "Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church" in Goa along with my family. This is a very famous church and is conveniently located near the Panjim Bus Stand. For those planning to visit, I would recommend leaving your luggage at the dormitory loacated in the bus stand, as walking to the church is quite easy. This also helps avoid the high auto-rickshaw charges, which can be around Rs. 150–200 just 1 km for one side. We walked to the church and explored its beautiful architecture. Afterward, we also visited the colourful houses of Purtgali on Fontainhas Street nearby. The vibrant streets were a delight to explore, and we had a great time capturing many memorable moments with photos. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend visiting this iconic spot when in Panjim.

Well people come to this church to take pictures as it is one of the most beautifully built church. Great vibes but sadly we visited on Monday when the church is mostly closed. But too much of rush just to take pictures. I am totally amused by the built quality of churches in Goa and everyone once in their lifetime should visit Goa to know the real history and feel the Portuguese vibes. Lady of Immaculate church has a deep history hidden beneath it and all the major churches like Basilica of Bom Jesus and Cathedral Church has history interlinked with it. I liked this church since my college days when visiting Goa was always our dream. Definitely a worth visit. There is hell lot of crowd just to take pictures so if you want a solo pic spend some time because crowd going ain’t nowhere.

Visited this very famous church right in the heart of Panaji on 11/11/2025, couldn't go inside due to renovation work going on, just before last flight of stairway we were stopped by a lady informing us about renovation but offered us candle (₹25/- each) so we took two, lit it and came back down as photography is prohibited up here.
