THEY TAKE CREDIT CARDS! Food was fabulous! First HOT Hash Browns I have had in years! Home cooking like my Mom's! Clean, not crowded table placement. Fabulous service! The owner came out personally to assist me with bill payment as I had not ever used this particular phone related payment service! I'm 69, and am open to learning the new fangled Tech, but I am a bit slow the first time, and the personal service was greatly appreciated!

Google
Exceptional food with huge portions and fast and warm service. Totally worth your time and money!

Google
Really nice place with really good down home style cooking. We had the breakfast and it was all very good. Dry friendly staff too! I would recommend this place over the big name restaurants anytime!

Google
Where to start?…Seriously, this restaurant and the family/people who run it take breakfast, service, ‘common sense’ rules and America to a whole new level of ‘reverence’. I have NEVER I’m my whole life had diner food plates come out cleaner, more organized and perfect than this place! Other reviews criticized the ‘micromanaged style of leadership’, but they just care about the details and assume others do too! The ‘boss’ irons a seam in her jeans, that kind of care for detail and discipline translates into the best run and tasting food around! We loved the hash browns, cheese omelets and blueberry pancakes! Epic tasting food and temperature hot. The coffee was normal for a diner…and they give you your own container so you can drink it at your leisure. The walls are covered with ‘Americana’ and reminds you of how huge but interconnected our country is…a proud family sharing their passion with locals and tourists! Thanks for the experience! It was worth the 15-20 minute wait.

Google
Stopped in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The vegetable omelette was outstanding! Christine's biscuits were delicious as well. The server was very polite and professional. It's not a fancy schmancy restaurant but if you're hungry for big portions and good value it's worthwhile to stop in.

Google
I visited here in late July 2024. The food, atmosphere and staff were great. But not only that, when I left my credit card behind, the team not only connected with the resident I was eating with but also tried to reach out to me via social to connect me back with my card. This is what the Wild West is really all about -- wonderful people trying to do the right thing. Such a great place!

Google
Coming from Australia we were looking for the authentic American dining experience and Our Place did not disappoint. The wait staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, the premises were spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. WIthout a doubt the best breakfast we had in three weeks on the road.

Stopped in on the way back to Calgary Alberta after a motorcycle trip to Colorado. Convenient location. Very good prices. Friendly staff. Side note for our waiter.... don't forget to ride that Suzuki up to British Columbia and check out Nelson / New Denver area (Highway 31 and Highway 3A)

Yelp
My favorite spot. WOW. This place has the perfect American diner feel and the perfect food to go with it. I absolutely destroyed my food. I also ate some of my friends pancakes and it was DELICIOUS. So buttery and melts in your mouth. Awesome service here and the perfect breakfast for a long road trip and great vibes. You must come here, and come here hungry.

Steve H.

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast. Cameron was our server and was excellent! Our coffee never ran dry. Food came out fairly quickly and ample amount of grub. Nothing gourmet; but tasty nonetheless. Will definitely return...

Robin S.

Yelp
Nice old school breakfast and lunch spot. Not fancy but very good. Serves lunch all day. Unfortunately, they are closing their doors later this month, so Cody loses out. - biscuits and gravy some of the best outside the South.

Scott F.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way from Yellowstone to Denver. Great breakfast, friendly and efficient service, clean. What else can you ask for?

D M.

Yelp
Priced right, clean and tidy boarder line greasy spoon. Good food, fast service by 2 wonderful gals :)

Hunter M.

Yelp
Food was underwhelming and bland for breakfast. Gravy was obviously from a packet, and everything else was just ok. The service was weird. The waitress and the female cook in the back seemed to be fighting and bickering very publicly. At one point, our waitress yelled, "you shouldn't be happy that this is your last day!" There was loud music that was playing in the kitchen that the waitress seemed to dislike immensely. Some real drama, that just seemed disruptive the simple 8 AM breakfast we went in for. Will not be going back.

Steve B.

Yelp
Great quaint dinner type restruant. The best biscuists and gravy in Cody. Good hot coffee. Great fast service. But you might have to wait for a bit but worth the wait! 100% reccomend and we go back every time we are in Cody

Sarah C.

Yelp
Food was very nice. Service was very friendly. Decor was fun with the patches on the wall. Very sad to hear that they are closing.

Randy P.

Yelp
Stop by for breakfast, wait time about 25 minutes. This place has that old local cafe feel to it. Service is friendly and check in on our table regularly. Food was okay, I had the biscuits and gravy because I'm always on the lookout for the best. I was disappointed that it wasn't better. Gravy was bland and biscuits were okay nothing special. The bacon was delicious though! I would definitely recommend this place and do plan to return to try out other breakfast items.

Mike Z.

Yelp
We just had breakfast. This restaurant has a nice homey feel, very polite service. Our food was generous and had a precise presentation, tasty too. We would stop here again. Note: if there's a wait, you stay in the car till your name is called. Unique.

Greg P.

Yelp
Had a terrific bacon cheeseburger here today. Great flavor and I loved the onion rings. The waitress was friendly and efficient and telling customers all the things to do while visiting this town. Clean, quiet cafe with a "homey" feel.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Our Place was a delight! We were looking for a filling yet tasty meal prior to entering Yellowstone park and oh em gee this place was superb. The best chicken fried steak ever. Crunchy, moist, juicy, and hot (temp-wise). The servers were super friendly and accommodating as well. Will stop again next time I am in town!

Kathryn O.

Yelp
This friendly little diner is clearly where a lot of locals hang out. Everyone was very nice and I appreciated the sign at the front (see picture). The ambiance was cheerful. I had a chili dog and the chili was delicious. My daughter had the hot roast beef sandwich and the beef, but especially the gravy, was excellent. The pancakes and blueberry syrup were good too. Two people also had pie which they really enjoyed. Service was quick, which given how busy they were, was impressive, and the restaurant was clean. I see a lot of reviews saying cash only but we paid with a credit card.

Emily C.

Yelp
What a cool spot! We came here right when they opened before going snowmobiling. Their bacon is heavenly! The service was fantastic. And the coffee is a tasty steal. This was the perfect place to get our day started on the right foot. Can't wait to visit again next time we're in Cody!

Jim P.

Yelp
Stopped at Our Place in Cody, first time in several years. Don't know what happened. Ordered breakfast since it used to be so good. Even pictures online looked great. Well, that's not what our breakfasts looked like. I can honestly say in ALL the breakfasts I have eaten at cafes none had toast as black and burnt as I received. My wife asked for crisp bacon. The bacon she received was not even half cooked. They used to have mostly young men cooking and they did an excellent job. Our chef was a heavy set lady that was not a chef! Will not ever be going back. Beware, the pictures posted by others are not accurate to the meals there now.

Kati S.

Yelp
Clean restaurant, friendly staff and amazing food! The bacon was the absolute best I have ever had in my life!!!! The pancakes were delicious!!!!! My hubby had the French toast it was delicious! I never eat my fried eggs (I usually give them to my man) but they were delicious so I ate them both! I am horrible with names but I loved our waitress. She went above and beyond to accommodate our party. She had an amazing personality and was funny. This is located right outside of Yellowstone in Cody Wyoming. The dirt lot next door was able to accommodate our parking of two motor homes and the gun shop is next door. This is the place to be!!!!.

Cassandra Y.

Yelp
A little slice of heaven. Very friendly staff. I got the House Favorite (sandwich with breaded chicken breast, ham, and Swiss) with fries. Their buns are really good, and the fries are the good kind that are crisp on the outside and a little soft on the inside. Also, the lemon meringue pie is very good. No complaints.

Brian A.

Yelp
Friendly neighborhood diner. Lots of locals. Tasty food, affordable prices. I've got not a lot to say. If you've been to a breakfast diner, you totally know what to expect. It's good!

John H.

Yelp
My wife and I decided that a good breakfast was in order before heading back through Yellowstone. Being uncertain where to try, we opted for something that looked like the locals seem to prefer. We were quite happy we stopped at Our Place. Breakfast was great, served quickly and everything cooked to perfection. The only down side about this place? They are many hundreds of miles from our home, so we can not dine here again anytime soon. We'd definitely hit this place anytime we are in Cody. Give them a shot, any wait will be worth your time. Great people here.

Ward D.

Yelp
Great local restaurant! Hungry for breakfast, we decided to try this local restaurant. Glad we did. There is plenty of parking in front. There are only about 10 tables in the restaurant but they will take your name for a waiting list and come get you in your car. All the staff are wearing masks and cleaning tables and chairs in between serving customers. The place is very quaint. The staff was great. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The price was very reasonable. Their cinnamon role was excellent and huge. The bacon was delicious and the scrambled eggs and ham were wonderfull. If you are hungry, this is a great restaurant to get some food. Enjoy!

Jeff F.

Yelp
Good food, good coffee, phenomenal service! This restaurant is wonderful. I'll be back.

Chih Jung L.

Yelp
Important thing-CASH ONLY We love this place. My friends and I had a great time dinning at Our Place. The food and the service were awesome. Highly recommend to have bunch here.

Angie T.

Yelp
MAN O MAN, if you're heading to Yellowstone, do yourself (and stomach!) a favor and stop here before your long hikes. Not only do you get delicious homemade food but such a friendly atmosphere of wait staff happily waiting to assist you in your dining experience. I don't think our drinks were ever empty. Food so good and hot, no need to thank me. Just go eat there. We still are reminiscing. I wish I took photos of what we ate, Buffalo Burger and Eggs, bacon, hash browns (which were buttery tasting and crispy my favorite) and toast but we were so hungry after a long drive the night before so this photo op wasn't gonna happen. That is my only regret because it was soooo good

Anne G.

Yelp
Mu cousin and I had a wonderful breakfast at our place. After the first bite, we looked at each other and said "finally, a place that knows to cook eggs." From us, there is no higher compliment! Good coffee, great service. Loved the decor -- you'll have to see it for yourself. Can't wait to visit again!

Doug M.

Yelp
Great breakfast place. Had eggs, sausage and blueberry pancakes. They were all very good. I like to find hole in the wall diners w local owners and this fit the bill. Thought about the biscuits and gravy but the blueberries won out! Not sure how many people were local as the motorcycles have all found it! Servers were good, it isn't a fast in and out as there are not a lot of seats and there was a line waiting. Great place to go when you have time.

Jo R.

Yelp
This is a quaint little place. Very limited seating and not great for large parties. Food was very good and the bacon was very thick. Prices represent the quality of the food - around 11.00 for an average breakfast without beverage. My only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the smell. The restaurant had a smell too it - and it's one of those places you go home and smell like it all day. When on vacay that's not an easy task.

Linnea W.

Yelp
I must have missed something here. We went in for breakfast based on the good reviews and were pretty disappointed. I had the steak & eggs, my steak though tender was strangely prepared it was steamed or something and had a very unappetizing appearance. I cut into it and it was cooked as ordered but had zero flavor now whatsoever I had to salt it and I never salt my food. I ordered over medium/hard eggs the yolks were broken, I'm guessing to get them to cook rather than waiting and cooking properly. My husband had the corned beef hash. He absolutely loves corned beef hash and was disappointed when what he was served was heated canned corned beef hash. McDonald's does a better breakfast. Heads up this is a cash only establishment

Andrew S.

Yelp
This is were the locals go.I meet a few while i was waiting to be seated. Service is good and friendly. Overall menu is a little bit limited because the are only open till two.But they have a full menu all day. So if you want a burger in the morning this is your place

Monica C.

Yelp
A good classic diner if that's what you're looking for. A quarter for unlimited coffee.

Brendan A.

Yelp
There was a long wait (an hour or so), but it was worth it. Eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes were all perfect, and the blueberry syrup went perfect. Love the decor as well!

Thomas D.

Yelp
Best breakfast in Wyoming! Corned beef hash: start with quality corned beef hash - heavy on the corned beef, easy on the potatoes, grilled a little crispy NOT nuked. CBH Nirvana. Oh yes, and coffee is 25 cents a cup.

Brian B.

Yelp
Very good breakfast food and service. I usually hate breakfast restaurant coffee but theirs is quite good. The biscuits and gravy definitely hit the spot.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Let's start off simple: the 25¢ coffee is the best darn coffee I've ever had. It was rich and full bodied, and the unlimited refills felt like the gift that keeps on giving. My family and I had the eggs, hash browns, sausage, and toast. The eggs (over medium) were warm, fresh, and delicious-- the yolk was perfectly warm and runny and perfect for dipping toast. The hash browns were simple and minimalist in the best way. As my dad always says, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The sausage was juicy and tender; the links are great, but the patties taste like little brown slices of heavenly meat. If mana bread came in a meat option, this would be it. We also had the blueberry pancakes and boy oh boy, they were fluffy. Topping that cloud with a drizzle of blueberry sauce was the blueberry on top of the pancake. The waitress was a sweetheart. Super nice and quick and attentive, but she never hovered. Plus, there's a bunch of military and law enforcement decor; back the blue (and blueberry pancakes).

Aly P.

Yelp
First thing to know... CASH ONLY! Breakfast was great, but we were a little frustrated when we went to pay. The cashier told us it's cash only, so one of us had to run to an ATM down the street. We still had an 8 hr car ride after that so it was an extra 15 minutes until we got on the road. On the way out I checked for a sign that says "cash only," you know something you would notice as you're entering an establishment. The only thing I found was something you would see upon exiting. The cinnamon roll was amazing, and the eggs/bacon were your standard tasty breakfast foods. Coffee was good too for only $.25.

Rd H.

Yelp
First and foremost .25 coffee! Stopped in for late breakfast after leaving Yellowstone. Food was incredible service was great.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and stop here! The breakfast was excellent. Homemade hash browns that are to die for. My dad had the biscuits and gravy and they were homemade as well. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table but it was well worth the wait. Coffee only $0.25 and it was good! They service was very friendly and all the servers came around to check on us. A+

Bill W.

Yelp
Arrived to find a line waiting to get in and guessed this must be pretty great food. Wasn't disappointed in the food. Typical small cafe with standard breakfast staples. Had the half. Hi Ken fried steak and found it to be tender hand battered steak. Country gravy was good and complimented the chicken fried steaks. Found the police patches on the wall a nice touch. They were from departments all over the USA. I left them one from Bakersfield Police (California)to add to their collection. Thanks for a great breakfast and would recommend them to everyone.

William P.

Yelp
Excellent local breakfast place , great food and service, good coffee. Five minute drive west towards Yellowstone

Mike M.

Yelp
We waited 25 minutes to get seated because of Covid-19 restrictions which we fully understood. Then we waited over 1/2 hour for our 1 cheeseburger. Our waiter came to us 20 minutes in to ask us what we had ordered. The food was fine, but our experience was not! People came in after us, ordered, ate, and left before we got our food. When the hostess asked how everything was, we told her how long we had waited, and she said "sorry" and sped off. The worst part was we felt like they could care less and it seemed to us that they were annoyed that we were upset.

L. L.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to give this place a go while we spent a quick visit to Cody. When we walked in, we were told it would be a 30 min, or less, wait. It turned out to be 45+ min. However, as annoying as that is, the rest of our visit was not to disappoint. The place was so cute with that "local" feel. The service was friendly and fast. Our food was spectacular. Best plate of steak and eggs I've ever had. Honestly, I'll be thinking about that for a while! Very great spot.

Roberta D.

Yelp
Great, homey restaurant- breakfast was delicious and the service was wonderful! This was a convenient stop on our way to Yellowstone.

Ronald B.

Yelp
When we visit Cody, Wy it's always great to find that this small restaurant is still the best place for breakfast in town. The service is spot on , the daily breakfast specials are good and the overall menu choices fro breakfast has enough variety to satisfy any of your favorites. We will be back a number of more times before our visit is over.

Kat V.

Yelp
Cute little spot we came across close to our hotel. Breakfast was delicious, we literally cleaned out our plate feeling full and satisfied. I almost forgot we had ordered a cinnamon roll based on reviews, I just to order one. Since we were full, I asked for a box to go. We took one bite just to try and ignored the fact we were full. It was soo delicious that we devoured the whole thing. Get the Cinnamon roll, it's a must and won't disappoint! The staff was very nice and friendly, so was the owner! Definitely will come back if I'm ever in town again.

David K.

Yelp
Regular breakfast spot. It is small so they require you to wait in your car. Standard breakfast fare.

Mike G.

Yelp
Great little hometown restaurant. We came here for lunch and left happy. The waitstaff were great, very friendly and nice. There are police and fire department patches covering one of the walls. We had the cinnamon roll and it was fantastic. The rest of breakfast was cooked perfectly, and tasted great!

Arelys F.

Yelp
This was our favorite breakfast spot during our Yellowstone trip. Service was great, fast and efficient. Everything felt home made and the bacon was really good.

Lavinia A.

Yelp
Wonderful breakfast and great service!!! Kids menu also great and coffee is really good as well! Biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've ever had!

Brad D.

Yelp
Great little place for breakfast. Locals and travelers alike dining here. Very friendly waitstaff. Our breakfast was awesome. I had scrambled eggs with hashbrowns, sausage, and a biscuit. I was tempted to lick the plate!

Michael M.

Yelp
If you are looking for Home Cooking in an old school breakfast restaurant this is the place. It is No Frills but everything is really good. I cannot give it 5 stars because it is not worthy of a five star restaurant but I did have a very good experience here.
