Our Tuscan Farm

Ah…how to encapsulate and convince the reader that visiting this beautiful piece of heaven on earth is every bit worthy of their time and vacation spend! Maybe the best way is to simply share that my experience last year; cooking, olive harvest, wine tasting & dinner with Shannon, Marco and their family captured me so deeply I had to return this year! Not only did we want to return but the love and pure grit they put into this business drove me to want to serve them even if for just a day of our vacation. We learned how important the industry needs true authentic growers. They care about every visitor. Shannon made arrangements for us at village close by to stay at, they welcomed us in their home for dinner with an amazing meal cooked by Barbara. We watched olives cared for so tenderly as they were harvested by hand in the fields; talk about hard and long days work! But the taste is like no comparison. Then when I made an odd request about needing “tile scraps” she even took me out to get me some! For a little girl back home who I promised some Tuscan treasures, similar to sea glass. All I can say is Our Tuscan Farm is in a class of their own and a Tuscany holiday will not be complete without a visit there. Marcos wine was such a sweet surprise because I’m not a red wine fan - so lovely! The Olive oil - absolute best and I’ve been trying a lot. Since finding theirs it’s all I use now and have it shipped to USA only now. Thanks Shannon and Marco for best days while we are there. See you next year!!!

“Our Tuscan Farm” was not just one of the most BEAUTIFUL places I saw in Tuscany but the welcome was warm, everyone is treated like family, the story is beautiful and the food, wine and olive oil were the best I’ve ever had. Being able to make your own pasta and then have it as a meal an hour later is just such a lovely experience. Shannon, Marco and Nonna Barbara make the entire experience so incredibly special and I think about it almost daily since being there. It’s a MUST to experience true Tuscan farm life.

Unbelievable & Unique—A Must-Do in Tuscany! Our experience with Our Tuscan Farm was unbelievable—truly a unique experience unlike any other. We booked the Wine & Olive Oil Tasting and Cooking Class, and it ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Shannon and her husband Marco made us feel so welcome—like we were part of the family. It genuinely felt like we were spending the evening at a friend’s house, which made the whole experience even more special. We started with a tour of their beautiful villa and learned all about the history of the home and how their family produces their wine and olive oil. Then came the cooking experience with Marco’s sweet mother, Nona, where we made homemade ravioli by hand. It was such a personal and authentic moment. Throughout the evening, Shannon took lots of great photos and videos so we’d have beautiful memories to take home with us. We ended the night on their terrace, where we enjoyed the dinner we had just made—served with their homemade wine, fresh olive oil, warm bread, and a lovely meat and cheese board. It was such a relaxed, magical setting. This was by far one of the best parts of our trip, and we’ll be recommending it to all of our friends and family. If you’re in Tuscany, this is an absolute must-do!

Would give Our Tuscan Farm 6 stars if I could! We visited over a year ago now, and it’s still the part of our trip we reminisce about the most. The definition of hospitable should have a photo of this family next to it. Shannon and Marco went far and above any expectations we had going into the experience - from welcoming us into their stunning historic home, teaching us about their olive oil production, putting us in the expert care of the lovely Nonna Barbara whose lesson has sparked our love for making fresh pasta at home, and then to enjoy the meal as though with old friends was absolutely incredible. The whole experience felt both authentically Tuscan, and authentically human, and was filled with memories that will stay with us forever. Book 👏🏻 this 👏🏻 experience 👏🏻 (or any of the ones they offer). To say you won’t regret it would be selling the experience short… You won’t be able to imagine your trip without it. We had an amazing afternoon with Shannon and Marco at Our Tuscan Farm. Delicious wine, snacks and olive oil. Shannon and Marco are both so welcoming. If you are in the Tuscany region, a stop here is a must!

I may be just a bit biased because this is my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. They, along with Marco’s parents and extended family have taken this beautiful place and put their mark on it. Sitting around the large table at dinner with family surrounding you and making you feel like you belong right there in that moment puts everything in place. Shannon and Marco have taken on the history not only of the Villa but the surrounding countryside. The olive oil that they produce is “Amazing”. The wine from their small vineyard will take you back there with every glass. I cherish my time there, helping with the olive harvest, getting the monthly shipments ready and watching the faces of visitors change from interest to full immersion after just a few minutes spent at the Tuscan Farm. It has and always will be a piece of my heart.

Wow what a special day! My son and I were on a mother son trip to Florence and this truly was a highlight of the trip. We did the half day experience. From the moment we arrived we felt like family. Shannon, Marco, nonna and their daughter Demi could not have been more lovely! My son had the best time playing with everyone and running around the farm. It truly is a magical special place and I hope I'll have the chance to return again.

This was a highlight of our trip to Italy! My family (6 of us) had private transportation from Florence to Tuscany for a cooking class and wine tasting. Shannon and Marco welcomed us, and we immediately felt at home. We loved spending the afternoon with them, hearing their story about their beautiful home and making wine, their olive trees and vineyards. Then Nona, Marco’s sweet mom, taught us to make homemade gnocchi. It was so authentic, and it was so much fun! We ate delicious food, drank delicious wine while sitting outside in their beautiful terrace with amazing scenery and could have stayed all night! You won’t be disappointed!
