Dear sirs, I have hiked on every continent (including Antarctica) and throughout the United States. Using that experience as a measure, I can safely say that the hiking in Ouray county is world class. We are fortunate to have so many wonderful, lightly traveled trails at a time when our National Parks are being overwhelmed with people. I want to thank your organization for producing the excellent Hiking Trails of Ouray County and for the trail maintenance you do.
