Ours Blanc Hotel & Spa

An unbeatable ski to door location. You step straight onto the slopes and ski right back to the hotel at the end of the day. Total convenience and luxury for any skier. The rooms are cozy, stylish, and very comfortable. The spa area is perfect after skiing, with a sauna and hammam to relax tired muscles. The food is excellent too, with delicious meals and a great atmosphere. Wonderful service, great comfort, and amazing access to the slopes. We would absolutely stay here again. ❄️⛷️

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place for a ski holiday in France. The ski-in / ski-out location is a huge advantage — being able to put on your skis and go straight onto the slopes, then ski back to the hotel, makes everything so easy and relaxed. After a day on the mountain, the spa area was perfect. The pool, sauna, and hammam are modern, clean, and very enjoyable. Breakfasts and dinners were a real highlight — generous buffet style with great variety and consistently excellent quality. There are also very cozy common areas: a games room, a large library, and quiet spaces where you can work, read, or just relax. The terrace deserves a special mention — having lunch there in the Alpine sun was one of our favorite moments of the trip. The hotel feels new and well cared for, from the ski room to the rooms themselves. Housekeeping was always done properly, and the small Christmas treats left in the room were a lovely and thoughtful touch. Just outside the hotel (about 20 meters away) there’s a bus stop that easily takes you either to larger ski areas or to the main shopping gallery. In the evenings, there was often live music and entertainment — we even caught a magician show, which was a fun surprise. Free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are available 24/7, which we really appreciated after skiing. One small tip: if you’re traveling via Geneva Airport, make sure to allow extra time for the return journey, as traffic and airport crowds can be heavy. Overall, everything felt easy, comfortable, and well organized. A truly high-quality hotel that we would happily return to.

This is a lovely hotel, with genuinely warm and welcoming staff. All areas are immaculately kept. Our standard room had a view down the valley over the bin store (not so nice). The rooms are bijou and could do with a more storage. Excellent shower- fantatic pressure and we loved the gorgeous Nuxe rive de miel shower gel and body lotion (no conditioner but apparently available from reception). We ran out and had shower with no shower gel as it wasn't noticed by housekeeping. I had to ask twice before it was topped up. Coffee and tea making in the room, but no milk, so it was herbal tea for us - the bar were very good about giving me cold milk to have with my Earl Grey. Bed superbly comfortable, lovely pillows and generous fluffy towels. Top marks for all of this. The breakfast and dinner buffets were generally very good and we never went hungry. However - I tried the pancake machine every day and it wasn't until day 4 that they emerged properly cooked (previous days they were raw). The staff were super helpful with my wine choice - and were totally ok that I didn't like the wine recommended (thank heavens at over 30 euros a bottle). The viognier from Languedoc was lovely. Wine from the bar was very expensive - 14 euros a glass meant that I waited until dinner mostly, as two glasses = 1 bottle, which is crazy. The barman was wonderful - helping me to find something for when I did indulge. Make sure you do the raclette and/or the fondue that is offered - it was a wonderful very special meal, thank you for allowing us to do this. 24 hour hot chocolate/coffee/tea etc was fantastic as was the still/fizzy water tap. I found the bar/library/restaurant to be cold - too cold to wear a nice shirt - jumpers needed. The outside restaurat area was so brightly lit it was like a canteen: the inner area so dark you could hardly see your food! We felt it was inappropriate to allow guests into the restaurant in their pyjamas and slippers. I just could not believe my eyes that a four star hotel would allow this and it wasn't a one off. Surely expecting people to wear clothing to dinner is a basic requirement? The pool in the spa was one thing I was really looking forward to. But it was just too cold to get into. We have an indoor pool we heat to 32-35 in the winter, this pool was only 29 degrees and therefore very few people used it. so disappointing. The sauna and steam room were excellent. Be aware - signs stating no children in the sauna and steam room were not enforced and kids were going in and out, reducing the temperature and annoying some of the guests (both were very busy). The ski/boot room was well laid out but could do with more seating - and a mirror so you can adjust your headwear/buff. There were extreme low temperatures and we needed to wear helmet liners/face covers - easier to get on/adjust correctly if there had been a mirror. Ski in/ski out tracks were actually quite tricky at the beginning of the week as they were very icy, but handy for Roc1 and Menuires, and when the snow came, we could ski right back to the ski room door on lovely fluffy powder. Excellent location and we made use of the free shuttle bus into Croisette. Our girls walked to La Mine and the sledging area there cross country with no issues. Overall, we had a lovely stay here and would very much recommend this hotel. It was very very good, and with few tweaks would be utter perfection in the snow. Wonderful hotel. Staying here two years in a row. Impeccable food, we had oysters, octopus and tuna on dinner , included in half-board. The location is wonderful for skiers. Will be back in future.

Where to start?! This hotel is simply amazing. From arrival, the staff was attentive, letting us know all the important timings for meals and the spa. The rooms themselves are simple but lovely. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean—the cleaning staff is superb! |It's hard to comment on ski-in/ski-out as we visited in the last few weeks of the season, but in terms of accessibility to the town and the slopes, Ours Blanc is in a great place. ||Highlights -|The food! You will not be disappointed by the food at ours blanc! The breakfast buffet has something for everyone, offering cooked breakfast, pastries, cheese/meat, yoghurt & fruit and even a pancake machine!||The Spa! We didn't pay for any extra treatments while visiting, but the pool, sauna and hammam were lovely. The outdoor pool has a spectacular view and is incredibly relaxing. ||The terrace! The terrace has a beautiful view and was warm in the April sun. You can order drinks & food to enjoy out there and the cocktails were superb.

We had a wonderful time. Skiing in the 3 Valleys is some of the best in Europe--endless pistes (30 km one day, and never the same lift). Ski in/out of the hotel made everything easy (along with the hotel's partnership to rent equipment). The twice daily buffet was well prepared, with great variety (good hearty fare), we never were left hungry. This is a hotel for families who are there to ski and enjoy each other's company. What sets Ours Blanc apart is the incredible staff: They were friendly and accommodating, not in the "fake-nice" European passive-aggressive way, but generally caring--glad to have you as a guest. Several times, the hotel staff went above and beyond what would be expected to accommodate my family. This is a hotel that people come back to year after year. The staff genuinely want you to be happy, and will do everything to make your time there better.

Exceptional Stay at Ours Blanc – Our Go-To Ski Destination This was our second stay at Ours Blanc, and it exceeded our expectations yet again. Here are the highlights: Seamless Transport Arrangements: The hotel arranged our taxi to/from Lyon airport and ensured it was rescheduled when our flight was delayed by two hours. Thoughtful Hospitality: Despite our late arrival, the staff set aside dinner plates for us and prepared a takeaway breakfast for our early morning departure. Convenient Ski Services: Their partnership with the ski rental company meant our shoes were delivered to the hotel on the first day after we collected our skis, and skis were collected from the hotel on our departure. Exceptional Dining: The variety and quality of food were outstanding, with delightful birthday surprises for celebrants. Relaxing Pool and Spa: The heated pool, extending outdoors, and the tranquil spa area were perfect for unwinding after skiing. Ideal Location: The ski-out option and proximity to slopes make it perfect for skiers of all levels. The ski bus also stops right outside the hotel. Family-Friendly Amenities: The library, games room, and cozy nooks were a hit with the children, as were the entertainers, including talented singers and a magician making balloon animals. Comfortable Rooms: Spacious and well-equipped with coffee pods, robes, slippers, and free movies—everything for a relaxing stay. Thoughtful Extras: Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and sparkling water available in the foyer at all times. Atmosphere & Convenience: The ski room with boot heaters, the roaring fire in the lounge, and the quiet, relaxed ambiance made our evenings magical. Exceptional Staff: Every member of the team was helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. We love everything about Ours Blanc and can’t wait to return. It has become our go-to annual ski destination—thank you for another wonderful experience!

The Ours Blanc hotel is a brilliant hotel, comfortable and welcoming with a delightful staff team. The arrangements for skiing are as good as they get. Well located boot room with easy access to the piste and lifts below. Each locker has heated boot pegs. The bedroom is comfortable and well laid out with good storage arrangements and pegs for coats. There are a number of different interesting/comfortable social spaces to relax and meet fellow skiers, with usual bar and free hot drinks machine with nearby fizzy and still water on tap. There are some nice spaces for kids to chill out too. The occasional afternoon cake and pre dinner musical or magical moments were delightful. |There were occasions when the restaurant could have been led and managed more efficiently. |Would recommend.
