It’s a decent option if you choose to visit Uluru area for 2-3 days.
✅ Decent, clean, and spacious rooms, equipped with a kettle, tea, and coffee — exactly what you expect as standard accommodation in Australia.
✅ The beds are large, with good-quality mattresses, comfortable after a long day exploring the area.
☕️ There is a small terrace in the back courtyard, suitable for having a morning coffee or relaxing in the evening.
📺 The smart TV in the room is not particularly “smart” in practice, with limited functionality and few options.
🍴A major advantage is the food availability, given how remote the area is.
There is a fast-food outlet on site, open from lunchtime until 9:30 pm, offering options such as fish & chips and chicken schnitzel.
This is worth considering, as dining alternatives in the area are very limited.
🍔🍟🍺 The hotel also features a bar with a beer-garden style terrace, as well as the only bottle shop in the area. Alcohol can be purchased only for in-room consumption and only with a passport.
🥩 Additionally, there is a well-set-up BBQ area with multiple grills, where you can cook your own meat purchased from the nearby butcher. They even sell kangaroo sausages and emu steak, which makes for an interesting local experience.
⛱️ They also have a fairly large swimming pool, with sun loungers and umbrellas available for guests.
🚰 Next to the fast-food kiosk, there is a public and free cold filtered water station, which is very useful given the climate.
🍳 Breakfast is quite expensive, around $40–45 per person. We chose to skip it.
