Outbound Stowe appears to be a newer hotel in Stowe from what I read online. They are motel-style, but also have little private cabins that are lined up in the back of the property.
I stayed in the Double Queen bed, handicap accessible room. It was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable.
I found that they didn't have a lot of functional things in the room. There weren't a lot of places to hang up towels. They didn't give the usual hotel toiletries like the shower caps, cotton swabs, makeup remover wipes, etc. They did have an electric kettle in the room and a little tray where they had some tea bags, hot coco packets, and an ice bucket. I couldn't find the other amenities from the other review like the noise machine.
We only went to the main building to check in and check out, but I did see the hot coffee station and the gift shop. I didn't use either of these. I did, however, enjoy the complimentary smores one night when I had a sweet tooth. They put the kits out by the restaurant on site and there were two fire pits with a few chairs. I wish they had more, smaller fire pits so it could be a more private experience. (The people sitting at the fire pit didn't seem to appreciate when we asked if we could use the fire for smores.) The fire pits are also by an inground pool and a hot tub. The pool had signage that said it was closed, but they did not cover the pool. I'm not sure if the hot tub was open and I didn't see anyone use it during my stay.
The WiFi was abysmal, which really was inconvenient because my boyfriend and I did not get great cell service for the entire trip. We were really relying on WiFi when we went to different businesses to plan things and make reservations. Because WiFi was not great at the hotel, some functions of the TV were unusable.
These could be growing pains for the hotel if they are a newer business in Stowe, so hopefully they continue to grow and improve because the location is great and the foundation of a great hotel is definitely there!
