I had my eye on this spot knowing we’d be traveling to Floyd this weekend. They just reopened for the season on Friday! We got lucky. It was everything I was hoping for. Beautiful outdoor space with other covered areas. Delicious food and friendly folks.

Super friendly, but the portion size of my bowl was ridiculously small. Food tasted fine. Fun atmosphere. It’s a self help place framed as a @you order at the counter and then we’ll take care of you,” which can’t happen as that requires end to end table service with an open tab.

It was absolutely outstanding. The 3 taco meal with chicken was amazing. I don't eat guacamole but I do now. Absolutely wonderful food great service. If you're in Floyd, VA you need to stop by and enjoy the awesome food. Simply the best.

Wow! what a cool place with amazing nachos. I mean a heap of nachos to say the least. We came to Floyd Va. to hear friends place at Outerspace & loved the eclectic, artsy place. 2 amazing cats walk around outside that are really sweet if you need a cat fix! Worth the 2 hour drive to such yummy vegetarian food but if you want barbecue that is also available at another restaurant (food truck)

This place is a slice of Hippie Heaven with a serious BBQ option. PERFECT! The unconventional layout replete with a psychedelic school bus and small stage harkens back to the daze when real hippies roamed the earth. The food is fresh, well prepared with ample portions. Best of all this place reminds of my day's touring with the Grateful Dead and communing with fellow misfits in all manners of adventure and merriment! Thank you OuterSpace!!
