I can confidently say this was the BEST breakfast experience I had during my whole trip to Scotland. From the moment I walked in, the place had such a warm, welcoming vibe. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food… absolutely unforgettable! Every bite was perfectly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The portions were generous, and the coffee was just how I like it (which is rare!). Whether you’re starting a long day of exploring or just looking for a cozy, satisfying morning meal, this spot is a must-visit. Truly a highlight of my trip! Sal & Mo 🥰

We loved it here!! The food was INCREDIBLE. We each got something different: soup, scrambled eggs on toasts, porridge. All the food and drinks were reasonably priced + the coffee was delicious! The atmosphere was great as well and the staff were lovely. We’d easily come back!

Cracking cafe in the east of the city centre. The beef shin, fennel jam and cheese toastie was off the scale excellent. The scrambled egg on sourdough was also brilliant. The cafe has a very good atmosphere with a youngish customer base. Having said that, not being a youngster myself, I felt perfectly at home there. Very reasonably priced too. The service was very friendly while not 100% attentive. Definitely worth a visit and I plan on returning.

Great spot with a truly delicious food. The waiters were not super friendly but the food makes up for it. So my 5 out of 5 goes to the chefs, and my 3 out of 5 goes to the waiters :) also, prices are really reasonable

Finally I was able to try something in this place! In the past, every time I came here, desserts I wanted to try were sold out. It’s a busy place, and I can see why. They have different pastries/desserts every day, and there are vegan options too. I had a beef toastie and a burnt cheese cake and both were super delicious! If you wanna feel like you are abroad - I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful space and cozy vibes! The coffee was amazing! Unfortunately, they don’t offer a lot of gluten free options. The very friendly waitress suggested that I’d try the smoked mackerel kedgeree (the only gf dish they had) and it was DIVINE! 100% recommend! Everything on the menu sounds delicious, so I’d love to try it with some gf bread. It would be amazing if that would become available in the future.

The sausage roll was so delicious and filling! 🤤 I could eat this all the time. The apple 🍎 juice was so cute and refreshing!

Really cool place with great music and a beautiful interior. The food’s tasty, and the coffee’s very decent — no surprise it gets pretty busy. The open kitchen’s a nice touch and everything feels fresh. Loads of cakes and pastries to choose from. That said, it’s a bit disappointing they charge extra for milk alternatives and that there aren’t more vegan options. Overall, this is a great place with probably the trendiest run club in town.
