I was up from London and was told to visit here Really cute cafe meets restaurant. Love the aesthetic, exposed brick, nice interior and open kitchen so you can see everyone at work Came by myself but will come back when I'm next here because the menu bangs! Quality food with attention to detail. I got the Jerusalem artichoke soup with sourdough and a side of scrambled eggs + house smoked mackerel Soup was delicious, rich but not overpowering! Overall experience was good. Loved the vibes, will definitely come again

Not just your average bunch spot/cafe- the food was simply delicious. We had the beef shin toastie and scrambled egg and mushrooms on sourdough as well as an almond croissant. The flavours were top notch. It was really busy even on a late Wednesday afternoon. Cool space and atmosphere. Already looking forward to returning and trying more of their menu.

Tried Outlier on a Saturday night and though it's a well known place for breakfast and lunch I'd never been and was going in blind as to what to expect from the food. Well I was absolutely blown away, this was easily one of the best meals I've had for years. Chicken fat oysters and potato bread to get things going were amazing. The bread tasted like it was just out of the oven and the oyster with chicken fat was rich and salty. The BBQ cabbage was one of the best things I've eaten in a very long time, how they're getting that much flavour in to a vegetable dish is a real skill. The bass dish was like a ceviche, popping with citrus flavours and loaded generously with cured fish, it was amazing. The cod dish with horseradish cream sauce was also incredible with lots of flaky cod and a sauce that's so good you want to just drink it straight from the jug. The chef was also kind enough to send over the BBQ leek with sambal dish to try and it was also really good and absolutely packed with flavour from the sambal and a slight smoky char from the leeks. The cheese waffle with honey was the perfect end to the meal, soft gooey cheese with a sweetness from the honey and the lightest waffle I've ever had. It's byob so next time will definitely take a bottle of wine in but they have a good choice of soft drinks and coffees too. The service was excellent and the tunes were superb creating a cool atmosphere. One of the coolest restaurants in Glasgow at the moment and one of the most talented kitchens in the city for sure.

My favourite cafe in Glasgow. Own baked pastries that are properly cooked, giving colour and flavour. The savoury dishes are always full of great balanced, interesting flavours and the portion sizes are great. The coffee has a great rich flavour too. It's always busy, but the turnover of tables is steady, so you never need to wait long. Well run, with good staffing levels and the team are friendly and helpful.

Toasties are really good. I ordered beef chin and leek with cheese. Coffee is average but so many people ordered takeover and the queue was around 10 mins when it's crowded. The cleanliness is one of the concern if you're hygienic, the bakery are placed at a little lower towards knee-height by the counter, but they are really good and freshly baked.

Waited 20 mins for a table (no issues) but waited over half an hour for our 2 drinks (unacceptable). Staff lacked friendliness, giving off the vibe 'We're too cool to work here and too cool to be anything other than aloof with you. You'll get your order when we're ready because we're cool and you're not". That aside, the food was phenomenal. If you can put up with the former, you'll not be disappointed with the latter.

Stumbled upon this great place while exploring Glasgow! Very friendly and welcoming staff although it was very busy. Had the best scrambled egg and oyster mushroom on toast, perfectly seasoned! I’m not usually a fan of rhubarb, but that frangipane changed my mind! ♥️

Went there for dinner and picked up some pastries and coffee for breakfast and lunch 2 days in a row and everything was epic each time!! Service is wonderful, everyone is so kind and helpful. Open kitchen where you can see the master chef doing his thing. Really lovely cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back to taste every dish next time I’m in Glasgow!
