I spent an my amazing week at Outpost Ubud Penestanan. The location was perfect, at night you can sleep in peace. The room is nice, the bed is comfy. The staff are exceptional and friendly. They have a co working space on the roof open 24 hours, a lounge area where you can meet other travellers like you and they also do a lot of activities, like cinema, yoga etc… They also have a watsapp group where people staying there can communicate together and go out together. And there’s a common kitchen and a pool. I also loved that there were several vegan restaurant around it and one of them is litteraly seconds walks from the reception. The location is wow. Perfect for solo travelers and for couples as well. I will definitely come only here in the future and I very very highly recommend it to you. Thank you so much Erin, Maha, Wika and the others for this amazing experience.

The staff are amazing, all the reception staff were phenomenal, all of them. Very responsive and very helpful. Very accommodating and made me feel so welcomed and made sure I got everything I needed. The hotel rooms are not luxurious but great to stay in , clean and simple. You get free access to the coworking space and that really made my stay easier as I can get some emails and work done easily in a dedicated workspace. The kitchen facilities are also good and makes life easier. Great staff indeed

Place is great, I got upgraded to a better room, so nice, so big. The pool is really good too, the service is nice, super friendly and helpful. I did not stay there to work but the coworking space seems nice. Only thing is that I was very close to the shared kitchen and early on the morning (5:30/6am) people were chatting and it woke me up. Would still recommend!

I couldn’t sleep because other white guests were drinking and talking in the shared kitchen between 3 and 4 AM. That alone would’ve been fine, but it’s disappointing that even after calling the front desk to ask them to intervene and sending two WhatsApp messages, there was no response. I really liked the hotel itself, so it’s a letdown right at the end.

Outpost Ubud has been an incredible find for me. The coworking space is thoughtfully designed and ideal for both deep focus and creative flow. The WiFi is fast and reliable even on video calls, and the mix of quiet AC zones and open air balconies means I could choose the right vibe for work. The staff was always welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Outpost Ubud. The place feels very authentic, with beautiful rooms, a calm atmosphere, and excellent, caring service. What made it especially meaningful for me was the support I received while doing my Yoga Teacher Training next door. Even though my days were full, the Outpost team continued to be incredibly helpful and supportive — something I deeply appreciated. The people are simply wonderful. I especially fell in love with Leni’s warm and kind presence — she made my stay feel personal and truly special. The location is perfect, right next to Alchemy, and you can reach Ubud center in less than 5 minutes by scooter, which makes it both peaceful and very convenient. A place you don’t just stay at, but truly feel at home. Highly recommended.

I planned to stay just one night but ended up staying almost a week! The rooms are nice, but what really impressed me was the amazing service — especially from Maha, Erin, Leni, Dwita, and Wika at the reception. They always greeted me by name and helped me with everything, even though my English isn’t perfect. The place feels magical, perfectly located, and you even get discounts at Alchemy Yoga and other spots. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back! ❤️

Honestly, the location is amazing. I’m vegan and they have everything at Alchemy right next door where you can have 10% off. The room is so comfortable. I stayed in the suite which had a bath and one of the biggest bath I’ve ever had. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for everything it’s giving. When I checked out, I was supported by Maha and Dwita. They were so kind and helpful.
