Beautiful place. Reminds me of Melrose place 😻 always wanted to stay somewhere like that. Cleaning of the room is done every day if you want it but it could be way better then it is. They should work on this part. Communication with the people working is perfect. Very cute girls at the reception. Location is perfect. Yoga center just across the street

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at Outpost Ubud Penestanan as a solo traveler and absolutely loved it. Perfect for co-working and vacation — I could get my work done in a productive, inspiring space, then step out and enjoy everything Ubud has to offer. The location is ideal: walkable to cafes, shops, and yoga studios, yet in a more peaceful part of town away from the busiest streets. Scenic garden pathways across the street make a great little shortcut to more shops, cafes, and restaurants. Everyone at the front desk was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which made me feel instantly welcome. The vibe is warm, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the area feels safe and inviting. Highly recommend for anyone wanting the best mix of work, play, and tranquility in Ubud.

It was an amazing experience living at Outpost Ubud Penestanan. It was a pity that I couldn't join more community events which the staff have carefully curated for the guests. The location is perfect for anyone looking to explore Ubud. The service is tremendously good and I couldn't ask for a better place to stay at, for my first time in Ubud!

This is a fantastic location in Penestanan behind alchemy restaurant and across from the yoga centre. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is a great place to stay for some peace and quiet and easy to catch a motorbike taxi into Busy Ubud for more restaurants and shopping

The location, 24/7 desk, yoga space, beautiful pool, and co-working space were great. Only 10 min walk to the Campuhan Ridge walk and right in front of Alchemy Yoga. The rooms however....I originally booked the least expensive room and had no choice but to upgrade from how dark and smelly my first room was. The room I upgraded to had more light but still smelled of old towels, no matter how many times housekeeping came. I made sure to keep my bathroom door closed 24/7 to help with the smell but honestly nothing would help especially bc it's not like I could leave a window open or something. I believe due to the room's smell, this place is overpriced. Overall, it was worth the pain of the room for the one week I was there.

Simple room, nice, clean and comfortable. Service was amazing, everyone was so welcoming, smiling all the time, I had an issue with the hot water in my room which was resolved straight away, I was provided with some plasters for a cut I had on my foot. Location is great too, I love the coffee at BGS, the food at Alchemy, La Luz around the corner, Zest and Cantina a short walk away. Would definitely come back.

Outpost Ubud Penestanan was clean and cozy, with comfortable rooms and peaceful surroundings that made it easy to unwind. The free Wi-Fi was strong throughout the property, which was super convenient. I especially loved the warm, welcoming vibe and the great mix of people staying there—it felt like an instant community. I'd definitely come back for the comfort, connection, and laid-back energy

Nice place, staff is friendly. But I was hoping for more interactions with other digital nomads. There is a lunch once a week for that and yoga on Mondays but that is pretty much it. I would have expected a daily happy hour where people could mix in the evenings but they don't sell alcohol on site. Everyone pretty much keeps their head down working here. Hard to meet people. There is a major ant problem all over the hotel, co working, in the rooms, the balconies. If there is any food anywhere they will be on it in 5 minutes (including your trash can). Hundreds of them. Some are red ants which swarmed my feet 2x there and were biting me. The coworking is not included and an extra cost. The hotel itself was a bit pricey. A few restaurants in walking distance but you need grab or a scooter to get into town. Overall I was disappointed.
