Wonderful family time at Outrigger. We spent a week at the resort with kids age 7 and 5. We were made to feel so welcome by everyone working at the resort and the facilities for kids were fantastic - the kids area of the pool was exceptional and felt very safe. |Choice of restaurants were wonderful and the kids ate free! We had some fabulous meals. The adults only pool area was also a really nice escape. |The most wonderful part for us was the childcare. The kids club and the Mei Mei service were wonderful and looked after our two exceptionally well. We felt completely secure leaving them and they had so much fun meeting lots of other children and doing the activities. |Everyone was wonderful but special mention to Miriana our wonderful MeiMei whom the kids didn’t want to leave! Truly a wonderful woman. And Maria our Talai butler who learnt all our names and was so wonderful every day. And Manasa up at the sunset bar who took the time to chat and get to know us and tell us all about his life and family. |And just to mention Dengue - we were worried given the outbreak but we didn’t see a single mosquito or get a single bite - the resort have been exceptional at pest control to help with this.|We will definitely be back - Sota Tale!

Fantastic place with a lot of activities including snorkeling, kayaking, Zumba, coral planting and heaps more. They have an in hotel app to sort your logistics with. Waking to the ocean breeze and view is breath-taking! Rates are affordable for locals and tourists alike and they feed you like royalty! Gym is well equipped and the adult pool is such a nice and quiet place to relax. The porters are the best one can find and the friendliest:- I recommend "Jone" stroking all with the best humour on arrival!

Lovely stay at Outrigger resort. LOVED the quiet adults only area. Excellent food all around. Previous reviews state concern about the service. Service was slow and mistakes were made. However, the Fijian people take life at a slower pace and taking time to breathe in the sea air and enjoy the moment is actually very refreshing. Yes, some drinks and meals came slowly. But we loved the authentic feel, cheerful (and sometimes loud!) BULA!! and smiles all around. The spa here is a bit pricey, but there is a local option that offers transfers- Sigatoka Garden Spa. My husband and I spent a blissful morning there. Outrigger is a great location with a short taxi ride to Sigatoka town (great for shopping for Fiji-style dresses and shirts!). There are taxis always around and the reception will arrange transport for you. Highly recommended for families or couples. This place caters for everyone!

The updated rooms are excellent. Very friendly staff. Wifi coverage all over resort. Resort itself is well set up, but starting to feel quite dated all over. The service was a big frustration for us though unfortunately. You order a drink, it takes ages. You ask for a high chair, it generally never came. Countless mistakes with good orders. Overall, a good family option. We had a nice time, but would probably try another option next time.

First time in Fiji, you have to stay at the outrigger the rooms, service, food and location is beyond perfect. We stayed for a wedding, it was very cheap for what you receive, it was amazing. We had a good package but NOT a beverage package, both are very worth it and are a must for longer stays. The resort is very family friendly, with a waterslide, large pool, daily activities and massive reef for snorkeling and water rec/sport. The staff are very friendly and care for every person that enters the resort and are amazing people. The rooms have a very authentic feel, are spacious (I was in a party of 4) even though you won't spend too much time in them. There is a golf driving range, paintball and archery on site as well as events where you can learn the history and culture of Fiji and its surrounding islands. The food at outrigger is perfect, every meal is made with so much care, the meat especially is amazing and all courses of the day have much variety. You do have to remember that you are on Fiji time where, No hurry, No worries, so take your time and don't expect your service or events to be on time and fast all the time, after all you are in paradise, so slow down and put your feet up. I am here for 8 days and every moment has been amazing. Definately take time to learn about the staff and learn a bit about them as you spend alot of time experiencing catering and activities with them, they are amazing people. Over 18 area is available, large pool, lap pool, massage, bars, restaurant and other facilities are available for all adults only. There is a kids club and nannies available that take extreme good care of the little ones. The adult only area is always really quiet and is surprisingly such a large area in a very quiet section of the resort. Was a great stay, still so much more positives about the resort But 10 out of 5 stars.

Our room was decent size, nice bathroom, at times a little thin walled as we could hear the family next door. The staff are lovely and helpful, the restaurants were nice and the kids loved snorkeling in reef straight off the beach. We had a great holiday

I had such a wonderful time staying at the Outrigger. Staff were amazing and friendly. I just want to give a big shout to to Shital in the spa. She went about and beyond. I had so many massages and facials with her during my stay and she went above and beyond 110% to ensure my experience was the best it could of possibly been.

Outrigger was the 1st week of our family holiday and while it’s quite expensive, particularly if you choose the all inclusive option, it’s well worth it.||The staff were amazing, everyone is incredibly friendly and unbelievably good at remembering names and room numbers. The food is incredible, particularly the Rib Eye steak at the Sundowner.||Kids club was well run although they split the group by ages which was difficult for us with one child younger than 8 and 3 in the older age group. ||The kids loved the main pool with the water slide and inflatable water park.||The beach is ok but you need to have reef shoes, it’s also very tidal so it’s not really useable all day.||If I were picking any faults it would be the main pool needs more music around it to help with the atmosphere during the day and the age groups at kids club but that’s really about it.||Well worth a visit but pretty expensive
