OUTRIGGER Surin Beach Resort

We stayed at the hotel for over a week with our five-month-old daughter and were more than satisfied. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and very diverse. We also dined at the restaurant one evening and had the Mango Rice – it was amazing. Nowhere else in Thailand have we had such delicious cocktails, and we've traveled quite a bit here two years ago. Our daughter fell in love with the staff member Juice, and we will definitely be coming back in the next few years.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort and were truly impressed by the level of service and attention to detail from the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine smiles, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.||One particular moment that stood out was when we needed transport to a nearby restaurant. Without hesitation, the staff offered to arrange a taxi for us, making the process smooth and effortless. It’s these small gestures that really reflect the quality of the hospitality here.||The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere that lets you fully unwind. Whether we were lounging by the pool, walking through the gardens, or just enjoying the view, everything felt calm and comfortable. The vibe throughout the property is chilled and friendly, and every team member we interacted with was helpful and kind.||Overall, we felt genuinely cared for during our stay. It’s rare to find a place that balances great facilities with such personal service, but this resort manages to do exactly that. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be recommending it to friends and family without hesitation!

Had an amazing 3 nights at this resort in the plunge pool room! Room size was good and the plunge pool was a good for a quick dip during rainy days. Location was super, just a few steps to the peaceful surin beach. Not a lot of activities and shops around as compared to kata but it's really a good place for a quiet retreat. Nala restaurant was amazing - we had both in room dining and at the restaurant itself and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Breakfast was pretty standard stuff but I loved the watermelon slush 😂. Huge shout-out and thanks to the staff for accommodating not one but two surprises by my partner and I for each other (we were not aware of each other's surprises lol). I would say they went over and beyond for our requests! So, many thanks for the efforts!!! Some things to improve might be to add on water filters for the showers and bathtubs. And also full length mirrors in the room, and also one more sofa/armchair for the rooms. Oh and maybe change to a waterproof cover for the outdoor sofa cos it was raining everyday when I was there and the outdoor sofa was perpetually wet so we couldn't enjoy the seating while using the plunge pool. But overall 10/10 for the resort! Totally recommend outrigger surin to anyone considering this resort.

Reviewing the hotel in isolation, very nice, staff very friendly, it was clean and modern. Food in the restaurant was very very good, both for evening dinner and also for breakfast buffet. Room we had overlooked the smaller swimming pool. Room was a good size, however lacked a decent amount of hanging and drawer space. ||HOWEVER......|The area the hotel sits in really let's the whole experience down massively. I know it's not the hotel's fault, but it's located on the opposite side of a fairly busy road to the beach. Walking down the road into town is an 'experience', given the lack of a pavement/side walk.||Hotel is not located within sight of the beach, so you have to cross the road then traverse what can only be described as one of the most depressing approaches to a beach I've come across in my extensive travels! It's a derelict expanse of car park/construction site leading to a very disappointing beach area. The beach itself is dirty, with the whole high water mark an accumulation of plastic bottles, debris etc which has been washed up. ||In summary, nice hotel, very disappointing area. Certainly not the 'beachfront' experience we were expecting!!

Extremely good value for money and the staff are the most welcoming especially the security guard at the front of the property. The hotel itself is fairly modern and kept clean daily however quite small. It is about 4 mins walk to the beach front but quite a small beach also. I would like to see more attention paid to the bed sheets and the food in the restaurant is a little expensive but good quality. Two pools and a gym at the property and was very quiet and peaceful when I went, if you’re looking for a quiet retreat then definitely recommend as quite far out from the bar streets although reachable by grab or motorbike. Highly Recommend for couples or families looking for quieter stays… maybe not too great for children

This is a brilliant resort. It is a mid sized resort meaning that it has fabulous facilities but also very personable service. The location is amazing as it over the road from the beach but is close to restaurants and shops. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The service is the standout aspect of this resort and we will definitely be back to both Surin Beach and this resort.

So happy we chose to stay at Outrigger on our trip to Phuket. The price is very reasonable for the area and offers excellent value for money. Rooms are comfortable and stylish, the pools are set back in a calm inviting space, food and drink were delicious and the hot felt fresh. Breakfast and service were 5 star (the manager, Guide, made sure we were happy with our stay and everyone without exception made us feel welcome). Would definitely stay again. Thank you Outrigger!

We stayed in the Plunge Pool room at Outrigger Surin and loved it. The room was cozy and modern, and having our own private pool was such a bonus—perfect for a quick dip any time of day. It felt peaceful and private, which made it super relaxing. The bed was comfy, the AC worked well, and the overall vibe of the resort was laid-back. Great spot for a quiet escape, just a short walk to Surin Beach too. Would definitely stay here again.
