OUTRIGGER Surin Beach Resort

This hotel is nestled away in Surin bay about a 2 minutes walk from the beach. The room was comfortable and spacious and we felt very at home there. There are 2 public pools which we did visit though we spent much of our time in the private room pool. The gym was also good; basic but met our needs. Breakfast was amazing and we were spoilt for choice. The Thai ice teas we had every morning were excellent and a must try. Finally the staff offered an exceptional level of hospitality. They were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. They were supportive of our needs and requests and were very professional. This is a 5star hotel and worth every penny.

We stayed in the resort for 3 nights. Overall our stay was beautiful. We got upgraded and stayed in the suite. While everything was lovely I felt the rooms lacked finishing and maintenance. The hand shower didn't work well and looked old. Barring this all was good. The pool is clean and we'll maintained. The restaurant is good and staff is friendly and accommodating. Surin beach is right across and easy to get to. The resort is well situated with a lot of other shops, restaurants and salons around.

I stayed at the Outrigger Surin Beach Resort for a week inbetween travels. I wanted a quiet place to relax and I definitely was able to do this. |The resort is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (7am - 11am) was delicious & alot of variety, As the resort is smaller than many the service was very personalised, the service staff are so accommodating and kind, I was looking forward to going to see them every morning! |The hotel also has a spa (very relaxing with 30% off voucher given for my first treatment) and also they have an app where you can order room service and speak directly to the staff via chat which was great too. |Location is quieter than the busier areas (patong etc, 30min taxi ride) but I really liked this. Beach is a short walk away across the road and there's a town just around the corner 5min walk with pharmacies, 7/11, coffee shop etc. |If you are looking for a relaxing stay in Phuket I'd strongly recommend this place. Thank you all, I really enjoyed my stay and felt safe and comfortable, I hope to come back sometime in the future! :)

We stayed at the hotel for over a week with our five-month-old daughter and were more than satisfied. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and very diverse. We also dined at the restaurant one evening and had the Mango Rice – it was amazing. Nowhere else in Thailand have we had such delicious cocktails, and we've traveled quite a bit here two years ago. Our daughter fell in love with the staff member Juice, and we will definitely be coming back in the next few years.

My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a balcony that added a touch of luxury. The pool area was a quiet oasis, perfect for unwinding after a beach stroll.What makes this resort especially convenient is its proximity to local shops and restaurants—all within walking distance. You can grab a bite or do a bit of shopping without needing a taxi. Despite being so close to everything, the resort maintains a calm, intimate vibe.Overall, Outrigger Surin Beach Resort is a hidden gem for travelers seeking tranquility without sacrificing convenience. I highly recommend it for couples, solo travelers, or anyone wanting to experience the more relaxed side of Phuket.

Had an amazing 3 nights at this resort in the plunge pool room! Room size was good and the plunge pool was a good for a quick dip during rainy days. Location was super, just a few steps to the peaceful surin beach. Not a lot of activities and shops around as compared to kata but it's really a good place for a quiet retreat. Nala restaurant was amazing - we had both in room dining and at the restaurant itself and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Breakfast was pretty standard stuff but I loved the watermelon slush 😂. Huge shout-out and thanks to the staff for accommodating not one but two surprises by my partner and I for each other (we were not aware of each other's surprises lol). I would say they went over and beyond for our requests! So, many thanks for the efforts!!! Some things to improve might be to add on water filters for the showers and bathtubs. And also full length mirrors in the room, and also one more sofa/armchair for the rooms. Oh and maybe change to a waterproof cover for the outdoor sofa cos it was raining everyday when I was there and the outdoor sofa was perpetually wet so we couldn't enjoy the seating while using the plunge pool. But overall 10/10 for the resort! Totally recommend outrigger surin to anyone considering this resort.

My three kids and I were guests in the hotel for a week. The hotel was great. The staff was wonderful - very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were tasty and offered a variety of options. |The hotel area is very peaceful and its location is very close to a beutiful beach.|We enjoyed our vacation a lot.

After getting off to a rather tricky beginning to our first holiday to thailand including cancelled flights and chaos in the middle east Outrigger in surin beach was the most welcome destination. Unfortunately on the day of check in i fell very ill but the team at check in were very extremely conscientious and helpful and even facilitated a visit from a local doctor and referral to the main hospital in Phuket. Peter, Golf and all of the staff from housekeeping to reception made us feel at home during every moment of our stay. After making a good recovery from said illness the remainder of our two week stay was incredible. Any query we had was swiftly answered and the local knowledge of all the staff helped us find our way around the island. Outrigger Surin Beach will not disappoint you, it’s a little slice of heaven. Thank you once again to all the staff who made our stay memorable!
