OUTRIGGER Surin Beach Resort

Luckily we found Outrigger after searching the usual beach hotels. I specifically was looking for high feedback ratings, reasonable prices and proximity to a nice beach. The place was perfect for us: peaceful area opposite the quiet Surin beach with a good selection of restaurants, shops and massage places where you would want to visit again and again. On our last day we walked to the longer Bang Tao beach which was also very pleasant. On the island tour we passed by the popular resorts and were happy that we selected Surin! As to the resort experience, we had stayed at Outrigger in Fiji many years ago and remember that well. It is not easy to get satisfaction ratings of 10 and we weren’t disappointed. The staff are ever so helpful and cheery, the design of the building is unique and inspiring, restaurant has good variety of breakfasts every day. We also tried the massage. There is a taxi stand opposite so it’s easy to travel around. I was surprised there weren’t any insect problems as i was expecting that in a tropical climate. Wifi was great! So HIGHLY recommended if you want a peaceful break in a friendly area. Just sitting on the beach, in the shade, all day long was super-special. The water wad slightly on the rough side but enjoyable none the less. We would visit here again, love it!!

Amazing hotel with beautiful pool area with lots of seating around it. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfy. Our room did however look out to a wooden frame to block the view of the building behind which meant not a lot of light came in. Staff are friendly and welcoming and room service was quick. Breakfast didn't have much variety but still good. Would definitely come back.

I had a really wonderful stay at this hotel!|From the moment I arrived, every staff member even the security guards and maintenance team, greeted me with a warm smile. This kind of culture is rare and made me feel truly welcomed and valued.||The hotel is also very convenient. Everything was easy to manage, whether through the hotel app or the bedside control panel.||Compliments to the front office manager, Guide. He was always professional, friendly, and ready to help. He never missed a chance to greet me, and during checkout he kindly helped carry my heavy luggage to the car.||One small suggestion: since the hotel is so close to the beach, it would be great to have a water faucet or washing area near the entrance. After coming back from the beach, I found the only place to clean my shoes was behind the pool bar near the toilets, which felt a bit narrow. A more spacious area for guests to rinse off sand would make the experience even better.||Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’m so glad I chose Outrigger Surin for my first trip to Phuket.|Highly recommended!

One of the best hotel, lovely, friendly staff. Room clean and big, we had double floor room. Nice food. Clean swimming pool. Beach is few minutes away from hotel. To cross the road you have Security guy who stops traffic and you can safely cross the road. |One problem was there,dirty beach. Wish government could look after there's beach better. Broken bottles, a lot of plastic and other rubbish

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were always friendly, warm, and attentive, making the holiday atmosphere even more enjoyable. Every request was handled promptly and with care.The restaurant, though not large, offered a great variety of delicious breakfast options. The servers quickly remembered our dining preferences and provided excellent, friendly service.The hotel also responded quickly and thoughtfully to sudden changes, such as unexpected weather or when assistance was needed during check-out. Even before asking, staff were always ready to help.Overall, the hotel has a very welcoming and harmonious atmosphere. We truly loved our stay here.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a good experience. The room was spacious and very well-maintained, feeling both aesthetically pleasing and clean. This is a lovely, small boutique hotel located in a quiet area, which is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. While the pool is quite small, it is meticulously designed and adds to the charm. The real highlight, however, was the exceptional personal service. The staff was incredibly pleasant and genuinely made our stay so pleasant.

This hotel is nestled away in Surin bay about a 2 minutes walk from the beach. The room was comfortable and spacious and we felt very at home there. There are 2 public pools which we did visit though we spent much of our time in the private room pool. The gym was also good; basic but met our needs. Breakfast was amazing and we were spoilt for choice. The Thai ice teas we had every morning were excellent and a must try. Finally the staff offered an exceptional level of hospitality. They were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. They were supportive of our needs and requests and were very professional. This is a 5star hotel and worth every penny.
