OUTRIGGER Surin Beach Resort

The daytime Front Desk Manager, Guide, made us feel very taken care of the entire stay. He booked both the Phi Phi Island and Phuket Elephant Sanctuary excursions, and several spa treatments making sure all the details of our stay were perfect. Every employee greeted us with a smile and a wai gesture. It felt like our home away from home. And the location is perfect. Close to everything you need. I also highly recommend booking a room with a private plunge pool. It was definitely worth the little extra cost. If we return, we will re-revisit the Outrigger Surin Beach for sure.

Had a great 5 days here recently. The staff at the hotel were outstanding, from reception to security and everyone else. They really made the stay what it was. The location is fairly quiet with a handful of good restaurants. A couple of other excellent restaurants offer free pick up and drop off too. The local beach is lovely and was fairly quiet when we were there too.

From the warm welcome by Golf on our arrival to the final Saswaat De Ka from all the lovely staff, our week has been amazing. A very special boutique resort that is well suited to our family of 4 with 2 teenage girls. We prefer quiet relaxation at a resort so this was just perfect for us. The staff at the front desk and Nalu restaurant are superb - special thanks to Golf, Bee and Rung - for the yoga! Even the men at the hotel crossing to the beach are wonderful. We thought the beach was beautiful - unspoilt and lovely to watch the sunset. Kob khun ka for a memorable stay at the Outrigger Surin Beach 🙏

When you want a peaceful setting with great but moderately priced seafood restaurants (Sea Surin, Khunya) nearby and a beautiful stretch of beach, you will be very pleased! The reception staff particularly May-R, Guide and Gold were simply outstanding. Genuinely helpful and kind. Our mornings were made better by the friendly faces at breakfast where even my specialty coffee Flat white Oat milk request was remembered! We had a ground floor room with a plunge pool & comfortable lounger which was such a treat and we didn’t even use the main pool once. Hopefully management recognizes that they have such committed and special employees and they are valued accordingly!

Luckily we found Outrigger after searching the usual beach hotels. I specifically was looking for high feedback ratings, reasonable prices and nice beach nearby. The place was perfect for us: peaceful area opposite the quiet Surin beach with a good selection of restaurants, shops and massage places where you would want to visit again and again. On our last day we walked to the longer Bang Tao beach which was also very pleasant. On the island tour we passed by the popular resorts and were happy that we selected Surin! As to the resort experience, we had stayed at Outrigger in Fiji many years ago and remember that well. It is not easy to get satisfaction ratings of 10 and we weren’t disappointed. The staff are ever so helpful and cheery, the design of the building is unique and inspiring, restaurant has good variety of breakfasts every day. We also tried the massage. There is a taxi stand opposite so it’s easy to travel around. I was surprised there weren’t any insect problems you normally get in a tropical climate. Wifi was great! So HIGHLY recommended if you want a peaceful break in a friendly area. Just sitting on the beach, in the shade, all day long was super-special. The water was slightly on the rough side but enjoyable none the less. We would visit here again and again, love it!!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a good experience. The room was spacious and very well-maintained, feeling both aesthetically pleasing and clean. This is a lovely, small boutique hotel located in a quiet area, which is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. While the pool is quite small, it is meticulously designed and adds to the charm. The real highlight, however, was the exceptional personal service. The staff was incredibly pleasant and genuinely made our stay so pleasant.

Amazing hotel with beautiful pool area with lots of seating around it. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfy. Our room did however look out to a wooden frame to block the view of the building behind which meant not a lot of light came in. Staff are friendly and welcoming and room service was quick. Breakfast didn't have much variety but still good. Would definitely come back.

This was my first visit and it exceeded expectations. From arrival, every team member was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful—true five-star service. The hotel is spotless and very well maintained. Facilities and amenities are thoughtful and high quality, and the food was delicious with a nice selection. The location is prime—steps from beautiful Surin Beach yet peaceful.||||Everything was so good that I’m already planning to return. Thank you to the entire team—you are the reason this place shines.
