Outside Space Garden Center

Amazing local garden center with beautiful display landscaping. They often have a few unusual plants in stock. Today, I finally found *Thai* Basil seedlings there while everyone else just carries common Italian Basil. Excited!

This place is awesome!! Its perfect for any novice outdoor gardener who isn’t sure what plants can grow in NYC (zone 7b)- they have tons of perennials in the outside space, generally organized by light needs (it seemed like mostly part shade and full sun), and there was a section for herbs as well as an indoor space.

This is amazing garden center with harder to find plants that are healthy and take care of. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The whole place from design to selection is curated really well. Bottom line: best garden center I’ve found in Brooklyn. Night and day from my exp at Natty Garden

You know that thing where you're walking in a desert and you see what looks like a magical lush oasis ahead, and you're like, "that can't be real. That can't actually be real."? That's this place. A dream, gorgeous selection, wonderful staff who are legit excited to help you and repot your goods, and the prices can't be beat. If there's a catch I haven't found it yet. Welcome to the hood, Outside Space - thank you for being here!

I love this Space!!! This place is a magical oasis garden in the urban city. Well curated high quality selections of plants, they are incredibly healthy and has beautiful foliage. You can usually find exotic plants that you can't find at other shops. The shop keeper and staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Great Space and beautiful plants! They love my dog, which is an extra bonus!

Poorly run business. They don’t even open during their listed hours. Don’t bother trying, it’ll probably be closed.

One of the most wonderful and magical places we have been. We had two amazing celebrations in this space! The owners are fantastic and very helpful. We can highly recommend this place for getting plants, having celebrations, and more! Thank you Ed and Irene.

Super cute local garden center with many plants to choose from. Awesome staff, very helpful and nice. Great place to rent for small events. Friday 5-7 is buy $10 worth of plants, get free rosé. Absolutely recommend.

This place has the best plants!! I decided to come from Queens and Picked up a calathea. The owners are very knowledgeable about the plants and are willing to help you with all questions you have. Will be back :)

I generally like this spot but today they totally wasted my time. I called up looking for a specific plant. The person I spoke with on the phone, Irena (the owner), said they had 6 of the plants in question in stock. I only needed 1. So, I changed my plans for the day, got on a subway from Manhattan, and headed over. (Of note, I did tell Irena that I was coming in from Manhattan.) Tommy, the really nice sales person, and I couldn't find the plant in question anywhere. I asked him to call Irena since she said it was there. He got on the phone with her, she gave him some instructions of where to look, but it was still nowhere to be found. They didn't have it there. She was wrong. They didn't have the plant. It was a waste of my time and money. Not only that, but she didn't even apologize. (Tommy at one point said to her on the phone, "Yes, he's here now.") I used to work at a nursery, so I know that stock is ever-changing, but don't tell someone you have something on-site when you don't. It seems like a ploy just to get a customer into your store. I will think twice before shopping there again.
