Outsite Porto - Mouco

Bad management, lack of staff We checked in on the first day morning and we understood that the room would only be available in the afternoon. We left our luggage and came back to the hotel at night. There was no staff at the reception and we had to look for the staff at the bar. When the receptionist was back, he requested the check in procedure to be re-done again which is really waste of time. He explained that this is the procedure. The luggages were stored at a room with only a sticky memo on it?! We were asked to take our own luggage from the room as obviously the staff could not recognise the luggage with that sticky note. I wonder why a 4 stars hotel would have such interesting procedure. And what is really ridiculous is that our room was facing the reception at the first floor. The receptionist has been talking phone with speaker on at the midnight and I could not sleep. The room is designed with very dim light and the switching buttons are very confusing. When we checked out on the last day, we had similar issue that we couldnt find the receptionist staff. We stored our luggage and were in hurry to catch the train. We searched through the bar, basement and meeting room for like 10 mins until there was a staff passing by that could help.

The room was clean, quiet, and equipped with basic amenities; the bed was comfortable. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the metro station, which makes city travel very easy. Breakfast was satisfactory. On a slightly less positive note, the room was somewhat dark, and some additional towel hooks in the bathroom would be very helpful, as there is currently nowhere to hang a towel. The hotel staff deserves special praise. We had a minor issue with the parking spot in the garage (due to a misunderstanding), but the gentleman at the reception quickly and efficiently resolved the problem. Truly great customer service that stood out.

From the bar staff to the management team, everyone at Outside Porto is genuinely awesome. The facilities are excellent, with beautifully designed spaces to work, relax, and connect and the salted pool quickly became one of my favourite spots. Majo deserves a special mention for her warm welcome and the weekly events she puts together, which make it so easy to meet people and foster a real sense of community. I originally came for a short stay but loved it so much I ended up extending it to two weeks. It’s a place that feels both professional and homely, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Great property in a up and coming (although not there yet) area! Wonderful hidden gem of a property tucked in a very quiet part of Bonfim near Campanha. The rooms are like concrete boxes so you don't hear very much. The people and communal spaces are amazing, as usual in Portugal.

I really enjoyed my stay at Outsite Mouco! I felt very welcomed by the staff and they checked in on me often, which was a nice personal touch. The amenities were perfect for my needs and the site is absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and calm. I encourage you to take a walk through the whole location and check out all the little corners. I would HIGHLY recommend for your trip to Porto.

Firstly, the staff I met at the reception were very helpful and professional. Then I liked the room, it was spacious and neat..loved the simplicity of the design too. Overall it was a great experience.

It's a state of the art deco building with an art expo and warm pool in a beautiful outside designed garden! The rooms are spacious and very modern amenities. The only fault was that in our studio, we only had a frying pan to use to cook, we needed an actual pan also, that's the only thing to complain about as it's 7 stars!!! Thank you for such a great stay and for your impeccable bespoke customer service.

I stayed in a studio with a balcony and it had everything I needed for a comfortable and productive week. The location was super convenient—close to shops and easily walkable to the town centre. The whole place had a really relaxing vibe, which made it perfect for both work and downtime. I especially loved working from the coworking café—great atmosphere and setup. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be coming back!
