Yelp
Interior is very minimalist and cool, nice atmosphere.
It has adopted the same ordering style as Bacoa, a kind of ´Build Your Own Burger´sheet with a good choice of toppings, bread and sides. Because of this, I expected a similar (even slightly more upmarket) experience to Bacoa, however it really wasn´t.
The wholegrain bun I ordered was a bit stale, and the seeds on top just didn´t work well with the bread. The sweet potato fries I got as a side were undercooked, with salt and something that tasted a bit like curry powder, which I thought I would have liked, but was disappointed by.
I would have got over those aspects, had the chicken been a grilled breast, or even fried. However, it ended up being chicken mince, with some very bland flavoring. I ordered it with Sriacha sauce and grilled pineapple, which definitely made it more edible, but I could see a lot of white, fatty pieces in the mince, which put me off it in the end.
I think if you´re going to open a restaurant in Barcelona that is as similar to the Bacoa chain as this one, you should match it in quality of ingredients, or else make it a lot cheaper. The price difference wasn´t too noticeable.
