Very lovely restaurant! Our waitress Maria was so so kind and helpful. I was visiting Thessaloniki with some colleagues. She practically explained the whole menu to us, what was special in traditional Greek cuisine, and made sure all our cravings and tastebuds were satisfied. Very lovely lady!!!

Visiting Thessaloniki for the first time as a family of three and came to the city center twice. And we already visited this bistro twice. This is a top notch spot for food, sweets and coffee. If you also like a good atmosphere, a good view of the tower with sea, and friendly staff accompanied, this is your place. We tried lemon tart and lotus cake, both were one of a kind. Amazing ice coffees as well. We also liked fried chicken with curry and musakka. I’m from Turkey and I can safely say that this was the best musakka I’ve ever eaten! The staff were super friendly, especially with our infant 🫶 They made us feel very welcome. Big thanks to this beautiful place. We’ll definitely come back!

View of White Tower and the sea. Very busy on Easter day. English speaking servers. Special menu enjoyed the lamb dinner. Plenty of options.

Was expecting a tourist trap. Sure it was a bit expensive but service was great and food surprisingly good. It was simple but did the job and whilst the cars are a bit noisy, we were happy to stop there and appreciated the view.

The restaurant looks nice , however the level of understanding from the staff it is disappointing. They either don’t understand or they want to have you sit it and sell whatever . I ordered somethings and they brought us something else . Don’t be fooled by location and it’s looks . I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT . Even the corner tavern is better than this “restaurant “.

We stayed in Thessaloniki from 4th to 12th April 2025. We had breakfast and dinner most days at The Ovál Restaurant. In such a busy place, the staff were really friendly and helpful. They work really well as a team, delivering good food and service to all their customers. We were lucky to discover The Ovál. Thank you everybody! We ordered the "Tower" and "tiradito" rolls. The roll was delicious, they brought it warm. "Tiradito" would have been delicious if there were less sauces. The seabass is good, fresh, but there are too many sauces, because of this you can't feel the taste of the fish. Also in this dish there is dry corn 🌽 from a bag. This makes the dish much cheaper. It is clearly unnecessary, because the dish is tender, soft and you don't expect this hard corn to get on your tooth. The service is good. The waiters are attentive and know the menu. The atmosphere is also good, a beautiful view of the tower

I went with my family there and it was amazing! The raspberry lemonade were so good,the gyros were very very delicious and the musaka was the best in the world! Not only the food,but the waiters were so kind and friendly! I love this restaurant!
