Vegan cakes and treats! Staff were friendly and helpful, chill atmosphere, and one of the few places with a London Fog on the menu! Non-dairy milks available for those who need them and my partner enjoyed his flat white coffee with “proper milk” :-) Thanks! We were back the next day for more!

Overflow Café in Helensburgh is a real gem. It has a beautiful Scandi vibe – calm, minimalist, and welcoming. We had the open sandwich with goat’s cheese, which was fresh and full of flavour. As a big matcha fan, I was seriously impressed – smooth, well-made, and clearly prepared by someone who knows their stuff. The coffee was excellent too. A perfect spot for a relaxed bite and quality drinks. Highly recommend!

Love the guys behind the counter, so friendly. Excellent coffee, very knowledgeable. Definitely the best I've had outside Glasgow and actually better than most there too. Comfy chairs to sit and feed the baby. My favourite wee spot. Cakes are just amazing.

Travelled to Helensburgh just to try this coffee spot and was so so impressed. On top of offering all the standard espresso based drinks, there were pour over options and even competition beans to try. The selection of beans on sale included Three Marks and Thomsons and I was unable to leave empty handed. The decor was really cute and the customer service was excellent. I’d recommend a daytrip to Helensburgh just to visit here!

Wow, what a surprise. A really solid spot with a really excellent atmosphere. The owner is clearly passionate about consistency and clearly has a great eye for design, vibrant and abstract without being pretentious. Anytime we are back I will look forward to this coffee because it was memorable for so many reasons. Because coffee is important.

Great coffee and cake, love the vibe too

Beautiful smooth coffee: my oat flat white is perfect every time I order, the owner and staff are incredibly welcoming and hospitable and the cakes are always incredible! My favourite is the orange polenta cake, they serve it with jam and crème fraîche. Really glad they came decided to set up shop in Helensburgh! Thank you to everyone for the coffee and the smiles! Overflow Coffee in Helensburgh is a brilliant wee spot that puts the big chains to shame. Top-notch specialty coffee, served in a calm, minimalist wee space with genuinely friendly staff. The cakes are spot on too – the hazelnut blondie and sesame cookie looked unreal. You’re getting far better coffee here than the likes of Costa or Starbucks or Caffè Nero. Support local and give these guys your money instead, you won’t regret it.
