OVO Hydro

Went to see JLS with my adult daughters & my daughter in law. Whole evening was fantastic from start to finish. On arrival, wheelchairs were available & it made so much difference as I'm recovering from surgury & struggle with walking any distance. We we're allowed to use accessible entrance & we left the wheelchair at arena doors. Our seats were on ground floor & so easy to walk to. Crowds were no too hectic at all & managed to get wheelchair back at doors & had a easy & steady journey back to our car

Husband and myself went to see Simply Red section 006 row B seats 101/102 on the 28th Sept 2025, fantastic night. Seats could be comfier but to be honest i stood most of the night once the guys came on. Alcohol wasn't actually that expensive, crisps on the other hand £2,gave that a miss. Booked up for another 2 shows next year. Great atmosphere, helpful staff.

This was our 2nd time seeing Tom Odell and this time at the Hydro was a fantastic night Tom and his band were fantastic as usual and as this concert was in the Hydro the sound was so much better, this was by far the best concert ever what an experience. The staff were very helpful and polite. We can't wait for the next event and highly recommend this place for a great night out.

It's a great venue, very well laid out and organised. Acoustics are amazing. Bar prices aren't great but variety of drinks and snacks are very good, also toilets are plenty and you rarely have to queue. Helpful staff to find your way round the venue also makes the difference. All in all a great venue for a concert.

Despite numerous staff & security, I felt this was poorly operated. A lot of confused customers trying to locate their seats & the bar areas also having a lot of staff, took forever to serve. I actually went part way through the show to get a couple of drinks & whilst it was quieter & gave staff time to get the order right, by the time I got back to the seat & handed over a 'gin & tonic' to my partner - there was only tonic in the drink! I was going to go back & complain, but my partner said just to leave it. At the prices they are charging, I wonder if others have been duped into thinking they are getting what they pay for... One reason why I never regularly go to these arenas.

Went to see Simply Red and thought the atmosphere all around the venue was relaxed and welcoming. Security not to mental, staff very friendly. Great sound and the concert was fabulous.

It's a decent venue for big gigs. However sound isn't the best and the beer prices are like London prices, around £8 per pint at time of writing. Overpriced, especially considering how much gig tickets and merch are nowadays!

Brilliant night with Lewis Capaldi the only thing is there should be extra transport on so late at night Glasgow to Edinburgh if you miss the last bus or train at 11.30 there’s no way home. When you leave the venue it’s so busy your not guaranteed to get to bus or train station within the hour but apart from that great venue all round
