OVO Hydro

First time visiting this venue but definitely won't be the last. Arena gigs often feel too big but the layout of the Hydro meant even a big concert felt like an intimate experience. Food options aren't great but that's not why you come here. Only criticism (and it's very minor) was that it would be nice to have water refill points - we paid for a drink to get a reusable cup but was disappointed that you couldn't refill with water.

Great venue for concerts, we have attended several here over the years. Good place to park across the road and a walkway across to the venue to avoid the busy main road. Good access for all patrons

Impressive venue, seen chase and status, no issues at the bar , no long queues. The stewards in the venue were great, Took us to our seats every time we left to go to the bar or toilet as the row and seat numbers are difficult to see in the dark. £7.50 a pint, not too bad considering.

Ideal venue for large concerts, etc. Toilets seemed adequate, although it was strange to find only cubicles in the men's toilet. Lots of room to move around, purchase food, drinks or merchandise on the concourse.

Its a great venue for larger boxing events. Majority of seats away from the floor have a brilliant view. Shame they dont accept cash. Booking fees are also steep.

A great venue with plenty of food and drink facilities. The arena itself offers wonderful views of the stage. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I'd have no problems with visiting again.

I've been to a mix of events from gigs to family events and always had a positive experience. Friendly staff who are super helpful and always efficient. Good mix of food and drink options and always a good range of event options. Local parking is always a bit of a struggle, so leave up to an extra 45 minutes to get in on time.

Security are best in the world, slick, organised, polite, on task, there were a couple doing the rounds on the floor never ceased. Always present, impressive, made me feel very safe to have my teenage girls in the pit. Great space. Fast moving lines. Food was reasonably priced but variable quality. Drinks are reasonably enough priced, recyclable cups. Glad they've done away with the reimbursement nonsense. Recharging phone boxes available. It's time they added a better collection point for taxis.
