Ovolo South Yarra

The incredible Ovolo South Yarra. ||We arrived mid morning to a great warm welcome by the reception team who told us everything about there great hotel and we was in our trendy room in minutes, the room was great! such great vibes and a huge shower room and the most comfortable bed. loved all the little gifts everywhere.||Breakfast was amazing every morning in Lona Misa with the most amazing staff. We also took full advantage of the Ovolo Happy hours with the free drink and snacks. the team who work the restaurant are all fantastic and all felt like family. ||The location is spot on with amazing coffee shops bars and cool shops, it felt like a really cool neighbourhood and only a 5 minute train journey into the city or a tram to St Kilda.||The whole stay was amazing and we loved every single second and we cant wait to come back. ||Chris and Andy.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The rooms and common areas are beautifully designed and the staff was extremely friendly. Really excellent service and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in Melbourne. The location is excellent with lots of great restaurants within walking distance and very close to the South Yarra station for easy access to the rest of the city. Rooms are a bit small, but would be perfect for a single traveler or a couple traveling together. I found the Boogie to be the perfect size for me. I want to especially commend the staff for their excellent service, going above and beyond to quickly fix any issues I had, give me recommendations, and make me feel welcome. A model of service in the hospitality industry.

I have often stayed at this hotel because it offers excellent value for money at the prime error prime location it has several advantages. The food choices are excellent, especially for breakfast. The staff provide excellent service and are patient and responds to requests promptly I have found it to be quite comfortable. Additionally, they operate sometimes for extended hours with staff available even late at night. Reception was friendly smiling and helpful at all times .I highly recommend it.

This was a fantastic stay for one night in Melbourne. The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, and accommodating. We enjoyed the fun vibe and decor of the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The free laundry was a life saver! Wish we could’ve eaten in the vegan restaurant on the ground floor but it didn’t work in our schedule. All around a great experience.

Set right in the centre of South Yarra, this trendy hotel has everything you need. From the moment you enter the foyer, you are struck by the unique decorations themed around a retro style around music. Staff were also plesent and were extremely helpful.|Having booked the go go snug room, I was aware that it would be tight. But to be honest, the room was well thought out and was comfortable. |With easy access to the vibrant cafes and restaurants of South Yarra and the shopping precinct of Chapel Street, this hotel is worth looking at for your next stay.|Offsite parking ($6) was available so be prepared to walk a short distance after parking. It is also 5mins walk to the railway station which will get you into the city very quickly.|Overall, if you are looking for a hotel in this area, definitely consider Ovolo.

We had a wonderful stay at Ovolo South Yarra! |The staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable and welcoming stay. ||They made personalised balloons and a card to congratulate us on our 10 year anniversary which made us feel very special! |We even had complimentary bottle of spritz waiting for us in the room as part of a Christmas special! | |The package we chose, included 2 drinks and a snack at the restaurant - Lona Misa which is located downstairs. Breakfast for two which included any choice from the menu, a coffee and a juice! The food and drinks were delicious and staff very attentive and friendly. ||The bed was very comfortable with feather and down pillows. Blockout blinds featured which made for an awesome sleep.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were friendly and the whole place was a vibe. The price was also really good for all the extra inclusions. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they even gifted us a bottle of champagne. Can’t recommend enough.

Oh my, what a little gem of a hotel! Fun and funky, with superb staff. Stayed in a tiny GoGoSnug room but they crammed so many fancy touches in -- comfy queen bed, water filter, lovely soapy things & great shower, great lighting (apart from the mirror if you want to put make-up on!), Chromecast - everything you could want, and SO clean. The bar and restaurant are fab (great happy hour!) and there's free candy!!!|It's close to shops and a lovely market and 5 minutes to a rail station to get you into the city in three stops. |We're looking forward to going back.|PS Book direct through the hotel website - there's perks if you do!
