This was a complicated experience. On arrival, we waited more than 15 minutes to check in, as the system was apparently restarting. We were then taken to a room that seemed to be unprepared for our arrival, as it was missing a few key amenities. The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning, as the system was broken. After mentioning it for the second time, we were given another room. The front desk, upon assigning the room, told us that housekeeping had already taken our luggage to the next room, which was not true. After moving into the new room, it was a big improvement. This room actually had a hair dryer. However, the pool and gym are closed at the time of writing, and the construction work is quite loud in the morning.
Once the room was sorted, it was quite nice. However, service was hit or miss, with some being very helpful and wonderfully kind, and others showing some inexperience or general confusion.
The location is very good if you enjoy the valley, but if you want to see aspects of the CBD, it's a bit of a walk.
