What a pleasant surprise. Had stayed years ago when The Emprorium so knew it was a great location for public transport and cafes and restaurants. We stayed in a large room on 6th floor and very quiet with double glazing. Did not use pool on 7th floor but looks a relaxing area with great views. The included Apero Hour at Kaz BAR was great and the included continental breakfast in our deal good way to start day. Suggest the restaurant area could get busy. The free laundry, though only one washer and dryer was very useful. Valet parking not cheap but never is in CBD. Above all else the staff were wonderful being some of the friendliest and helpful ever met. Going back in June!

I stayed this week (check in Mon and out Wed). Great reception upon arrival - beautiful hotel and really welcoming and professional staff. I loved my room upon entry (cool decor, fresh, clean, comfortable, spacious). I was in Brisbane for a medical appointment at the Herston Private Hospital which was only a short Uber ride. Hotel is in a great location for bars, restaurants and handy shops as well as facilities like Herston Private.||Ring, don’t use app for room service - The main disappointment was when I used their app to order room service on the Tuesday evening. I ordered nachos (veg) so guacamole (nothing hot……corn chips and guac on a plate plus two drinks). I received a text indicating a time it should be expected. That passed, and another 10 minutes elapsed before I followed it up with the front desk. After chasing it up, they called back to say the problem was fixed and it would come (over an hour now).. I asked if it had been forgotten about, ie. what happened. The person was quite short saying the problem had been fixed and it would come (no apology or explanation), and hung up. Still a further wait (clearly had been missed). ||Breakfast was included in our package but we still paid for it (assuming it was due to ordering the eggs on toast as room service instead of going downstairs). Noting you pay a room service delivery fee this was a bummer. ||On saying that, besides the one gentleman on the phone during the room service debacle, the staff were fabulous and the hotel is lovely.

What a great find, very quirky, away from the generic hotels of today! |A fabulous location within walking distance of the trendy James Street Precinct! Our room was huge, with a super comfy bed, loads of space, all amenities in the room in were superb condition! The shower: just delicious, often when product dispensers are fitted in showers and you take your glasses off you can’t read which product is which!? Very well done in this case and great water pressure! The breakfast which was included in our daily rate was scrumptious and a great barista coffee at no extra cost! We really loved this hotel, the only negative is the prohibitive cost of parking our car each night: $60! Ouch!|The lobby was like a fridge but a very yummy candy bar was to compensate for the polar blast! Perhaps it makes you eat more candies?

I booked this hotel as a Hilton Member due to the closure of the CBD property by Hilton. It was their recommendation. As a hotel it is fine but the location is way too far from CBD. It is a funky design and modern atmosphere but I would not return. The check-in was taking way too much time and also in the coffee shop the staff was challenged with the systems. The rooms are spacious but the work chair is not comfortable. Roof was closed for renovation and the Gym was therefore offsite. For the price and location the price for value is not worth the distance from downtown.

Wry pleasant experience. I had to arrive at 6am due to my only flight option. My room was obviously not yet ready but they gave me a free upgrade. Exceptional. Anyways nice rooms with a special touch and good location too. Super friendly staff.

The staff were nice, the room was great, but it was a negative experience for me - my room was booked, confirmed and paid via booking.com - however on arrival apparently reception had never heard of me, so I spent 45min with reception digging out confirmation emails and payment receipts, and waiting while they made phone calls before they could figure something out and get me into a room. Not ideal when you have already paid weeks ahead and received a confirmation email... The gym and pool were not available during my stay (I think there were alternatives outside of the building) - but the pool photos were the main reason I booked. Loud construction work started in the room next door at 730am when I was looking forward to a sleep in.

Very comfortable, large room with a comfortable bed right in the heart of the Valley. Very quiet room. Staff were friendly & the hotel is in a great location. Only a short walk to Fortitude Valley train station, cafes and restaurants. Will Definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay at Ovolo in room 708. The room was lovely, clean and well appointed with robes, slippers, a safe, carry bag, coffee machine, mini bar and quite a few other extras. The spa I would have stolen had it fit in my bag 😂. I can't even remember how many relaxing spas with magnesium salt provided we had in our 2 night stay The whole hotel was decorated beautifully with a real quirk about it which is why I decided to take my wife to Ovolo for our 20th anniversary. It didn't fall short of expectations. Aircon kicking in overnight was a bit noisy, but that's about my only critique.

Yelp
Very stylish hotel, but what I want to comment on is how kind the front desk staff was in letting me drop off luggage in the morning hours before check-in. It was nice to explore Brisbane knowing I wasn't lugging around four bags.

Yelp
They are quite expensive but amazing super fancy rooms with doorbell and do not disturb system, we got a free Alexa and more! Lights in the room are cool but buggy and the breakfast is delicious! Oh also they have a 24/7 sweet bar so that's a nice touch! P.s FREE MINI BAR!!!

Yelp
Fantastic small "boutique" hotel we were fortunate to stay at while in Brisbane Australia. Located near downtown admits a collection of shops and restaurants in a quiet neighborhood. Rooms were very nice, clean and well decorated. A free mini-bar comes with the room along with excellent Wi-Fi and other amenities all at a reasonable pricE. Will definitely come back to when we return to Brisbane.
