Owee's Place

Perfect place to stay if you're solo as its in a safe area. The place was clean and grass was well kept. My room had a bed, TV, cupboard, fridge and an en suite bathroom and it was all I needed. The kitchen is a communal one, I didn't use it though as I was out most of the day. McDonald's is 2 minutes away for late night munching and the Gautrain in 12 minutes away. Also loved how I had access to the property whenever I wanted. I arrived back after the One Direction concert at 1 in the morning and they let me in with no problem, which was great! Overall I had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to stay here.

We booked in a college yesterday, when we arrived we waited a few min by the gate and had to phone twice before someone opened the gat. First impressions last and I can say we were shocked. We were greeted by this huge rubbish dump on the lawn accompanied by a horrid smell. When enquiring about the booking, the receptionist confirmed. She phoned the owner and she told the receptionist not to check us in because no payment was recieved. This company booking was made by bookings.com. I asked the receptionist to hand me the phone to speak to the owner and the owner refused to speak to us. We asked the lady to then manually process the payment on the credit card facility which she did not even know how to use. We had to do it for her. The machine had communication failures and we were left standing there and the receptionist didn't even know what to do. We walked out and looked for another bed and breakfast that was more that willing to assist and even completed the booking over the phone and allowed us to check in after 22h00. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone looming for a proper place to stay and personally will not even use their facilities again.

A very tranquil place. Very clean environment in a quiet area. The gentleman managing the place (Andre) is very friendly and the cherry on top is their pricing. The place is indeed value for money. Looking forward to my next visit whoop whoop ❤️❤️❤️💯

Be careful when booking at this hotel.||We made our reservation through hotels.com. We arrived at the hotel and the receptionist informed us that she had no reservations on our behalf, I showed all the booking documentation and it was no use, she called the owner of the hostel, who also informed that she had no reservations. and that they didn't even work with the hotel website and didn't have what they did. We asked her to call the hotel.com website and resolve the misunderstanding, but the ill will was such that it was not done and they said we should solve it alone and it didn't help.||In short, with all this confusion, we missed our last afternoon of city sightseeing and were forced to pay the room rate again.||If I had read some reviews on the internet, I would not have made a reservation there, as I saw that this is not the first time this happens there, I do not know if there is bad faith or lack of knowledge in managing the reservations.

It is a comfortable nice place,quite,clean and the stuff are very professional,b2tfyl rooms an they respect their guests'privacy

The best venue ever!! Andre the caretaker was awesome, everything was just perfect and clean😊

Quiet place, a bit boring. Staff not too friendly, and no activities unless you plan to sleep in your room the whole day.
