On the good side Silvia is a lovely person and helpful with information. The place looks nothing like the photo’s now as you can see the dates on them were a few years ago. Place is very cluttered and needs to be spruced up a bit. Bed was fine though the room was also cluttered Mats in room were stained and bathroom floor and bedroom floor was not cleanTowels need to be replaced as they are a bit thin. Bit like staying at a grandmas house though you have to pay top dollar.

My stay here at Oxford Coach and Horses was, sadly, only for one night. I arrived way earlier than check-in time because I was on a solo trip and coming from London. I wasn’t sure how long it would take me to get there. Sylvia welcomed me with open arms and fed me even though my breakfast wasn’t supposed to happen until the next day. I had an injury on my thumb and she took such good care of me, giving me ice, driving me to my scheduled excursion and even to the airport when it was time to leave. She wouldn’t let me carry my luggage because of my injury, and as it turned out once I arrived back in the states I was told that I had a torn ligament and I had to have surgery. She was like a guardian angel. The Oxford Coach and Horses is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean. But the best part is the owner, Sylvia. You will never find a person who is more kind. I was so blessed to meet her on my travels.

Our first stop on our way to hike through the Cotswolds was at the Oxford Coach and Horses for two nights. Our host was so wonderfully warm and welcoming that we immediately felt right at home. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. We enjoyed the view of the back garden. The location was quite convenient with only a few minutes' walk to restaurants, a pub, and a Sainsbury grocery store. In less than 10 minutes one would be over the Magdalen Bridge and on the High Street. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

The guestrooms are beautiful. Very clean and updated. The breakfast was delicious. Sylvia was a gracious host. Wonderful location for visiting Magdalen College. It’s very close to the bus stop that takes you straight to London and other tour buses.

We only slept one night in this very cosy and comfortable den and breakfast: the room was huge , with comfortable clean beds. It is on the Main Street , so could be a bit noisy in the early morning because of the traffic . The host was lovely and she left our car parked longer than the check out . Breakfast was fresh cooked and enough choice. There is a practical bus stop in front of the building , everything was nice and clean .

My wife and I recently stayed at the Coach and Horses B&B for a 1 night stay as we had tickets to see a podcast at the New Oxford theatre. We were very pleased with our stay, we stayed in room 8 and it was very spacious, clean and very welcoming. Even the little touches of the chocolates on the bedside table made it feel very welcoming. The service provided by the staff was very good and welcoming. I had the cooked breakfast which was very nice with numerous amounts of toast available, my wife had the breakfast special (muffin, poached eggs, mushrooms & Asparagus) which she really enjoyed. On site parking was very useful and its a great location to explore Oxford as it was only a 15-20 minute walk into the centre. We would not hesitate to stay again and would definitely recommend to anybody.

The Coach & Horses was a great, convenient place to stay after completing the Thames Path from Kemble to Oxford. Great friendly welcome, nice spacious bedroom and bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast was made to order and was first class. Stayed three nights and would definitely stay here again. ||The Coach & Horses also proved to be convenient for the city centre and wasn't far form great eating places.

Adore this bnb, the host Silvia is so kind, attentive and wonderful! The rooms are immaculate and ever so comfortable, and the breakfasts are hearty and the most delicious of any stay we’ve had anywhere! We can’t wait to come back. If you are staying in Oxford, look no further! Oxford Coaches and Horses is the BEST!!!
