Oxford House

Well Oxford house is my new favorite place to stay in Sydney. With a warm relaxed reception on arrival and beautifully appointed rooms we had a wonderful time. The private courtyard and pool is lovely even in winter. The soundproofing is excellent and very comfortable beds. We will definitely stay again. Thanks Susan

A clean, stylish, no fuss hotel that has efficient and delightful team, super comfy beds, a fab winter sunny breakfast room with delicious food and located right on Oxford St. Plus a fully operational elevator! Couldn't fault this great, centrally located hotel, thank you Oxford House, I've booked in again in 2 weeks based on this experience!

I've stayed here 3–4 times over the past few years. The staff are always super friendly, and the rooms are clean and modern. The LA style pool area and bar is absolutely stunning. You really can’t go wrong! Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at Oxford house! The amenities are top notch, offering everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and alas ready to assist. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options.

Give this hotel a miss until they fix the out of service elevator. 2 floors is a long way to drag a suitcase. Which you only learn about after booking. Rooms are small, bathrooms tiny, no space to hang clothes. Pool looks very nice but chlorine smell permeates the building. . Rooms facing Oxford St have insufficient sound proofing and are noisy. Final injustice - TV remote didn't work.

Good location and would recommend for visiting the city, as very central to go to different points and suburbs with being able to walk to lots. The hotel is nice, and good how they keep the pool area locked for hotel guests. Room is nice and clean, but lacks any storage space, there’s one tiny wardrobe which I couldn’t even fit one item in and there is no safe either.

This hotel is in a perfect location, with restaurants, bars, and clubs within walking distance, plus easy access to public transport, including trains and buses. The lobby was spotless, smelled amazing, and created a great first impression. Despite checking in late at around 8:30pm, the staff were welcoming and check in was easy. Our standard room was modern, warm, and clean, with a spacious feel, though the bathroom was a bit tight for two people. The minifeidge had still and sparkling water inside. The only minor inconvenience was the elevator being out of order, but it didn’t impact our stay at all (got my extra steps in lol). I wish the reviews were more positive—we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay again!

I had stayed here a few years ago. Quite a good experience. This time, and I'm still here by the way, is woeful. No heating. Offord me an extra blanket. No WiFi. No TV, only one channel worked. No chromecast. No closet. Tiny bathroom. Nowhere to even put your toilet bag, other than on the toilet systurn. Dirty carpets. And it goes on. All this for over $300 per night. I'm sorry guys. I won't be back. Not a whisper of compensation. Not even a free breakfast.
