I hosted an event in the pool bar and couldn’t be more pleased with the service and staff. They were accommodating to every request and allowed us to store the flowers and props the day before the event. Would highly recommend for anyone planning an event. The pool bar is just stunning

Room was really modern and the space well used. Thought we got great value for the location and being a weekend except the $50 for parking on top. The staff were underwhelming and appeared very unsure and unorganised. Room wasn’t ready by 2pm and no text message received (which we were told we would get) when room ready. I highly suggest you find parking elsewhere if needed. There are maybe 6 spots available in a very tight space and in the middle of industrial fridges etc where the staff are working.

I almost let the recent negative reviews put me off staying here, but I'm glad I didn't! We had a wonderful experience at this boutique hotel and would stay again. Yes, the rooms are on the smaller side ( we were in the Iona room, the smallest they offer) , but that's to be expected with a boutique hotel – if you want more space, you’re probably better off with a large hotel chain. The location was fantastic, with plenty of things to do nearby, and we loved the pool area and bar. The staff were lovely, always friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While the hotel is a little tired in places, it didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Whilst they’ve done a nice job at “updating” this old building, the bones are still the bones. Lift was broken, no offer of help with our bags. Continuous issues with the air conditioning- first it wasn’t working so we had to move rooms. Then we were woken up at 5am by water leaking into our bags. Staff were dismissive and unapologetic. Pool area/restaurant was closed for a shoot with no prior warning. No minibar. Restaurant closed on a Sunday night. Parking is near impossible to get in and out of (and $50 a night!) Could have handled the rundown facilities if it wasn’t for the unhelpful staff with attitude. Emailed management but have been ignored so…

I've stayed here multiple times and enjoyed it, but unfortunately things seem to be deteriorating. 1. the hot water heat limiter is clearly not woking or not set properly - I scalded my right shoulder in the shower. I had the same issue at their sister property, The Strand. This is seriously dangerous. 2. after having a shower I stepped into the bedroom and my right foot went out from under me on water that had somehow flowed out of the shower stall or under the wall, and into the main bedroom area. I had to put a towel down to prevent further slipping 3. it's a little thing, but there was no bottled water in the room which has been there in the past. 4. the pool bar area was not open on a Tuesday night. Disappointing as I had taken a friend to recommend the hotel. Sadly, won't be staying again.

Unfortunately a very underwhelming experience at this hotel which I found via Mr and Mrs Smith. The hotel looks good in photos but in reality is poorly kept and averagely built. In order of importance, the ac in my room was not working to which they offered me a fan in 29 degree weather after three attempts at asking for a fix. The lights were flashing on and off. The tv didn’t work. The lift was out of order. The pool was dirty with a layer of oil on top. The room was much smaller than one would expect and if you don’t like loud music don’t stay here. Disappointing.

Lovely hotel that’s clean and stylish. Location is fantastic for anything you need in the Paddington area. CJ was super helpful and friendly with checking us in and offering suggestions for parking. We enjoyed drinks at the pool bar at twilight, which has a great vibe and aesthetic scenery. I especially loved my espresso chai martini. Will stay again 🍸

Disappointing. Overpriced. Nothing special for what we paid.No close food places open Monday Tues no suggestions on using deliveries or assistance in getting food. Didn't go the extra mile. Rooms poky with no tea coffee facilities except coffee machine out of order TV not user friendly for older people. Noisy with pool area music till 10p or after. No chair in room to be able to sit and watch television. Lovely reception area shame there was no one there most of the time. Won't be staying there again.
