A very enjoyable stay. The room was very compact but did its job and felt very cosy to be honest. The wood finish for the headboard and also main feature wall worked so well. Props to the designer. Great location close to ample food & clothing spots. The pool is nice & quiet

Rooms with the balcony facing the road are very noisy, had poor sleep with the traffic going all night. Also had a total of 3 cockroaches in my room during my stay, 2 were after staff had been notified and the room sprayed. Location was good but wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel was awesome, very stylised and chic/modern. Great location aswell, right in the middle of Darlinghurst and Paddington. 15 minute walk from the train station and a short ride to the city. Only downsides is that the bathroom is quite small. The shower size is good for two people but there’s not enough standing space unfortunately; and casting from your phone to the tv can be abit difficult, I’d recommend changing the chromecast name to your room number as they’re all the same. Other than those two issues everything was great. Definitely will be back 😁 very safe area too.

Convenient location , near to pubs etc, bed was really comfortable if not a little bit low which made it difficult to get out of as I am not young. Rooms are tiny, the verandah is just big enough for one person to stand in, the bathroom is a closet, & the shower is just big enough also for one person which if your having a Romantic weekend away is not great. The hanging space is atrocious. There is a big seat with draws underneath which have no handles so difficult to open and all of our stuff went on there as nowhere else to put luggage etc. They could have made better use of this space with a proper wardrobe and table and chair or two. The staff are friendly and Busby's was great for a drink especially in happy hour. Pool area is lovely, but pool bar is only open fri- Sunday and as we had a midweek stay was not open which was disappointing. Could have stayed at the Pullman in Hyde park, 5 star with exceptional service for $40 a night extra, Def's next time, won't be staying at Oxford House again.

Great location and the pool area and food are all positives. But sadly the stay is overshadowed by the fact if your room faces Oxford street you will not be able to sleep. There is no double glazing and Oxford street is like the M1 trucks, cars and motorbikes all night long. I have now read multiple reviews for the hotel saying just that. The hotel was fully booked so there was nothing that could be done, but I was extremely disappointed that a hotel that is attempting to be a boutique stay is so ignorant to the many reviews regarding how bad the sound off that road is. They need to invest in double glazing or charge ALOT less for any room along the front on Oxford street because to pay for a deluxe room and that is what you get…very disappointing.

Visited recently for the third time in recent months with my life and business partner - a relatively brief visit this time around, but one during which the immediate benefit and comfort of stylish amenities and sensitive service was crucial. As always, this included the affordable convenience of rapid access to downtown clients, however the opportunity to interact with inner city service providers in a conducive, relaxed environment was particularly important on this visit. The friendly, helpful and welcoming attitude of Oxford House staff is a feature of this property, and the capacity to meet and greet and eat with discerning contacts was well catered for both by the streetside restaurant (nicely separated tables, excellent menu and wine list) and the mid-level relaxation deck and bar. All areas in the hotel including the rooms are infused with a sense of modern, sophisticated design and beyond our own enjoyment of that sensibility, it makes a delightful impression. It's an experience to be savoured.

With a warm welcome at reception on arrival and well presented rooms we had a wonderful stay. Lovely bristo next door and very comfortable beds. We will be back. Walking distance to St Vincent Hospital. Regards Greg

Needed somewhere to stay close to St Vincents Hospital. Contrary to the implied online information there is no parking which meant we had to use the very expensive hospital parking. Newly renovated rooms were quite nice. Unfortunately the TV refused to work even after they "fixed" it once. Didn't try the food so can't rate that. I'm sure it was much better than the hospital cafe! Later check out (11am) was nice. Staff very friendly.
