The food here is tasty and made with good ingredients. The Amritsari Kulcha Thali is one of the best items. It comes with stuffed kulcha, spicy chole (chickpeas), salad, and curd. The kulcha is soft from inside and crispy outside. The chole is full of flavor. The Dal Makhani is creamy and rich, perfect with butter naan. The Paneer Bhurji and Rajma Chawal also taste like home-cooked food. The sweet lassi and mango lassi are served in large glasses and are thick and fresh. They go well with the food and are very filling. Prices are a bit high, but the quality and taste make it worth it, especially for special occasions or weekend lunch. Portion size is good, but not very big. The staff is friendly and gives fast service. The place is clean, including the washroom. During busy hours, you might have to wait a little, but not too long. Oye Kake is a good choice if you are looking for pure vegetarian Punjabi food in South Mumbai. It’s a nice spot for families, office workers, and tourists. The location is easy to find and safe to walk around. Overall, it gives a happy Punjabi food experience in the middle of Mumbai’s busy Fort area.

Oye Kake is a 100% vegetarian Punjabi restaurant in Mumbai, known for its rich and flavorful North Indian dishes. The dal makhani, paneer dishes, and buttery parathas are especially popular. So the food was great, portions were a bit small though. Service was quick and the servers were very polite. Overall a nice dining experience.

On a weekend found this to be the only vegetarian restaurant in the neighborhood. It is a very small place but seats about 40 persons in small and big groups. They have pots to decorate a wall and colorful objects in keeping with the season. The menu is extensive representing Amritsar city. I ordered a Gobi Kulcha and a Salty Lassi. They took a while to serve it. The tandoori Kulcha was medium sized, well made and tasty. The small bowl of chholey with it was nice and had an aftertaste of the masalas used. The Lassi was served in a tall glass. Both items made a good meal. Prices are high but ok considering the quality. They have a washroom which is rare in Mumbai. Highly recommend this restaurant for its ambience, good service and great food.

It's a decent place with decent food. It's good to go if you are going for the first time. Paneer peshawari is a must try.

Tandoori Kulchas were very good. The taste of overall food was decent but could have been better. Appetisers were expensive considering their quantity. Being a punjabi restaurant more chaap varieties could be added in appetisers and main course section. I felt that the service was a bit slow compared to other restaurants.

Located in Cawasji Patel Street in Fort area, Mumbai next to Yazdani Bakery and same lane as Mahesh Lunch Home. Its a pure Veg restaurant. Its a small yet nice place to have authentic tasting Punjabi fare. It offers a diverse range of starters as well as kulchas, parathas and the typical.north indian subzies and breads.They also have a wide range of Lassis. We tried the Khatte Meethe Aloo chat for starters. For.mains, we had Aloo Onion Kulchas and Paneer ,kulchas served with Chole. In addition, we tried the Mixed Veg Paratha and the Methi paratha served with dal makhani and curd. Nice awesome taste. We.topped it with Kulhad Malai Lassi which while creamy though was on the sour side and less sweet. Overall, good experience, worth a visit.
