OYO 16082 Hotel Imperial Corner

The rooms are good and comfy. They have an amazing Restaurant though called "Food Library" which does serve some excuisit cuisines. The ambience and Food is really great. Dal Bukhara is one of their specialities and truly worth trying. The only point where i believe 1 star should be deducted is Service. Despite having good sales they have less service staff. At times it takes 10-15 min to book an order. So approx you have to wait 30 min before the food is served. I really hope they start recruiting more people to help them serve better and faster.

Pathetic rooms. Dirty and filthy bedsheets with no proper lighting. More than half of the lights were not working. The windows couldn't shut properly and leaked cool breeze. Washrooms were not cleaned from ages. House flies everywhere in the room with garbage lying in the corners. These people don't have even proper blanket to offer to the guests. The blankets smelt really bad and dirty. Don't ever stay here...!!

Stayed there last week and would like to share few experience: 1. Got SUITE room booked from Goibibo but during check-in, Receptionist told me that Suite room is occupied and they don't give Suite room to online customer's. It's for the customer's who book with them directly. They just gave me an ordinary room and I felt that I got cheated. 2. Breakfast was included in the plan and they told me that they will deliver food from the 3rd party vendor but not from their restaurant. Food they gave in breakfast was aloo pratha with curd and tea. Again I felt that its not worth the amount I gave to Goibibo. 3. At night, there was a power cut for half an hour and upon personal visit, I got generator started. Only thing I liked was that the room were clean and location was good.

Dated 20.11.2021. Hotel imperial corner. Booked from OYO. Confirmed booking. When reached there my room was given to someone else. I was asked to check in another room which was not even one percent of what I have booked. Dirty , filthy, unhygienic and what not . Excuse was that the room I have booked is under maintenance which was actually not. As I have asked them to show me the under maintenance room but they did not show. Because it was not under maintenance. OYO it is very shameful. Will OYO app and ask others to do so.

one of the oldest in patiala. hotel is centrally located. walking distance from bus stand and railway station. although design and architecture is old rooms are very spacious. you will have to fight a little with management to get the room clean

Not at all justifies the high price. The only and only good thing is that it’s near to railway station and bus stand. 1. Rooms : the photos shown in apps like OYO etc are way bigger than the actual property. They are fooling us. 2. Staff : The tv was not working initially because the switch was not located near to the tv. I called the service person he played with all the wires that were connected to the tv and went away saying other person will come. I later in did my own R&D for about 20 minutes to finally discover the switch, by the time not a single person came. The tv started working, but the dish tv recharge was not done. I urged them to recharge later to find out that sports and other interesting channels were not even subscribed. I called the staff but was disappointed and so I went on to register a complaint in the app through which I booked hotel, after which a lady and a male came to check and my privacy was snatched away for next 15 minutes without any solution, or not even the desired even after waiting for long. 3. Hiegene : there is one almira in the room, which I suppose was for the guest to keep their belonging. But no, it was filled with dirty.... real dirty blankets/ pillow and quilt to add to my anger. 4. Sound proofing : trains honking nearby won’t let you sleep. And so, the high prices not at all justified. 5. Value for money : big N, big O. That makes a big NO.

There were literally many many disappointments during the stay here so I am just gonna list them out and I don't think anybody should stay here as it's totally waste of money and time. So here we go. 1) Room size was small. 2) Pillows were torn and dirty. 3) Bed sheet had holes and were dirty. 4) AC wasn't cooling properly. 5) There wasn't proper lighting. 6) Washroom was dirty. 7) There wasn't any exhaust fan in washroom. 8) Towels were dirty. 9) Got burnt Paranthas in our breakfast. 10) There were cups but no kettle to make tea or coffee. 11) This hotel is literally adjacent to railway station so you will be hearing a lot of train noises whole day. 12) WiFi wasn't working either And to support all these problems I have faced I am attaching some pics to support that. So check them out too. Seriously don't ever book from Oyo and if you are booking from them then don't ever pay in advance because of some discounts because then you will have only two options either to adjust in that awful room or to waste your money and book another room at another hotel.

The hotel is on a good location, it has clean and big rooms, good air conditioning and toiletries. The staff is very helpful and full of etiquettes, during my stay they represented Patiala, Punjab really well, i shall visit them again, thank you.
