No one around to check us in. When she appeared about 45 minutes later she said we shouldn’t have used hotels.com because they are OYO and she wouldn’t get paid! She went into a complete story of pitty and went in that we shouldn’t have done it,goodness knows how we were supposed to know! We were able to cancel our booking and pay her cash for the room. This completely changed her mood to a more pleasant person. |The hotel and rooms are very tired and outdated. Thankfully our room was reasonably clean and spaceous. A Kettle, mugs and towels were provided, no tea/ coffee or toiletries. The bed was comfy and huge, air con worked and we did have hot water, but not masses of it all the time(fairly standard in Malaysian hotels)|Over all it’s a cheap and basic hotel in Batu Ferringhi very close to the beach and national park. The road it’s on it very busy in all day. |It’s runs like Faulty Towers! |It doesn’t look like any of the photos on the booking platforms, it’s been painted a very dark green!||One last random thing to note, if you catch a bus out of this lovely little fishing village, all busses will stop just past the roundabout out and the driver will tell you to get off. This is so he can have a tea break! Usually there will be 5 or 6 busses all end up there roughly at the same time once he’s done you can then continue your journey. All a bit odd but that’s what happens.

I rent a house from this hotel owner ,I am very disappointed with the condition of the house I rent. When I rented it, I was not informed about the poor state it was in. It was only after moving in that I realized the issues, which should have been disclosed beforehand. I paid a deposit of RM 2,000, but when I moved out, the owner refused to return it despite the problems I faced. This lack of transparency and unwillingness to refund my deposit is unfair and unprofessional.

Never ever. The room was dirty and smells bad. No toilettpaper and toileties. We was waiting half hour to check in, but the man did not come so we had to call him. I asked toilettpaper, but we did not get, then call him, but did not get only on the next morning when we left the room, because we went to hiking to the beautiful national park. If you would get to know the local malaysian life, Teluk Bahang is a good place for you, but if you stay long time here you should book another hotel..

The worst hotel in Penang. We booked and paid for this hotel online a few days in advance, but when we arrived to check in around 8:30 pm, the front desk staff told us there were no rooms available, giving us numerous ridiculous excuses. In the end, we had to find another hotel nearby.

The worst hotel in the world. This is the worst hotel I'm facing in my life.I has booked and paid before few day from my trip. The hotel owner told me my reservation has been canceled when I reach the hotel. This hotel owner very not responsibility on the situation...it is look like a not honestly business way..not only me facing but a lot of ppl also facing the same problem when I searched the reviews on websites.Pls read and think properly before choose this hotel...think smart and don't make simple decision ....your guys still have a lot of choice....same price and better than this place ....pls don't make wrong decision....good luck

The cost to benefit ratio is fantastic. Large room... we got the king bed. Location is 5 minute walk to the national park and across the street is the bus stop to Batu Ferringhi and Georgetown every 15 minutes. Morning market we could have breakfast for both of us for under $2 USD. This is definitely not 5 star but for what you get and what you pay is definitely more than worth it. For the negative reviews people need to understand that this is a great BUDGET hotel with a good air con. The wifi was a little bit of spotty. We paid 3X the amount for a highly rated accommodation in Georgetown and we actually preferred this more. Once you get to know the owner he is a very kind and caring man too.

Definitely would not rate this hotel as a 3 star as some booking websites do. However reasonably clean with massive bed and good air con. Wifi is hit and miss. Bathroom is average with no shower/ toilet separation. |We stayed here for the convenience of volunteering at Cat Beach Sanctuary. Otherwise the location is not ideal, we struggled to find anywhere that sells just a simple bottle of water after dark. It's 5 minutes to the bus stop to catch the 101 or 102 up to batu ferringhi which has plenty of decent restaurants

Near to Escape AdventureWorld, there were only 2 hotels on booking site when we were looking for, ans we took this one. The hotel looked renovated recently and quite new. The room was huge and 2 queen beds and 1 single bed for a family room. But there were no sofa or chairs to sit. There was a closet, mirror, a table. Charging our gadgets were inconvenient, not enough outlet nearby beds. Bathroom everything worked. |The elevator was like a huge food elevator for people purpose. Our kids had fun and we've never seen such an elevator. The hotel provided bath towels but no bottled drinking water or other amenities. Hygiene was good and bed was comfortable. Wifi was nice and fast.
