Service: Cold reception on arrival. Staff ignored us. Potential owner came out with also a cold reception. Ordered a dozen and he tried to sell the bag of 40 (potential miscommunication?). When corrected he said that not many people buy a dozen as the time it takes it open them it's not worth it... Not sure why they would sell them in a dozen in they're going to comment. Left feeling unhappy and slight regret buying from them.
Oysters: Bought unshucked dozen for $12. Very very small AND few oysters were off, the smell was so bad we had to double bag it. We reluctantly ate the rest and hope we don't fall sick.
Recommendation: Better and bigger oysters and better service in Montague Oyster in Narooma (only unshucked, $14 for dozen for their medium which were still much larger) and if you're heading further south try Easter Show Silver winner Broadwaters Oysters, Pambula Lake (unshucked and shucked available), with their amazing service and willingness to discuss how they grow and process their oysters. Even got to see their back end sorting area, with respect.
