Oyster Shed on Wray

Great place. Oysters are so fresh and staff are friendly and welcoming. Also there is a lovely setting area where you can enjoy eating oysters in a calming, peaceful atmosphere with a nice view.

Oyster quality isn’t that good against the price. (Victoria got better quality with a lot less prices) However it’s a good rest spot when you are on road trip. The setting is cute and view of river is great.

Down on the harbour and you can see the oyster farms where the oysters are harvested. A family run business, mother and daughter were working in the shop but they mentioned grandma’s preference for cooked oysters.?The oysters were delicious with a fresh, briny taste.

Fresh Sydney Rock and Pacific oysters straight from the Clyde River. An absolute gem we stumbled across while passing through Batemans Bay. The presentation was spot on, the quality was incredible, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. A lucky find worth stopping for 😀

The oysters and praws here are top notch - probably the best in the region. If you're feeling like sticking around there are tables, chairs and a view of the water as well. There is also a coffee shop nearby for drinks (different organisation). I would recommend trying their oysters and prawns if you're looking for fresh seafood. Regards @fooderarri

Super cute! Love that its been a family run business since the 50s, very fresh oysters and great setting. They do allow BYO, wish we’d know that as it would have been a nice addition to our visit! Definitely worth visiting - it transports you back in time!

Go early before the crowds start to arrive. Fresh oysters were great. Nice view. There is also a cafe alternative to seafood.

Oyster Shed on Wray serve Sydney Rock Oysters in two sizes ($25 and $28) and have a cute outdoor cafe van. Just a heads up—they don’t serve fish and chips. Maybe it was because of the rainy weather, but the oysters I had here weren't very creamy and had a strong bitter aftertaste.
