Best kept secret this place, that everyone should know about. Been coming to the Bay for a while until the Oyster Shed was pointed out to us during the River Cruise.

Very unique, cute and secluded place to stop, stock up on oysters and relax. There is a small jetty for fishing, bar and relaxing location to sit back and enjoy the view. I stocked up with 3 dozens of pacific oysters. Great service, packed them in a travel back with ice to set me up for the drive.

Freshest, juiciest oysters cracked open in from of you straight from the Clyde River. Also Freshest prawns. Lovely outback seating with views of the Clyde River and Batemans Bay Bridge where you can just sit back , kick back and enjoy the views. Kids loved throwing the prawn heads into the River and watching the fish rise to the surface of the river.

6 stars if I could. The best Sydney Rock oyster I had in a long while. Still remember the buttery smooth taste in my mouth after our trip to the South Coast. Give them a try if you are in the area.

Wow not only are the oysters unbelievable here fresh and succulent. The coffee is amazing. It’s not very often. You find a coffee that you can finish to the end and really enjoy. Also the owners and staff are so beautiful and welcoming. Love this place.

Came here based on the reviews, looks like a bit of a hit and miss , oysters were nice , a bit on the small side, presentation in the display window could do with a bit of zooshing up

Fresh local oysters. The oysters seemed a bit small, but it was slightly cheaper than some other shops in the region.
We do get a nice view of the lake from the shop to add to the ambiance of enjoying the seafood.
The shop is a little out of the way to get to, but it did seem quite busy, which is always a good sign.

This shed is well known for selling freshly prepared oysters and prawns. There is plenty of seating and tables at this oyster shed. And there’s also a cafe that sells sandwiches, nachos and cooked or uncooked oysters. Coffee, teas and drinks on sale too. The cafe opens at 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends. The oyster shed is open from 9am to 5pm seven days a week. Obviously, this spot offers customers an excellent view of the Clyde River because it’s located right alongside the river. The prices are reasonable. The oyster shed is accessible via car - there is room for about a dozen cars to park. It’s a longish walk or cycle from the Batemans Bay CBD to here. The oyster she’d had a wash basin that you can use after eating oysters and prawns.
