My mother has been here for three and a half days, and from the moment we arrived, she has been treated like royalty. I am incredibly grateful that we chose this location based on a referral from her doctor at the hospital. The nurses are amazing—patient and caring in every aspect of their work.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful nun who escorted us to her room with a such a warm welcome. However, I must mention an incident that occurred today. When I arrived to visit my mom, I attempted to use one of the four elevators, one of which I can only assume is reserved for employees. I boarded the first elevator that arrived (rightfully so!) and to my surprise, I was approached by a nun who was quite hostile. She exclaimed, "Get out, get out! Take that elevator over there!" There was no "excuse me" or "please." I was spoken to as if I were a child being reprimanded for misbehavior.
I was totally taken aback and promptly exited the elevator, choosing to use the other one. Out of respect for her position as a nun, I refrained from arguing or responding negatively. Nevertheless, I was astonished by her rudeness and demanding tone.
Despite this unfortunate encounter, I will not allow it to overshadow the overall positive experience we have had at this facility. As I previously mentioned, this place has truly been a blessing.
