Ozark National was a beautiful course and a great stop on our trip, but I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5. The layout is fantastic, with dramatic elevation changes, sweeping views of the Ozarks, and a really fun variety of holes that kept our group of 16 entertained. It’s a challenging but fair track, and the design makes for an exciting round. That said, the course conditions were a little under kept—likely due to all the recent rain—which took away just a bit from the overall experience compared to the other courses we played. Even so, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the setting itself is stunning. With a little more attention to conditioning, Ozark National could easily match the other top-tier courses in the area.

Ozarks national is a beautiful but extremely challenging course. I played it with a group of friends and we’re all average golfers from eight handicap to 20. My advice play at FORWARD and play 6000 yards or less. I know you wanna bang the drives, but it’s hard to see where they’re going on this track.Everything about it is exceptional, but it’s difficult.

Beautiful, challenging course in Branson, Missouri. Always seems to be windy on top of these peaks, but pay attention to pheasant & deer that like to cross your path somewhere on the course.

Beautiful course. We loved every hole. Challenging but very fun. They do KILL you on drink prices. You’re already paying a hefty price for golf but just crazy prices for drinks.

We played Payne’s Valley, Ozarks National, Buffalo Ridge and Top of The Rock. Out of the 3 18 hole courses everybody has a different ranking of Ozarks. Some thought it was the best, others the worst but mainly just depended on who played what course well. I would say Ozarks was the most challenging of the 3. The fairways and greens are large but if you miss the fairway you are going to have a hard time finding your ball. We played 10 days after aeration and you couldn’t tell at all. The course was in incredible shape. The staff is amazing. The marshals have water and wet towels every time you see them which was great on a hot day. My only complaint would be the pro shop. No restaurant or breakfast food. You have to go the whole way over to Payne’s valley. There’s food out on the course but just hot dogs and snacks (all complimentary by the way). One toilet in the club house as well which was odd. But all in all amazing course, staff and views.

Fantastic course. Extremely challenging with tons of blind teeshots. The views can't be beat. I can't wait to go back and play paynes valley and Buffalo ridge. You get free range balls. Also free lunch and snacks but only at the clubhouse after the 9th hole. 10/10 would recommend.

BIG Cedar Golf is heaven on earth. Every golfers dreams come true at this property. I got there early to take pictures and soak it all in. From the main pro shop you can see all the courses to get some great pictures. Range balls and practice area is available before the round if needed. Starter was late so I took off and he caught up with me finishing hole 1. The course was beautiful. The course was in perfect shape. The views are to die for. 10/10 would golf here in a heartbeat. I am actually coming back to play Payne's Valley upon opening. My only frustration with the round came with the grounds crew. Holes 2-5 I had to wait for the gentleman to mow the greens. Then, I battle a young man blowing off the greens with a blower. It almost felt like they were working along beside me as I were playing the round or racing to beat me to the next green/hole. There was 3 shots I remember distinctly were there was an employee standing directly between me and the hole. They would wave me on and not step out of the way. Basically resulting in my three worst shots of the day because I'm more worried about hitting the guys. The guys in the pro shop stated there would be maintenance on the course but 80 percent of my round had some sort of distraction that took away a little magic from the overall round. I wouldn't recommend a 7 am tee time unless you like gators, lawn equipment, and maintenance crew rolling through during every hole. Lack of food thanks to Rona. I would recommend playing any of Big Cedar courses. I may be ranting a little to much about maintenance but it was $150 round so IDK. A beautiful course needs upkeep, I'll get over it. Golf here asap.

Beautiful golf course and tough layout. Played on a sunny day but with 25+ mph winds this made the course laughably hard. Also the greens had been punched a few weeks before and they were still a bit sandy but it's all good. I'd love to play this again when the greens were fully recovered. Service and facilities were great. Course is an absolute gem and lots of people prefer it over Paynes valley. I'd highly recommend this track if you come to big cedar lodge.
