OZEN LIFE MAADHOO South Male Atoll

Reference, Ozen Maadhoo resort in Maldives. January 2026 We have just spent 4 amazing days and nights here. We have travelled to more than 6 other different Maldives resorts. Where I have not left a previous review, however, I felt it necessary to share with everyone just how extra special and amazing this beautiful luxury paradise resort really is. Firstly, from the moment you land, the sheer beauty of this particular resort is extra incredible. To top this the staff cannot do enough for you. Just to name a few, Sam the general manager, faiko the butler and hakeem, vapen and GA4, and the lovely manager Bei. I wish I could remember all their names, as some many extra special people that I would have liked to have given a mention. Nevertheless, they all treat you like a family member here, nothing is to much trouble. Secondly, the food here is outstanding and by far the best food we have ever experienced in the Maldives and we have only ever been 5 star but this is like a 7 star 🙂 Thirdly, we decided on 4 days at a beach villa and then travel to their sister Ozen bolifuhi resort to stay in a luxury water villa for a further 4 days. The beach villa’s here are stunning, you feel like it’s your own pure private white beach, literally no one around and yet the island is fully booked. A slice of paradise and now looking forward to the next four days. I will update.

This was an amazing experience which exceeded every expectation. The resort and location were idyllic but what really made this extraordinary was the staff and level of service. Service was warm and genuine with endless personal touches like remembering preferences, making special meals for us to showcase different cuisines, creating cocktails to match our tastes, sharing expertise about recipes and cuisine and pairing extraordinary wines with our meals. Activities and dining schedules were flexible enough to allow for a leisurely pace to our day. A week there felt like a month in terms of our level of relaxation. We stayed in both a water and beach villa and both were amazing. The beach villa offered seclusion and a tropical feel with the ocean and beach footsteps away from your door and the water villa offered the calming and serene Indian Ocean waves with wondrous sea life surrounding you. The all inclusive program here was beyond generous and we wanted for nothing - it was an exceptional value. |We are so grateful for the attentive service of our dining staff Shamna, Erika, and Shi, our favorite cocktail creator Danielle, Manu who consistently poured amazing wine, Sanjan who created a different fresh juice for me each morning and Chef Sonny and Chef Sambu who created special dishes for us. We will never forget the customized and extraordinary dining experience Chef Sambu made for us on our last night. This was a bucket list trip for us and our expectations which were high were exceeded every respect. We are already planning for our return.

A perfect Maldives experience. We stayed here for 10 days in December 2025. The island is beautiful, incredibly well maintained and with all facilities one would expect at a 5 star resort. Our room, a beachfront villa, was incredibly well designed and with the foliage around it, it felt like we were on our own the entire time. The restaurants all serve delicious food, and as an all inclusive resort, there was no limit on quantity of food or beverages. Will need some serious gym time to work off those extra kilos! Very high quality spa and staff always on hand to offer other services - diving, fishing etc, although we were far too lazy to do any of that. The staff are second to none and must mention Jalley, who was our waiter at the Chinese restaurant, and who went above and beyond to make everything perfect and bespoke for us. |All guests are assigned their own butler, ours, a very nice man called Simah, was always available to us, helped us get the most out of the resort and is a wonderful ambassador for Ozen.|My only criticism would be the airport to island transfer. We had to wait quite some time and information on our departure was not given correctly. Several times we were told they were waiting for ‘one more guest’ for that guest to then arrive and we were left hanging, which after an 11 flight already was a bit much. That said, once we were an Ozen, everything was perfect. Thank you to all concerned, we will be back.

An unforgettable stay — absolutely worth the money||OZEN Madhoo Maldives exceeded every expectation and was truly worth every penny. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and thoughtfully planned — including the boat transfer, which is conveniently included, making arrival and departure stress-free.||The property itself is stunning — pristine beaches, crystal-clear water, and beautifully designed villas that feel both luxurious and relaxing. Every corner of the resort feels well maintained and serene.||What really sets OZEN Madhoo apart is the exceptional staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. Traveling with kids can be challenging, but this resort is extremely kid-friendly. They accommodated many of our requests without hesitation. The kids club was fantastic, with fun activities, toys, and very kind staff. They even had bikes for little kids, which our children absolutely loved. The kitchen went above and beyond by preparing special food for our baby, which made a huge difference for us as parents.||A special shoutout to Mr. Varun, Director of Food, who truly made our stay extraordinary. He personally looked after us and ensured that special meals were prepared for us — even when they weren’t on the menu. His care and attention made us feel genuinely valued.||To top it all off, on our last day the team surprised us with a beautifully decorated room and a flower bath to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful, memorable gesture and the perfect way to end an incredible stay.||OZEN Madhoo delivers luxury with heart. We left with amazing memories and would absolutely return — highly recommended for couples, families, and anyone looking for a truly special Maldives experience.

This was our third stay at Ozen Life Maadhoo, and returning to the island felt familiar and welcoming. The new terminal made for a smooth and efficient arrival, and the transfer to the resort was just as swift and well organised. It was nice to meet the two new managers, Mai and Vipin, alongside familiar faces from previous stays; PJ, Danielle, Hussain, Zaain, Malak, Ahil, Shuddah, NuNu and Chef Sunny and Chef Sambavisan all of whom continue to bring warmth and genuine care to the experience.|During our stay, I unfortunately fell ill. The onsite doctors were incredibly helpful and supportive, and we were especially grateful that callouts were not charged. It made a difficult situation far more comfortable. The ladies at the spa also deserve recognition their service and professionalism were excellent.|We stayed in a Wind Villa again, which we’ve always loved. However, we did notice that as the resort continues to add a wider range of room types, there is a growing divide in guest experience that wasn’t as present during earlier visits.|While the people remain the resort’s greatest strength, we did feel that the overall experience fell short of the standard and value we have previously enjoyed, particularly given the price point. One notable disappointment was the lack of festive decoration or atmosphere, especially considering our stay fell from the 17th to 21st December. When we asked about this upon arrival, the range of dates provided felt unclear and inconsistent. For a resort that has always excelled in creating a sense of occasion, this was unexpected. However, once I raised my concerns we were greeted with a lovely bedroom decoration and the festive decs began to show on 21st and the huge Christmas tree on a floating deck arrived. Our favourite meal was at The Peking Chinese.|In summary, the staff were wonderful and we appreciated many aspects of our stay, but the resort did not fully meet the level of experience or festive expectation we have previously valued. We hope the resort continues to evolve with the same attention to detail and personal warmth that made our earlier visits so special.

Our stay at the Maldives resort was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel is stunning, with beautiful surroundings, well-maintained rooms, and a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything was clean, organized, and perfectly managed, making our vacation truly relaxing. A special thanks to our butler, Mr. Ayush who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. He was extremely polite, attentive, and always available to help with arrangements and requests. His warm hospitality made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of. We would also like to sincerely thank Chef Sunny for the delicious and beautifully prepared meals. The food quality, taste, and presentation were excellent, and special care was taken to meet our preferences. Every meal was a delightful experience.

We spent 6D5N at Ozen Life Maadhoo and the experience has been exceptional. The excursions included the package like snorkelling, dolphins cruise were well arranged and the duration was just right. ALL the staffs were friendly and the hospitality was top notch. It was a fantastic holiday for our family to enjoy, relax and experience Maldives. Our butler Shuhad was always on standby to answer any of our questions and requests. Service staff like sous chef Vishal, housekeeper Adam were so nice and helpful. The best experience of my life! Our stay at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO was absolutely unforgettable and truly the best experience of my life. We stayed in a Water Villa, and everything exceeded our expectations from the first day until the last. The water villa was beautiful, spacious, and perfectly designed, offering breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the sea. Waking up every morning surrounded by turquoise water was simply magical. The food was excellent, with great variety and high quality. A very special highlight was the M6m underwater restaurant, which was absolutely fantastic. Dining underwater while watching marine life was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The activities were amazing and very well organized. We enjoyed snorkeling directly on the house reef, where we saw beautiful corals, turtles, and many colorful fish. The sunset cruise was unforgettable — seeing dolphins swimming freely at sunset was magical. We also tried sunset fishing, which was a fun and unique experience. The Dolphin Base, Watersports & Dive Center were very professional, friendly, and well organized. The team made all activities safe, enjoyable, and memorable. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional, always smiling and ready to help. A very special thanks to our butler Forty, who was outstanding. He was kind, attentive, and extremely helpful. Whenever we asked for anything, he responded immediately and made our stay smooth and stress-free. Everything about this resort — the villa, food, activities, service, and atmosphere — was perfect. We highly recommend OZEN LIFE MAADHOO to anyone looking for a luxury, relaxing, and unforgettable Maldives experience. We will definitely come back!
