OZO Phuket

We had a great stay with 4 nights at the hotel. After 2 weeks in Airbnb villas, it was really nice to be welcomed by such friendly and service-minded staff. The staff throughout the entire hotel were very kind and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. We arrived 5 hours before check-in and were offered complimentary breakfast and access to the hotel facilities, and we also received our room at 12:00 PM. Highly recommended. The only thing I did not appreciate was that some of the staff asked us to give 5 stars here and mentioned their names, suggesting we could include them in the review. We would have given 5 stars anyway. Could miss a kids program with activites We had already been recommended to stay at this hotel by friends from Denmark 🇩🇰

Our stay at OZO Phuket was vibrant, refreshing, and perfectly suited for travelers who want to be in the middle of the action. Located in the heart of the lively Kata area, the hotel is just a 3–4 minute walk from Kata Beach. Step outside and you’re surrounded by restaurants, nightlife, street shopping, and everything that makes Kata energetic and fun. The hotel itself has a bright, open, and airy design. Natural light fills the spaces, and the overall aesthetic feels modern and slightly avant-garde — colorful, youthful, and buzzing with energy. It’s the kind of place that immediately lifts your mood. Dining is another strong point. The standout is Prego, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, which serves excellent pasta and classic Italian favorites in a stylish setting. It’s a great spot not only for hotel guests but also for visitors in the area. Breakfast is lively and well-organized, matching the upbeat atmosphere of the property. What truly makes OZO Phuket special is the service. The staff are energetic, friendly, and genuinely warm. There’s a noticeable sense of enthusiasm throughout the team, which adds to the dynamic vibe of the hotel. Overall, OZO Phuket delivers a contemporary, high-spirited stay in a prime Kata location — perfect for couples, friends, and families who enjoy being close to the beach while staying in the heart of the action.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and it truly exceeded our expectations. Fay at the reception was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. My daughter absolutely adored her and still talks about her! Adorable person!!!! Naan was also extremely friendly, positive, and very helpful throughout our stay. Congratulations to the whole team — from the very first day we felt genuine warmth and truly welcomed. The manager Damir was always present and doing his best to provide solutions whenever needed, which we really appreciated. We stayed for 21 days and had an amazing time. It is a fantastic hotel for families and children. We will definitely come back! ★★★★★

We really enjoyed our stay at OZO Hotel. The rooms are clean, modern, and new, and the breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. The hotel has great pools for both adults and children. The beach is only a 3-minute walk away, and right across the road there are many great cafés, massage salons, and a night market where you can enjoy delicious local food. Special thanks to Steve at the reception — an excellent employee, very friendly, professional, and always helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

I was very happy with the 7 days I spent at OZO. It was cleaned every day and the room was cool. It was close to the beach and the surrounding commercial area. The staff were very friendly (Thank you to the all-rounder at the pool! And thank you to AON for helping me check in and check out so kindly). Thai people are all kind and helpful people who are grateful for the convenience of travelers. Therefore, travelers should also be polite and make an effort to keep the place clean. Thank you OZO.

We stayed at OZO in low season (September) with our 2 children. We had a great time. The hotel is very close to Kata beach, and over the road from the night markets. There’s also a convenience shop over the road and plenty of massage / beautician shops. The pools were great, the kids loved the slides and we enjoyed getting pool side lunch most days. The hotel’s restaurant Prego did amazing food, we went there multiple times. The kids also enjoyed the movie night, and loved having bunk beds in our hotel room with an English speaking kids TV channel. The kids also loved the breakfast buffet, which was a relaxing way to start the day with lots of choices for them and us. Huge special mention to Nong, who looked after us so well, and took special care of the kids. She gave us excellent recommendations on close by kid friendly activities like the dinosaur mini golf and petting zoo. Thank you so much Nong!!

We had a very positive stay at OZO Phuket and would highly recommend it, especially for families with young children. Location & Amenities (10/10): The location is truly prime.It's just a few minutes' walk to Kata Beach and directly opposite the fantastic Kata Street Market, which we frequented daily for dinners and snacks. The area is also packed with excellent massage shops. Having a 7-Eleven directly across the street and a Watsons pharmacy next door made everything incredibly convenient. Family-Friendly & Service: The hotel is brilliantly designed for families.It feels very safe and is fun for kids, allowing parents to relax. The staff are fantastic—attentive, hard-working, and dedicated to guest satisfaction. Our room was perfectly located near the gym and the main entrance, making access easy. Honest Assessment (The "But"): It's important to manage expectations:this is not a luxury hotel, and it rightly caters to families on a budget. This is reflected in the breakfast, which offers plenty of choices but is of average quality. A common issue,which we encountered even in low season, was that the pool chairs were often occupied by towels, making it difficult to find a spot. However, with the beach and other attractions so close, this wasn't a major problem for us. Verdict: I would definitely recommend OZO Phuket for families with children under 8.It’s a place where kids can have fun in a safe environment while parents enjoy the incredible local amenities. We will certainly return with our family and friends.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights, and it ended up being one of the best family trips we’ve had. The location is incredibly convenient, with direct access to the beach through the pool area, so getting to the sea took just a minute. The room was very spacious and easily fit all four of us. The beds and mattresses were comfortable, and the room was cleaned every day while we were out. It always felt fresh and well-maintained. The staff were amazing. Every single person we met was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We even learned a few Thai words thanks to them. A special shoutout to Damir at the reception. He’s truly exceptional at his job, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Meeting people like him makes the stay feel even better. Breakfast was great as well. Only breakfast is included for free, but the hotel restaurant also serves delicious lunch and dinner if you decide to order. Honestly, the breakfast alone was filling enough to last most of the day. The hotel has multiple swimming pools for both kids and adults, and the entire territory is huge, clean, and peaceful. The open-air lobby has a relaxing seating area with AC, and just outside the hotel there are markets and shops where you can eat well or grab souvenirs. A 7-Eleven is right across the road, which is super convenient. There were absolutely no downsides to our stay. Everything was comfortable, accessible, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Phuket. It’s spacious, beautiful, and truly perfect for families.
