15 Best Airbnbs in Bangkok | Condé Nast Traveler

"Located near the Jim Thompson House Museum, Chinatown, and Lumphini Park, I found this modern, Scandinavian-style two-bedroom to be stylish and well-crafted, with traditional Thai pillows and throws adding local charm. The main bedroom is huge with a king bed while the smaller second room has bunk beds—ideal for a family with small children. When tired from exploring you can walk down to the first-floor spa for a sublime Thai massage; note the apartment is on the second floor and there is no elevator." - Katie Lockhart

The hotel is a great value for the price. It is close to a ferry stop which was great for going to see the Grand Palace and other sites. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. It is a little off the mainstream path and taxi drivers had difficulty finding it. It is near the Sheraton Orchid Hotel but don't tell the taxi driver until you have set a price as they will charge more. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was fine .. nothing special but enough. The room was clean and comfortable.

Lovely little family run hotel clean and pleasant rooms and a cosy area downstairs you relax with tea/coffee facilities. Breath of fresh air following slightly disappointing stay in one of the huge modern hotel complexes. Very friendly staff. Didn't pay for breakfast but seeing it in the morning it looked very good and good value. Great location - 2 minutes walk to ferry which is fastest and cheapest way to get to main attractions and temples. Would stay again.

The shower itself could use an upgrade. There was an info folder in the room but when I asked the staff, they didn't know. And the fridge and a/c made a lot of noise at night.||Friendly staff, very comfy bed, big room, good location (close to the express boat pier, street food, 7/11, massage places). Good for a few days.||The Sheraton is next door, there's a good deck outside overlooking the river. Good for a drink (bit pricey though). And if you go all the way straight (with Sheraton on your left), just keep going till u pass Co vn Kessels (bike tour place) and go through a small alley, there's a huge local street food market!!

While the hotel itself was very nice and clean, we did not find it was the best location for us. We had a difficult time getting taxis to take us back to Bangrak and wanting to charge us an upcharge because it was further away. If you’re stopping through Bangkok to see temples I would stay more centrally located. ||Also only one of our windows had blackout curtains while another did not and on the one day I was supposed to sleep in we were up at 7 am bc the light coming through the window without a curtain.

Solid budget option. Staff were friendly and great - no problems there. Room was a little dated, showers/taps took forever to heat up if they did at all. WiFi was good but in and out over the time we stayed. Location was good, but we were there during Songkran so everything was closed. Good for budget conscious travellers, but I will go for something with a pool etc next time. Thanks to the staff for being so friendly!

I did a lot of research on areas and hotels in bangkok and it paid off. ||||Beautiful hotel with traditional decor in a quite street near the china town area of bangkok. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Short walk to river taxi boat and the nearest sky train station was only around 10-15 min walk down a road, small market and good restaurants were situated just before the station.||||I would definitely return given the chance

We had the opportunity to stay here again for seven nights and was pleased that it again surpassed our expectations for a budget hotel. Rooms were spacious, towels and toiletries were replenished daily, it has a functional elevator, and staff were very friendly. Fruits and snacks are available at the lobby along with coffee and other refreshments. Will definitely recommend and return to this hotel.

The first impression when I did check in was the artistic boost wherever I moved. The room where I stayed was cozy and super pleasurable. I felt like I've been there before. Overall experience is very good and I m sure I will stay there next time I come to Bangkok.
