We stayed at P. Quattro Relax hotel when we went to Petra from 12/24 to 12/26’25. Overall, it was a very poor experience, especially hotel’s service attitude (the day-time front desk staff and its manager). In my opinion it does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. Hardware-wise it is a 3-Star. Service-wise it is very low.
The Wi-Fi connection was unstable throughout our stay. The room heater function was not described clearly on the hand-held controller, and we had to call the night-shift front desk to get it functioning (thanks to the night-shift guy). In addition, the water for shower was not hot enough (our friends in other room felt the same); staff told us that they needed to adjust and push higher the water temperature. Besides, in our bathroom the hot/cold water handle was installed incorrectly— hot water only came out when the handle was turned to the blue (cold) side.
The service attitude was very poor overall. The day time check-in staff was not polite. On the morning of 12/25, we needed to catch an 8:30 a.m. bus for our travel group. We arrived at the breakfast area at 7:40 a.m. After taking some hot food with a plate in hand, I went to the salad & ham & bread area, where all plates were tightly covered with plastic wraps. I could not open the plastic cover myself while one hand was holding the plate. And there was no room for me to put down my plate. I politely asked the manager if he could ask a staff to help open them for me and other guests. He replied that I can open the wraps of the plates that I wanted to eat myself. After putting my plate on our table, I went back to open one plate that I wanted, took some food and walked back to our table. What was most disappointing was that the manager then went to the plate and loosely covered it again with plastic wrap, which made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
I reported this incident to our tour guide the following day. He contacted the hotel, and the manager’s attitude improved noticeably thereafter. While this change was appreciated, it did not offset the overall negative experience during our stay.
In summary, this hotel’s facilities are inadequate, and it had a very unsatisfactory customer service in our stay. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend against selecting this hotel for your travel accommodations.
