11 ways to enjoy Penang on your next visit - SilverKris

"A refurbished heritage shophouse on Campbell Street in Chinatown that functions as a one-stop indie spot: a café, stationery store, and retail space for a local designer, plus minimalist Airbnb rooms named after famous contemporary writers — ideal for travellers looking to pause, shop and stay in a compact creative setting." - SilverKris

Stylish, peaceful and orderly oasis in the increasingly tacky centre of Georgetown. Anyone interested in design, Illustration and japanese stationery would probably get a kick out of the shop. They sell some thoughtful souvenirs of Penang too. There's a small cafe at the back of the shop. The drinks and baked goods are expensive but extremely high quality. There is no wifi and (temporarily) no toilet.

1. ❌️ No toilet entry even if you order drinks here, as I scroll through the reviews here, toilet has been under maintenance for months 🙄. 2. Infected indoor plants, which might be bad for your lungs if you are enjoying your drinks here.

Comprehensive selection of stationary both locals and international products. A must visit for those art enthusiasts and those who love korean/japanese stationary. Well maintained and there is also a coffee shop to enjoy your readings and relax

This stationery store has extensive range of pens, notebooks and other painting materials. They even sell clothes. Mostly items imported from Japan with very little locally made products. I was lucky to find the fountain pen ink that I couldn’t get in Japan!! Overall the service is friendly and helpful even though they have many customers ion the shop. It’s well designed and with natural lighting into the center of the shop so it’s very enjoyable to browse around.

P.66 is a minimalist café cleverly tucked within a stationery store, offering a serene hideaway amidst the vibrant streets of George Town. It’s a place where the graceful synergy of café and shop invites you to linger. Whether you’re journaling, snacking, or simply pausing, it’s worth a stop.

The staff were professional and friendly. I asked for an Americano with orange juice but they offered their own version, an Espresso Sunrise, instead, assuring me they’d gladly make my original request if I didn’t like it. I appreciated their thoughtful approach and accepted the drink without hesitation. After all, giving others a chance is also giving myself one. The coffee turned out to be uniquely delightful— just to my liking.
