Pablo Gargallo Museum

Loved that Art museum. Many sculptures of Pablo Gargallo and paintings. You can see how how he was designing the sculptures. You can rush it in one hour visit, sadly I missed a floor because it was closing and it is closing early, friendly staff. Recommend it!

Excellent museum with beautiful sculptures in a wonderful palazzo style building. The new annex is difficult to navigate, but well worth it. Also check out the contemporary temporary exhibits, as they are very creative. I was especially taken by surprise by the negative sculptures and the concave and convex shapes that cast beautiful shadows on the wall in the upper floor exhibits. The paintings from this artist are also very illuminating and the statues of horses found in the courtyard or some of the best in town. The admission ticket for this museum it's covered by tickets to the Roman ruins museums so definitely get the whole set of the package.

I didn't know anything about Pablo Gargallo before visiting the museum, but decided to visit based on all the positive reviews I saw for it and they were entirely right! Gargallo's artwork is absolutely stunning and so is the building in which it is housed!

This is the museum you need to checkout if you're in Zaragoza. Such an amazing building, phenomenal sculptures and how the museum explained them/the process of making them. Hands down best museum I've been to in a while.

I cannot recommend this enough. I went with 0 expectations and came out more than pleasantly surprised. The exhibits are truly unique in my opinion. The staff was great too. Must visit while in Zaragoza. There is a 9€ ticket that includes this museum and the 4 archaeology museums (Caesaraugusta).

The magnificent horses caught our attention as we wandered through Zaragoza. The horses were commissioned for the 1929 Spanish Olympic Games held in Barcelona where more of Pablo Gargallo’s sculptures are in situ. The museum itself is a treasure of Pablo Gargallo’s work, the exhibits detail his working and show a range of his styles. It was fascinating visit and extremely good value. The area for people with additional needs is well thought out ensuring accessibility to all .

There are few sculptures on the street leaving to the museum. They were the appetizers for me. The museum was on siesta break but I decided to come back. Pablo Gargallo's works are are amazing and the exhibition shows interestingly his periods. Highly recommended.

Really cute small museum, very relaxed, well organized and beautiful. If you have the time, pay a visit!

I was lucky enough to visit on a Sunday and admission was free. This was the museum I had most been looking forward to in Zaragoza. It was stunning! Usually I see paintings as opposed to sculpture so this was a nice change. This artist was super talented. His work speaks for itself and he really had some great pieces. The museum itself is also really really beautiful. I loved the layout and the incorporated video lessons as well on his process.
