Pacha cocina Cafayate

I rarely write reviews but this place exceeded my expectations and deserves 5 stars across the board. Great food, quality ingredients. You can tell they really thought through each dish. Cuisine was a fresh take on classic dishes - really enjoyed the dumplings and raviollinis.

It's probably the best restaurant in Cafayate, highly recommended. We tried, trout, salads, pasta and beef. All the dishes were excellent. Great service and prices on the high side. We will return.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent food and wine offerings. The service was professional, friendly and fast. I tried the llama tartar for a starter and it was the first time I ever ate lama, and I loved it. It was delicious and well presented. The meat I had was also good. The wines are a bit more expensive than other establishments, but we had an incredible Cabernet Franc. Would recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience.

Service and ambiance were spot on, but the food just didn’t deliver. The crudo de trucha had an odd smoky, bitter flavor, and the sauce was fruity yet also bitter—maybe grapefruit? The carpaccio de ternera was underwhelming. Would give the food 3 stars, the rest was great. Not a memorable experience. Don’t let me deter your visit, many people seem to enjoy the place.

Absolutely delicious food! It was different than all the other restaurants in town. The attention was also very nice, and the server spoke English- which was very helpful. Incredible experience, I would 100% recommend this spot!!

Amazing dishes, with unique combinations. Ojo de bife, lasagna de osobucco y tortelinis were delicious! Pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Amazing place in Cafayate, the food, wine and service was great. We had the 7 courses menu, one the pricey side of course but worth it in my opinion. The beef was just amazing, one the best I ever had. I recommend to book as the place was full when we went for dinner.

Best meal we had in Argentina! The service was excellent and atmosphere of the restaurant was very lovely. We ordered the carpaccio starter and bife de chorizo and cappelletti for the mains. The beef was cooked perfectly and they asked how much to cook the pasta (I requested al dente) and it was also spot on. Finished with tiramisu and flan, all paired with a Colomé Malbec. Although it was one of the pricier meals we had while on our trip, it was well worth it. I’d recommend if you are able to while visiting Cafayate.
