Google
After dining at their sister restaurant, Zephyr, I was eager to try one of their original locations. There were three of us, and we ordered about nine dishes, which turned out to be the perfect amount for us. The service was exceptional, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The food arrived quickly, and everything was delicious. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you're in London!

Google
The food at Pachamama is fantastic, full of flavor and well-presented. However, the service was disappointing. We were seated on time but rushed out after just 1 hour and 10 minutes, even though there were empty tables. The short booking slot left us with no time to properly settle the bill or enjoy our meal. It felt like the restaurant prioritizes turnover over customer experience, which is a shame given the quality of the food.

Google
Epic tasting menu that is sure to fill you up! One thing to note is that the tasting menu is a minimum of two people, I came once by myself and was told I’d need to a la carte (which made complete sense given the tasting menu was a bunch of full size dishes that were shared). highlight for me was probably the eggplant dish - extremely flavorful - and the duck rice which had a crazy good sauce. Would come again

Service was super attentive & friendly without being overbearing. Standout dish had to be the pork chicharrones 🌟 they were so good we had to do it twice ✌🏽 Paired perfectly with the aubergine which was also incredible. Couldn’t fault the smash burger or chicken and waffles but the pork starter will be living in my head rent free 🤤🤤🤤 Thanks for a fab brunch, will be back for some ceviche which I’m sure is just as good as Chicama 🎣

Google
The food in this place was exceptional. There was a pork belly dish we had to order twice. I really recommend the brunch chicken and waffles, the steak and chips with shoestring fries was also so good. Nice cocktails. Staff were super nice and let us try a shot of something fruity- was it Pisco? The burnt cheesecake is to die for and was a generous slice. The only thing is the cost is pretty high and portions a bit small in my view (excluding cheesecake). It was a pricey, but special lunch for two.

Just discovered that Peruvian food in London is perfect for the Chinese palate (and it‘s beautiful)! Great value, delicious food, and beautiful presentation. 😝 Went for brunch but ordered non-traditional dishes. Loved these: 👏 DUCK ON RICE - Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and tender with slightly spicy saffron rice and a soft-boiled egg. 👏 PORK BELLY CHICHARRONES - Like a less sweet Dongpo pork, melt-in-your-mouth with caramelized aroma. 👏 CORN RIBS - Incredibly fragrant grilled corn! 👏 PERUVIAN FRIED CHICKEN - Extremely tasty and tender! 👏 PERUVIAN SMASHBURGER + FRIES - Wagyu beef burger, delicious fries. 👏 Desserts: / PERUVIAN CHOCOLATE - Rich mousse with puffed quinoa. / BURNT CHEESECAKE - Good value, large portion. 😌The entire restaurant is beautifully decorated, super comfortable and ideal for brunch with friends. They have botomless drinks. Also perfect for a date💕. Every photo turns out great (couldn’t stop taking selfies😜).

We visited Pachamama Restaurant in Mayfair for the first time today. The entrance is a bit discreet, so it’s easy to walk past it while trying to find the place. Once inside, the décor and ambiance were lovely, but what truly stood out was the food—it was absolutely exceptional. The chicharrones, croquettes, and duck were particularly outstanding. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, especially the person who appeared to be the manager and a young blonde waitress. They were kind enough to help us take a photo, which added a nice touch to our experience. Unfortunately, the payment process dampened what had been an otherwise fantastic visit. A young brunette waiter was overly insistent about the service charge. While I was paying by card, he repeatedly emphasized that the service charge was included but that we could add an additional tip. His persistent pressure left us with a bad impression. We were already aware that the service charge is included, as it’s clearly stated on the bill, and the card machine also displays an option for adding an extra tip. This pushy and unprofessional behavior left us with a sour note at the end of an otherwise enjoyable experience

Google
Ordered vegetarian dishes which were all so tasty. Portions seemed small to look at but were the right amount, where you aren't left in a food coma. The glazed aubergine was a dish that I'd never come across and the flavours were amazing. Highly recommend. I'm still not over it. I went with a few other people and they very much enjoyed the seafood dishes. Food was served promptly.

Yelp
Inventive and Wild I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here starting with the candlelit dungeon ambiance. Music is slightly too loud for an intimate occasion but would be great for a celebration. All dishes are beautifully presented. Bar and drinks look great although I didn't partake. *shishito peppers unremarkable *fried chicken delightfully crisp and boneless dark meat(!) with an eastern flair. Came with sweet sauce that was slightly off the mark to go with the chicken but exotic. *crab appetizer also didn't work, oddly smooth crab filling with a funky taste. Fried outside was really good in an interesting shape. *lamb belly stole the show; tangy, sweet, crispy and delicious. I wish the inside was rendered slightly more but it was great. Overall, not everything worked but it was fun to try and still overall a worthwhile trip.

Yelp
A last minute lunch stop success story. I will be dreaming of the chicharrones for the rest of time.

Yelp
Terrific tapas and drinks. To start with, padron peppers were spicy and set the mood. The corn and garlic tamales were a terrific follow-up. The peruvian rice paired well with the mapo tofu. The kicker though was the spicy Moscow-mule called Bebe Gaston (mentioned on their website - https://www.pachamamalondon.com/east-cocktails), made with Rocoto chilli, lime and ginger beer. Now that's a spicy meal. Great DJ as well.

Yelp
The restaurant has a great vibe - not too stuffy like the rest of the neighborhood, but nicer than a pub. Young and lively crowd, but not in an obnoxious way. From the start, the service was great - I was solo, but the hostess (whose name I didn't catch!) helped me find a seat at the crowded bar. Tudor, the bartender, was fantastic - not only having extensive knowledge of the drinks menu but also of food pairings. The drinks and food were great, and Tudor gave great recs. The pisco sours were my favorite! The food is tapas, sharing style, but I was recommended plates that would be suitable for one. Standout was the leek dish - the best leeks I've had!

Yelp
Pachamama was a huge hit on our last visit to London. It's just the right mix of trendy and casual, and the food was exceptional. The beef short rib was a standout, and we also really enjoyed the veggie-centric dishes. Pretty much all of the snacks were a bit hit as well! Cocktails were fine, didn't shine as much as the food, but there are also great beers/wines to choose from. I'd say it's a must when in Marylebone!

Yelp
What a delicious place for cocktails and food! We had dinner and there were multiple dishes that were vegan. I especially recommend the aubergine dish, the plantain dish, and the carrot quinoa dish. The dishes are small and for two people we ordered 6 dishes. Expansive drink menu with creative cocktails. Would recommend!

Yelp
This place can be a little hard to find, as there's only a small opening from the road with stairs that lead downstairs. The atmosphere and decor are fantastic - it's a very aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Service has been great on the two occasions I've been. Food - I don't know much about Peruvian food so this review may not be for those who have a better informed palate, but I did enjoy their unusual dishes. Some of the things we tried were the: Padron peppers - it is salty but I loved it English berries on a quinoa waffle - not a big fan of the combination of flavours Peruvian fried chicken (savoury) waffle - would recommend Peruvian chocolate topping on a sweet potato waffle - unusual flavours which I enjoyed. Would I go again: maybe, the reason for the hesitancy being that their menu is a little limited in terms of options if you've already been there twice.

Yelp
What a deliciously healthy dinner we had at Pachamama! The atmosphere is romantic, with a lot of different intimate seating. The entrance itself is exciting because it's just a lovely staircase leading downstairs... to what!? You'll have to find out. We started out with the brown crab yucca churros and smoked cheddar tequeños. The cheese tequenos were not terribly unique but yummy nevertheless. The crab churros were really interesting, sweet and savoury- crunchy on the outside and softer on the inside. Very good! All of the ceviches really stool out. We only eat fish and we were really happy here- my favourite was the sea bass ceviche- a LOT of citrus but it really worked. The mushroom ceviche was also incredible. I was really impressed with this place. The service was excellent, atmosphere wonderful, and the food divine. yayayayyaya

Yelp
Wonderful! New favourite Peruvian in Marylebone Booked a table for Sunday brunch at Pachamama after seeing incredible Instagram posts of their sweet & savoury waffles. Since opening, this place has been on my list, initially for their all day menu but as a brunch enthusiast I was glad to see they have a brunch menu now. The interior is lovely, which makes up for the lack of windows as the venue is below street level. The designer has great taste, and the room is full of unique and welcoming pieces. From the tableware, dining chairs, artwork - super cozy. Service is excellent and our waiter was helpful, kindly explained the different elements of the dishes and offered his recommendations. Normally, I am a savoury gal but I could not help myself when I read 'Sweet Potato Waffle with peanut butter, grilled plantain, cacao nibs, coconut, peanuts' on the menu. Beautiful, colorful presentation. The waffle was fluffy and not too heavy. The dish was sweet, but not overly sweet. Peanut butter is my favourite thing on the planet, and this waffle had a great combination of toppings - just the right amount of peanut butter without it overpowering or feeling too indulgent. Subtle, creamy and a little salty. Loved it. Paired my waffle with a great black Americano - perfect brunch. Tested the 'Smoked cheddar tequenos' which were delicate little filo parcels filled with smoked cheddar and paired with a sweet & tangy sauce. Probably didn't need to order these as I was waffle-full, but as a cheese lover I can say these would be my bar snack of choice. As recommended by our waiter, my friend had the 'Sweet Potato Waffle with Peruvian fried chicken, yacon & aji sauce'. This is a fun, lighter version of the American classic. All smiles, she cleared her plate. With a side of 'Asparagus, Onsen egg, peanuts' she was also happily brunch-stuffed. We will both be coming back, definitely for brunch. But more importantly, I have to test their lunch/dinner menu and cocktails. Highly recommend - as a lover of Peruvian food, this is a new favourite in the city.

Yelp
The options of ceviche and pisco sours available on food and cocktail menus across the capital demonstrate Londoners' appetite for Peruvian cuisine. It's therefore unsurprising that a few swanky Peruvian restaurants have popped up, riding on the coattails of this demand. The interest in Latin-American food stems from its vivacious colours, a healthy focus on fish and grilled meats and its reliance on fresh herbs and ingredients. The balance of acidic citrus flavours with hints of spicy heat makes it highly palatable- after all, our taste buds have been seasoned to Mexican flavours and we're eager to embrace something equally bold and delicious. One of the establishments that specialises in Peruvian fare is Pachamama, located in Marylebone, just a hop and skip away from the bustle of Oxford Street. Inconspicuous from street level, a descending stairway separates central London from a vibrant hacienda of rustic-cum-chic décor. Despite its subterranean setting, the restaurant doesn't feel stale or claustrophobic- the atmosphere is breezy and lively and the chirpy waiting staff flow between tables, constantly demonstrating an open and warm demeanour. Pieces of rustic furniture- think stripped antique sideboards and retro fringed lampshades- feature alongside exposed brickwork and whitewashed walls. Lightbulbs hang from strings overhead and inaugural visits are marked by a vase of simple white blossoms placed on the table. These elements intermingle to create a space that is fun, casual and quirky. We were drawn to the idea of a Peruvian brunch, a new menu offered by the restaurant, and made a reservation for a Saturday afternoon. It was busy, but the floor was well staffed, so servers were always poised and approachable. I immediately spotted the tell-tale sign of a visual feast: mobile phones and cameras were at the ready to capture each plate as it arrived. It wasn't difficult to see why- the plates whizzing by were ornate and assembled with an artistic touch- each one a humble waffle in glorious Technicolor. Our waitress was enthusiastic and went through the brunch menu with us in detail. Waffles were made from either sweet potato (gluten-free) or quinoa, the former a naturally soft and sweet base while the latter was more textured and dense. Selections of sweet and savoury toppings were possible, six in total. Waffles were larger dishes and were best shared- especially because they came out of the kitchen as they were prepared. It was suggested that we order one of the sides each. I immediately honed in on the beetroot cured salmon, avocado and poached egg while my boyfriend leaped on the buttermilk fried chicken with yacon & aji sauce. I also ordered the aubergine with pecans and smoked yogurt on the side- apparently the restaurant's most popular choice. My salmon was infused with a stripe of blazing red from beetroot and the avocado was perfectly ripe. The egg was poached to perfection and burst its golden yolk with a gentle prod. The flavours were fresh, simple and satisfying. There were no table sauces or accompanying condiments on the plate, however- the squishy potato waffle would have benefited from this, as a single egg didn't provide much yolk and it was slightly dry as a consequence. The side was more of a revelation. The pieces of aubergine were tender, pulling apart effortlessly and revealing a soft, fleshy inside. Marinated in a smoky sauce that was rich and moreish, it sat in a creamy yogurt bed and was generously topped with crunchy chopped pecans. The textures and nuances made this a standout dish- it vacillated from being sweet, smoky and sticky in a single forkful. The fried chicken topping was perhaps the star of the waffle menu- it was extremely popular with adjacent diners that afternoon and irrefutably delicious. This boasted a crunchy exterior with a perfectly moist centre without a single bite of stodgy mush. The sweet sauce drizzled over the dish was like honey. The syrupy sweetness sang in unison with the savoury chicken (because sweet and savoury can coexist when done properly). The food was visually impressive and the service was superlative, but I recommend that you select your dishes with the intention to share- we chose a waffle each, both from the savoury menu, and lamented not going one sweet and one savoury. My waffle also arrived promptly, but I was almost finished by the time the second one arrived. Be prepared for tapas style brunching. We had an enjoyable and tasty brunch at Pachamama- the ambience was more lively and casual than I expected and service was impeccable. The food was artistically presented and appealing. The only deterrent was the price point, so we'll be limiting our brunch trips to Peru for special occasions- unless we come across some lost Inca gold, that is.

Yelp
Sundays are for brunching. If all my Sundays started with Pisco sour cocktails I would be a very drunk and happy lady. ...Not that it is very hard to get me rather tipsy. With it's discrete easy-to-miss ground floor entrance and distressed wooden staircase leading into the basement to a surprisingly voluminous space; Pachamama feels a secret underground hideout. Inside, it's as if you've stepped into Nana's home with her wonderfully eccentric decor, and bric-a-brac artfully placed around the restaurant. Think muted colours, warm lighting and an air of carefree relaxation. Cue triple orders of Miraflores: Barsol Quebranta Pisco, Mandarine Napoleon, strawberries, lychee, lime, orange blossom, bitters and violet foam. Dangerously delicious, as you only faintly taste any alcohol, but by the end of the glass; I was red-faced and semi slurring my speech.... Maybe just one more... The menu is small, but wonderfully thought-out, themed around small bites and grouped into snacks; land, sand and soil all priced between £5 - £14 (during lunch). To soak up the alcohol, so I don't just lay cross-eyed on mama's floor. We ordered almost the whole menu. Food comes as and when it is ready, so prepare to eat endlessly, until you can't breathe any more. This also adds to the relaxed atmosphere... Peruvian fried chicken, I have to admit I was a little blown away by the juiciness of the chicken encased in the light, crispy batter. Next up we had the Brown crab and yuca churros. Oh yes, you heard correct. Crab churros... you half expect these not to work as well as they do, but these were utterly gorgeous. Think cassava paste with crab, deep fried and coated in citric sugar. Fluffy yet crispy, with notes of shellfish. A must-try! House sea bass and samphire ceviche was refreshing as it was light and excellently paired with the different flavour combinations. Sweet and sour. You have to just admire the artfully plated Salmon tiradito, with beetroot and avaocado. It was a real feast for the eyes, and almost too pretty to eat. Or maybe not.... when is anything too pretty to eat?! NOT EVER. This was a power bomb of flavour with the sweetness of the beetroots perfectly paired with the subtle sweetness of the salmon and creaminess of the avocado. There was one dish that was the heart throb, the lime-light stealer, the sex bomb of the afternoon. He was the Pork belly chicharrones. Think sticky sweet, uber soft and tender pork medallions with 10x intensity of flavour. Literally sucker punched so hard, your eyes pop and you look over and give your companion that silent nod of approval. This is one dish that if you blink too fast will be gone in a heart beat. You can never go wrong with some padron peppers sprinkled with flakes of sea salt. Brunch isn't quite complete without a side order of quinoa waffles with bacon and yacon syrup. Oh yes that does mean that it is gluten free! These quinoa waffles were very soft yet crispy, completely well balanced between sweet and savoury. The aubergine, smoked yoghurt with peanuts was one of my other highlights. I can't seem to string the right words to describe the flavour. It was just everything I wanted it to be. Soft gooey texture, with crunchy peanuts resting on a generous smear of smoked yoghurt. Juicy. Isn't she a a sight for sore eyes. Crispy, yet soft deep-fried slices of plantain with feta, black olives and yacon syrup. Normally I am quite the vege snub, but the vegetarian options at Pachamama were some of THE BEST dishes on the menu. The plantain was perfection, sweet plantain laced with yacon syrup with the saltiness of the feta and olives was just pure pleasure. I could have easily scooped the whole lot and eaten all myself. My least favourite was the Crispy lamb belly, with jalepeno and miso. The lamb was alittle too tough and over cooked unfortunately. 'Duck on rice' such a simple description for the bounty presented before me. Succulent duck breast was cooked to medium-well drizzled with with a rich jus and resting on a airy pile of coriander-infused rice. Admittedly, the desserts at Pachamama were not as strong as their mains. But after such an afternoon of gluttony, they were the most worthy companion to finish off the meal. Basil sorbet, with meringue gems and blackberry coulis; was very refreshing and tart in all the right places. I just wished there was more of that basil sorbet. Fragrant, subtle and delicious. Followed by the Peach leche tart, this was again very refreshing surprisingly. I was expecting this to be rather rich and decadent. Very subtle hints of peach. There isn't much I can fault with Pachamama. The hidden-away feel of the restaurant, only adds to it's charm. Just a few side streets off Bond Street make it an ideal date spot with the girls, or even for a date for those killer cocktails. http://yummei.com/2016/05/pachamama.html

Yelp
Omg this place is amazing. The flavors are so absurd but the food is DELICIOUS. The lamb belly chicharrones....OUT OF THIS WORLD. And the dessert, I was so full but I couldn't stop eating it. If I ever come back to London this will be the first place I will stop by again.

Yelp
I was excited all week to try out Pachamama's Peruvian twist on the classic weekend brunch. In particular, their waffle menu has been on my radar for a while thanks to Instagram. The restaurant itself is very pretty. The décor is simple yet very classy with an excellent use of daylight. Clusters of large tables mean that you can easily rally a big group for a nice brunch outing. You can pick either quinoa or sweet potato for your waffles and we get both to try. This is the first time I have had waffles made of either ingredient so I am intrigued. Topping wise, my sister opts for the peanut butter and grilled plaintain one and I , quite predictably, zone in onto the Peruvian chocolate and quinoa ice cream. The quinoa waffle works very nicely. The flavour is delicate and the waffle is very fluffy and light. The toasted quinoa ice cream pairs balances out the rich flavour of the chocolate ganache. In contrast, the sweet potato waffle is a bit denser and the flavour of the waffle is far more overpowering leading us to think that it might have been a better choice for a savoury topping than the sweet. Slightly less satisfactory than the first one we had as the toppings weren't terribly exciting either. Not vastly different from slapping a few slices of banana onto peanut butter. Regardless, both waffles were presented beautifully, complete with edible flowers. Service was also prompt throughout and all in all, it was a lovely brunch experience. If you are out to try something different than pancakes and scrambled eggs, Pachamama should be top on your list!

Yelp
Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. It feels like sitting in a garden. The waiters are fun and attentive. The food is delicious - it is nice to share the dishes at the table and thereby taste a bit of it all. It is easy to order some more on the go. :)

Yelp
Pachamama serves up delightful Peruvian small plates with a fun ambiance and reasonable prices. The restaurant interior is nicely-decorated and homey, with wood finishings and a cozy feel. The food was absolutely delicious, particularly the fried chicken, the ceviche, and the duck on rice. Come with a few friends and share multiple dishes amongst yourselves for the best experience. Overall a lovely place for a tasty casual-yet-classy meal.

Yelp
4.5/5 Um...seeing the poor reviews on here kinda shocked me. Maybe I went on a really good day, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. If price is a deterrent, definitely go for lunch: they offer most of the same dishes and ceviches but all are marked at £6...very reasonable. I'm pretty sure I loved or really enjoyed everything I sampled except the fried aubergine. Favorites, aka must-try's: lamb belly with jalapeno & miso sea bass, samphire, tiger's milk, radish and sweet potato sweet plaintain, feta, English malt The decor's cool too: hacienda meets modern aesthetic. Quiet day when I came, but I heard it's quite lively (esp. the bar) at night. Very nice service. Would definitely return!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. First off the ambiance is a quaint garden feel with surprisingly a lot of light for a restaurant that is underground. There is even a machine that will print out your Instagram photos for £1 each. As for the food: if you're getting an appetizer make sure to order the crab churros! My friend who hates seafood said the only seafood she will ever eat is the crab churros. Though it sounds a bit off, the combo works and the fried crunchy texture combined with the crabs softness leave a mouth watering effect for your tastebuds. We also ordered the porkbelly and enjoyed that too. If you are coming here for brunch they offer a unique option of waffles: quinoa or squash with something on top (there are several options that are both sweet and savory). I got the squash waffle with fried chicken on top - DELICIOUS. The squash waffle is lighter tasting than a normal sweet waffle but still sweet enough to mix with the savory taste of the fried chicken. The chicken itself is also well cooked - boneless, free range and very easy to cut. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good brunch!

Yelp
It was about 10 PM and my husband and I wanted to go out to have a drink and a snack somewhere. I recommended Pachamama in our neighbourhood since we haven't checked it out yet and boy am I glad we went. Food: The menu is Peruvian tapas. All small servings, but enough to share for two people. We ordered the tequenos, beef croquettes, crispy lamb belly, fried aubergine and for dessert the chocolate with quinoa ice cream. Everything was absolutely delicious. I couldn't pick a favourite out of the five dishes we ordered because they were all equally good. Drinks: We ordered two glasses of their special solysombra cocktails which were big and delicious. Price: 61.88 GBP for two people. Ambiance: The restaurant is located lower level and when you walk down the stairs the feel of the restaurant is cozy, fun and friendly. It's actually much larger than I expected. Service: The service is very friendly. The hostess, the bartenders, the servers were all super friendly and helpful with questions we had about the menu. Would I go back? Definitely! We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Yelp
I give this place 6-8 months before it folds. South American food is the new sushi for London and Pachamama is the new wannabe on this trend. Save your money and go to Ceviche or Coya instead. The head chef of Ottolenghi started this place. On a Friday night when any restaurant worth its measure should be packed to the gills this place was empty (granted it is new). The ambience was upscale and nice. Good Pisco-based cocktails. Kudos! But the food was so-so. The best thing we had was the lamb belly. Most dishes were half the size of what you expect at a high quality tapas style place. e.g. The tacos were the size of thumbnails. Half an hour later the ceviche made our tummies hurt. And we know (and make) good gastric-parts friendly ceviche. 6 dishes and £70 later my dinner companion and I were still hungry. We had the choice of spending another £70-80 on 6 more courses to fill up or crossing the street to Tommi's Burgers to get 2 burger meals for £20. We went to Tommi's and were happy for it.

Yelp
Really good food, beautiful presentation however very expensive for what it was I wouldn't be able to afford to come back unless special occasion Well worth one visit though - rating based on price and restaurant atmosphere The brunch menu also looks fab!

Yelp
Definitely not a regular reviewer but this place deserves it. It smells fresh and they've really set the scene for a beatiful homey vibe but that's not the reason you should come here. The menu has been created by 5 chefs from all around the world and it's shows through the food. We ordered the tasting menu and not only was each dish completely unique, there were little textural elements added to make each bite a fun and surprising experience. The flavors were combined so well that's is difficult to even guess what ingredients have been used. I can truly say this was one of the best meals of my life! Not only that but the service was on top of it. Youre definitely missing out by not stopping by, this place is the real life, Ratatouille, moment of awe after one bite, restaurant.

Yelp
Yummy. One of my favourite places for lunch. Aubergine, beef, churros etc all super tasty. Cute decor. The supposedly best burger wasn't special. I'd skip that one. Most other dishes were consistently good. Quite pricey for small dishes. But it's nice and worth it for having something different. Coya is another fav, but that one is much pricier

Yelp
I came to this place after my eyes were seriously seduced by their website. Seriously, this site is almost NSFW there is so much food porn on display! Having previously seen this place listed on "best brunch" articles I was disappointed to find they stopped doing it, but I was informed by our server on the night that it's back. And it's back with a bang because I haven't been able to get a reservation yet! The food here is very good, with pretty good portion sizes that allow you have a taste of multiple dishes without feeling to stuffed. The cocktails are delicious and though we didn't use the happy hour the offer was very good. I really love the decor here. I felt like I was in the back yard of a real Peruvian household, the kind of "family dinner" type scene you see in movies, with strings of lights hung around, artfully placed "cracks" on the walls & even a horse (okay not a real horse, but he still made me double take when I spotted him first!) My only real gripe with this place & reason it's not getting 5 stars is the price. For what we ate I just didn't feel like the price reflected good value. I was a little shocked when we opened the bill & had a scan through the items. Each dish on it's own doesn't seem super expensive but it all adds up pretty quickly. This place will firmly go onto our "special occasions" list, which is fine, it just wasn't what I expected from the tone of their website/decor/etc. Will definitely keep trying for that brunch reservation too!

Yelp
You want to feel cool? Go there! The concept? You order a variety of small dishes to share (from £4 for simplest stuff to £10-15 for elaborate dishes) - around 3 per person is a good average, so plan on spending accordingly. Everything is amazing, some dishes more than other (especially the sweet potato and the eggplant veggie dishes - incredible). And there are 30-40 different items on the menu, so everybody will find stuff he likes. Also do not restrain from ordering a cocktail - I think they are a bit pricey (£8-12) but they are awesome. Really. And again, you have a very long list to choose from, even if you see pretty fast that pisco is their choice alcohol. Only downside: they bring the dishes couple by couple, but very fast, so you'd better not stop eating for too long or you won't have any space left on your table with unfinished small plates all around...

Yelp
Went for the new lunch menu, 4 small plates for £18. Some of the plates were very small. We had the ceviche, anticuchos, ribs and dish of the day , the duck. Most dishes were over salty. The duck was great but quite small. The place was empty when we walked in but then discovered that everyone was seated in a side room. Very strange.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful atmosphere and food. We went with friends for brunch on a Saturday and had a simply wonderful time. Neither we or the other couple had been there before, and we were a bit, ah, older than the staff or normal clientele seemed to be, but the staff was eager and enthusiastic and extraordinarily friendly. We were put instantly at ease. The food was exceptional, the waffles were delicious in all their varieties. On top of that all, the price was very reasonable considering what we got for it. If I had anything close to a complaint it was the cocktail I got, which was as much my error as anything. It was on the small side and not suitable for sitting and sipping and chatting; if that's your aim, I would recommend getting a half carafe or full carafe of wine, of which there is a nice selection. We would not only go back again, but unashamedly recommend. It to anyone traveling to he area. Easy five stars.

Yelp
Love this place. The food is amazing and has really exotic an unique flavours. Having had Peruvian food in Peru myself, I have to say that this place accurately represents the flavours of Peruvian cuisine, but gives it a slightly more modern, European twist. The staff are very attentive and engaged and the restaurant setting is lovely. It is quite expensive but very worth it. Would absolutely recommend!

Yelp
Pachamama is top tier. Awesome atmo, food, drinks, and service. Menu wise -- The fried chicken is to die for, and the carrots and aubergine are out of this world. Drinks wise -- I love the Mama's Pisco, but there is an epic cocktail list and good wine list too. Food is unique and creative, set as small sharing plates. A great recommendation for a special occasion or romantic night. Brought my mom in from out of town, and she loved it! So much flavor, if not a little pricey :)

Yelp
Good food and food service. Nice Peruvian dishes and great pisco sour. I want to try the ceviche next time as I couldn't as my wife is pregnant

Yelp
Awesome place! I just loved this place for the food, ambience and the friendly staffs there. We ordered several snacks by the bar but my favourite one was the smoked cheddar tequeños. It was too good that I had to order another plate. The pork belly was good too but didn't like the crab and yuca churros that much. The bar tenders were way too friendly. The cocktails were amazing too, just loved their Gastón Acurio. A little spicy cocktail for chilli lovers!

Yelp
Great spot. Friendly staff and bartenders. Amazing burger and chicharrons. Enough said.

Yelp
Had a really lovely dinner here, service and atmosphere were great. Fried aubergine was the surprising highlight! The only downside is that some of the dishes are a bit pricey, although the portion sizes are fairly generous.

Yelp
Went there for brunch and food was wonderful but services really subpar... Couldn't get a server to come over the table; took a while to get our order and then couldn't even flag them down for coffee/dessert. Ended up going elsewhere for coffee was I so frustrated. It's not that they were super busy; the wait staff just stood around chatting and laughing. Such a shame that a great food place is being dragged down by it's wait staff...

Yelp
Really friendly waiter with plenty of good suggestions. Food was good but pricey. Ordered a cocktail that had more inedible features that acceptable. The music was so very loud it was difficult to have a conversation.

Yelp
Sam is one of the best bartenders in the world. N.S. Have drinks and dinner at the bar and enjoy the show and conversation. Roasted cod was excellent. Catherine

Yelp
Good food but very bad service. The table next to us: one girl had gotten her food and the other girl had to sit there and wait until SHE had gotten her food about 20-25 min later, so the food for the first girl got cold before the second one had received hers. I then asked the waiter to make sure that both me and my company get our food at the same time and he said "I'll speak to kitchen and see". I was speechless. What?! Of course you serve the whole table at once - that's common sense, I wasn't asking for anything out of the ordinary, he said different meals take different time - well yea of course I knew that but you still serve a table of TWO their food at THE SAME TIME. Anyways. Food was alright, we went for the waffles. Service was very poor.

Yelp
It's very hard for me to see how this restaurant survives - far too expensive for the quality of food. We tried several different ceviches and meat dishes. The ceviches were not good - we did not finish any of them. My chicken was totally raw inside - the restaurant was so dark that I ate several pieces of it wondering why it was so chewy before I used my phone light to look at it. The bright point was the service - our waiter was fantastic.

Yelp
Sooooo yummy!!! I've eaten here twice now and it was equally delicious both times. All the food has amazing flavor profiles and the staff is friendly, which is always a plus. The spicy sauce that comes with the fried chicken is one of the best things I've eaten. If they sold it separately to take home I would definitely buy some. The cheddar taqueños were also a extremely tasty. Don't forget dessert! The food comes out in waves as it is prepared, which gives you time to enjoy each dish on its own, and mix sauces and flavors from your favorites as the meal goes on.

Yelp
A very nice dining experience. All the dishes we tried were at least good, and some exceptional. The service is friendly and accommodating. It's not an inexpensive meal but for the quality it's pretty reasonable. I wasn't totally sold on the decor - faux exposed brick rankles - but in generally the ambiance is nice. Certainly a place worth checking out.

Yelp
We went for family brunch on a weekday. The design is open, light and welcoming, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the menu fascinating and each of the 'small dishes' we ordered was simply fabulous. An all-around great experience.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in London. Went few times and each time it was a great experience. Décor is minimalistic and cool (great for a date, family dinner and birthday party), drinks are fantastic and food is incredibly tasty. I recommend fried aubergine, beef short ribs, pork belly and pardon peppers. For dessert :Peruvian chocolate, toasted quinoa, ( comes as a sort of deconstructed cake idea) which is surprising and worth enjoying the treat and its extra calories. Service is friendly and quick, I would suggest the servers of the food would be better trained but other than that, this place is going to enjoy long years of success. I will be visiting soon yet again:_)))))))

Yelp
Delicious food. Worth the price. Love the tapas style. Definitely give the quinoa and peas a try.
