Gareth was 1 of our 2 servers and both were attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations. We would recommend everything we ate stuffed Avocado, rellano appetizers, toasted cuy, and tarron chocolate. Sorry for any misspellings.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Pachapapa! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What made the evening even more special was our waiter, David. He was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome, offering great recommendations that we loved. His service was exceptional and really enhanced our dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Pachapapa, especially with David as your waiter!

My waiter (Gareth) helped me through the menu and pick a delicious meal of roasted lamb with potatoes and a delicious local beer to go with it. There was a local musician playing the harp for part of the meal which added some extra charm. I highly recommend coming here for the food, atmosphere and service. 🙂

We went to Pachapapa four times during our six-day stay in Cusco, and every visit was amazing. Each time we ordered different dishes, and we loved every one of them. The service was excellent every time too. Panchita was wonderful, and the rest of the team was just as kind and attentive, even though I don’t remember everyone’s names. The outdoor area has such a unique and cozy vibe, and the other rooms are charming with details like a wood-fired stove. We tried several other restaurants in Cusco, but none had the same authentic feel or flavor. The alpaca meat was delicious, and we also loved the beef ribs, empanadas, ceviche, and quinoa soup. Definitely come here hungry — everything is worth trying!

Fun dining experience. Called in advance to reserve the Guinea pig. The meat tasted special but it did need some efforts to have the very first bite. It came with potato, salads and corns as sides. Salad was also good, refreshing and dressing was special. Bread/buns were made home, fresh and a bit sweet. Overall a nice place in Cusco.

Visited twice during our stay here in Cusco. Each time was pleasant and friendly. The food was great, we had the trout, the seco, the konkachu, and the ossobucco all from their courtyardside stone oven. They great you with some complimentary bread and accompanying salsa. Eat within the courtyard if you can and try their selections of wine or pisco. Gareth, was great, very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu!

This set the bar very high for Peru. After eating Peruvian cuisine in many Latin American countries, my first mainland experience far exceeded them. The food was fantastic, with fresh ingredients and very intentional flavors, including with the house cocktails. The location had a great, natural atmosphere too. But what stood out even more was the service from Gareth. He was amiable, informative about the food, and a joy overall. We look forward to our second visit this trip!

This was a recommendation from our concierge at JW Marriott. We are glad that we tried cuy here. You have to wait 1hr after you order cuy because they need time to roast it in the oven. Beto, our waiter was nice and helpful explaining where they source their cuy. They get their guinea pigs from sacred valley. All the appetizers were freshly made. I especially enjoyed the corn dish. The restaurant is nestled in Plaza San Blas which is peaceful without many tourists. The house baked bread they serve before the meal is comforting: they have perfect texture and density. I personally thought having an outdoor oven for the bread added more local touch to the atmosphere.
