"Al Fresco Lunch, Guinea Pig Optional I planned on grabbing a quick lunch at Pacha Papa, located in San Blas Square, the heart of Cusco's artist and gallery neighborhood. But I ended up spending a couple of hours in the lovely outdoor courtyard, talking to my wonderful server, Ever, and the owners about Cusco and Peru 's bright future. My god! Several people recommended this restaurant to us, and they were absolutely right. Service, food and ambience were spectacular. Thank you David for the great service and suggestions.

This is a very warm, inviting restaurant on a chilly evening in Cusco. The lighting and ambience invites comfort, and the staff are efficient. David took good, quick care of us. The lamb was beautifully seasoned, and added to the warmth I felt entering the restaurant.

Very good service and food. It's a traditional and typical house that looks very welcoming. When I mentioned to Gareth that I was feeling a bit weak due to the high altitude, he proposed a light lunch that was just perfect. Definitely recommend and would come back again!

Such delicious food!! Everything was so flavorful. The ambiance was lovely and very relaxing. I loved the authentic touches that were added to everything. Andy was incredibly helpful, gave great recommendations, and was fun to talk to! Thanks for the amazing service, Andy!

Pricey food with very average taste. The Guinea pig is a novelty and the price you pay is more so for taking a picture. Lots of tourists and no locals. I feel like there’s better value food elsewhere personally. The service was good but they do push you to write a good google review on the spot.

Great food and atmosphere. I tried the Roasted Guinea pig. It has lots of bones with similar meat texture to duck and tastes slightly like a chicken. Live harpist musician for gentle ambience. He may ask for tips, so have some tangible money prepared. Great attentive service by Andy

The dining experience here was truly unforgettable. The dishes were awesome and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Gareth was our server. He provided world class service and he would patiently explained all the dishes to us and recommendations when comes to the food pairing. He would check on us regularly while we were dining. He articulates well in English and jovial character. He’s definitely a great asset to the company! Warmest regards from Singapore. By Justin.

Phenomenal service, great food and superb atmosphere! This is one of the most special restaurant visits we ever had. Firstly: food is amazing. I was sad, I couldn't finish and eat it fresh. We had cuzco soup, empanadas as well as fish and the beef stew - everything super delicious and well made. The live presentation of the beef stew was also incredible. Portions were plenty, come in hungry! Also special kudos to our waiter Gareth - such a calm and attentive person. We ordered the starters and he specifically asked if we wanted to share. And they brought it onto separate bowls! Not only they appreciated that we want to share but they made it easy for us. Lastly ambient is amazing. There are several rooms with different styles. We had also the pleasure of a harp player playing local songs and some more modern varieties. 11/10
