"Dinner and a Movie at Pacific Parc With its chill vibe, funky decor, warehouse-like interior and spacious terrace, Pacific Parc is a rock 'n' roll bistro with an edge. Situated in a former treatment plant at Westergasfabriek, the café-nightclub on Amsterdam 's west side clearly represents its mantra, "Do not beg for the right to live, take it." Life is good over international favorites like satay with coconut-peanut sauce, Indian lentil curry, Black Angus burgers and Dutch pannenkoeken, all priced under €20 on lunch and dinner menus. For kids, chicken drumsticks, chips, cucumber and ice cream are on a children's menu for €8. While little ones romp on the spiral staircase, you can dine at the bar or at wooden tables in the open-zoned dining area, under a whimsical chandelier hanging from the sunroof. If you're attending a Westergasfabriek event, Pacific Parc is a great place to meet up with friends. But there's more to this place than relaxed ambiance, good drinks, reasonably priced fare and a menu based on seasonal ingredients. Thursday through Saturday, DJs mix hip-hop with disco and swing tunes. By 23:00, dinner seats are pushed aside and anyone who sticks around may be in for a wild night. A special "Dinner and a Movie" deal entitles you to a flick at Ketelhuis, Westergasfabriek's cinema, plus a starter and main course (excluding drinks) at Pacific Parc for €25. While the restaurant may lack for romance, it's a fine place to get your weekend date off to a savory start."

Staff are sooo unfriendly. We were left with other customers food on our table for 20 mins, we asked 3 separate people who were rude everytime. When someone did come to clear it, she took only half and didn’t come back, our table still hadn’t been cleaned/wiped…
The QR system doesn’t work so we had to go inside to order. Go here if you want to fend for yourself and have a ‘Karen restaurant’ experience.

It’s not a place for diners. Quality of food must be improved. The menu is very-very small. We received tiny portions, and the taste was very mediocre. For young people who come for drinks only this place may be acceptable.

We arrived there around 6pm on a Saturday afternoon, so the place was busy, and they still found a place for 5 people. We had an online English version of the menu and a Dutch one. We have ordered 4 beef burgers, 1 veg burger and calamaris - which they aren’t fried as we are used to, so we didn’t like it. The waitress was nice, changed it, even though it was our mistake. The Burger I can 100% recommended. The ice teas, unfortunately they aren’t the best for the price. The cheesecake, Omg… It seems like it has been in the fridge for really a long time. Sad.
Besides the bad experience with the dessert, it is stil worth a visit!

I had never experienced such bad manners until I met the three idiots at the door. They wanted to charge €9.50 for a 1.5 hour party. They judged me for being Spanish and told me that I didn't have any money. I went to a better party that ended at 5am. The personal treatment was pitiful.

I Loved the atmosphere and the brunch was good… we ate the scramble eggs because they were the only type available on the menu… but I would come back there often now that I know this place, if I could find also the poached eggs… (my favorite for a brunch)!

The atmosphere is quite nice here. The music is good. I only had a Dark & Stormy here and it was decent. It’s just that the place is so noisy that you have to yell at each other to hear one.

Less than mediocre food (cold, no flavor, uncooked), incredibly slow service that we had to remind to bring the menu several times at a nice spot on the edge of the lively Westerpark. Avoid the vegan pannacotta at all costs.
