We really enjoyed our powder day with PCS. Our guides were entirely professional in all respects and showed us all a really good time. Terrain access was limited due to avalanche safety, but we still had plenty of awesome terrain to ski throughout the day. Even with super deep snows the day before and day of, operations ran smoothly and Sasha was at the trailhead to meet, greet, send us up, and see us again at the end of the day. Can't wait to ski with the PCS crew again! SECOND TRIP UPDATE 4/2: Thanks to excellent fresh snow stability, we got a chance to safely ski the steepest terrain all day. Thrilling steep, deep and long runs!

Incredible day on some amazing backcountry runs! The Keegan and Sasha are amazing communicators, providing advice about the area and other activities to enjoy prior to our overseas visit. They are receptive to feedback and likely to make the experience even better as they grow. The terrain was EPIC! We were lucky to have a foot of fresh powder 2 days before our booking. The runs pushed me to my limits, and unlikely to suit any less than expert skiers/boarders. Would love to join you again!

Epic Day in the backcountry with Pacific Crest Snowcats. Lived in Tahoe for years and never knew anything like this existed. Our guides Keegan and Kendall were amazing and put us on the goods all day. Can’t wait to go back soon and see what the upper Alpine has to offer!! Highly recommend these guys.

Had the best time exploring the back country with PCS! Happy and Kelly were awesome guides all through the day with a major focus on safety and fun. Happy got us into the best zones where he presented us with bottomless powder and all the terrain we could ask for. Looking forward to my next booking and highly recommend them to anyone wanting deep powder turns!

Safe, amazing snow and terrain. My day was about 36 hours after a storm and Happy and Ryan took us to the best terrain and snow conditions I could imagine. They were both extremely professional, knowledgeable, and charismatic. Happy is clearly one of the most knowledgeable North Tahoe backcountry guides. He knew EVERYTHING about the terrain he took us to and made it easy to follow and stay safe. Ryan was extremely personable and easy to work with. Ryan was the tail guide and rode in the back of the cat with us so we had more facetime with him. He was approachable, professional, and talented. Both were passionate avalanche experts and exceptional skiers. A guest had a minor injury and had to leave and they handled it very well with the rest of the PSC team. The terrain was great. Most of the spots had options for folks to get air and/or get some wide turns in more open areas. After each steep section, there was usually a flatter area with trees to get back to the cat so I'd recommend for snowboarders, be ready to navigate that. Could not recommend this more! Likely once in a lifetime for me due to the cost but so worth it!! Thank you thank you thank you!!

Hit a great bluebird day between December storms. Wife gave the family an XMas cat trip gift. Full powder day, though all the good snow was up high. Terrain is fantastic and matches what they say on their website. Happy (yes, that is his name) and Rayce were such excellent guides. So knowledgeable of the terrain and where the best powder spots were. Amazing how they optimized the efficiency of the cat runs to maximize skiing time. Really impressive, and we got 10 great runs in. But they were both knowledgeable well beyond just the ski trip. Truly a great experience. Well worth the money. We left at 8:00 a.m. and got back to the car at 5: 00 pm. These guys are truly a class act operation. BTW: A couple of guys on the trip had to reschedule earlier in the week because of bad weather and they said it was a truly impressive how Pac Crest accommodated them. They were very impressed with the customer service. Oh, and I forgot to mention they had Lagunitas IPA and Sierra Nevada on ice in the cabin for the drive back to the car. A very nice touch.

We had such a great experience with this group! Navigating the booking with Brock was a piece of cake and our guide (Happy) was such a bright spot of the day. We had some killer snow (20+ inches) on untouched terrain and Happy certainly made the best of it! If you are thinking about it, you will definitely not regret it

What a hidden gem! These guys deserve more praise & reviews. All went well from beginning to end, and our guides were top notch. They have unparalleled knowledge of the terrain, and kept a positive vibe the entire time. Our group was fortunate enough to have all been on the same level, so we got a whopping 12 runs in, with perfect snowy conditions. This was my first backcountry experience, and while I was a bit nervous at first, the professionalism of our guides put my mind at ease. The snowcat is also top of the line & provided a very easy & comfortable trip up the mountain each run. Next time I’m in Tahoe I’ll absolutely tour with this outfit again!
